Northwest Brewing News

This a great little freebie newsmag that covers the regional microbrew scene that includes Alaska, British Columbia, Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. I picked up my copy at Sudwerk in Davis, California so I could bone up on possible brewpub destinations the next time I trek northward.
I was pleased to see that one of my Sacramento favorites, Rubicon, advertises in this publication, as does my hometown brewery (Etna Beer). The features are great, especially the Northwest Craft Beer Directory and the regular column by The Beer Bitch.
Having considered employment in the brewing industry after three long years in the «trenches of science» (I was a quality control chemist at a soap factory), I still get to fantasize about a life dedicated to beer every time I read the NWBN. I tend to read the thing cover-​to-​cover, get incredibly thirsty for some quality beer, quaff a few down and have a nice nap.
