Ate dinner there last night. I’m all for good fake Mexican but this wasn’t. The pastor was not good and I was overall disappointed.

My husband and I went here on a Friday night around 7 and it was busy. We were a little worried about how long the wait would be since people were waiting outside, but it only took them about 10 mins to seat us. Our waiter was very friendly, made good eye contact and was very enthusiastic. The food was brought out about 10 mins after we ordered and we had no complaints. I ordered the fajita chimichanga and my husband ordered the 3 chimichangas. Our food was hot and delicious. My margarita was the perfect combo of sour mix and tequila. We will definitely be going back!

I wanted to update my first review. My family has been back several times since our initial visit. During all of these visits, the food and service was very good. They must have been having an off night during our first visit. We will definitely return on a regular basis.

This is a solid Mexican restaurant near Weldon Spring. Lots of margarita flavors, big selection, great service.

Friendly family-owned restaurant with great $ 1 tacos on Monday. Can’t beat the price! We often don’t receive what we actually ordered, but all of the food is tasty so it’s OK. They could work on their accuracy though. Sometimes it takes a long time to get the check and a REALLY long time to check out. This is frustrating and has happened every time we have been there. The hostess doesn’t seem to be doing much and could really help the wait staff by taking care of the people wanting to check out. Overall, it’s a sweet little place to enjoy some Mexican fare. Sometimes the tacos are«watery» — think they have off-nights from time to time. Usually it’s good though. And, they are definitely friendly and kind.

Every time I come to St. Charles, County I eat at Los 3 Compadres. Pedro and his team are always on their game. I always have good service. Great interaction from the wait staff and management team. If you are looking for speed of service this is not Taco Bell but a fresh take on Mexican food. Just sit back have a great margarita or have a shot of tequila from the«barrel». Keep up the great work!

Great food, great drinks, great service, reasonable prices!!! Need I say more… We have enjoyed their breakfast(served on weekends) and many of their dinner menu items and have never been disappointed. Definately in my top three of all time favorites!

Hands down the best Fajitas Mexicana for two in town. Actually, more like food for 4 or «for days» with the leftovers. I love this place! St Charles county has numerous restaurants like this one and some are better than others. This is one of the better ones.

This is a fairly new restaurant. My girlfriend and I went for dinner and margaritas. The top shelf pitcher of margaritas were one of the best in the area. We eat regularly at many Mexican restaurants in the same area and these drinks were very very good. I ordered the fish tacos and they were definitely the best I have ever had in the area. They were served with a gravy(they called it) that was very delicious. We also ordered the cheese dip, salsa verde and a chicken fajita quesadilla which were all delicious also. We went for dinner and drinks and then enjoyed ourselves next door dancing at The Clubhouse. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Yikes! Friday night this place is full of young families with screaming kids. We had very poor service, never got drink refills. The food quality is slipping here, my tamales were very dry, and the food is obviously microwaved– or just re heated. There’s a problem when your food gets to the table faster than at McDonald’s!

This place is hit or miss. The location is good but they aren’t on the trail for a lot of folks. We have been there 3 – 4 times and each time is different. Sometimes the food is great and other times not. If the consistency would be there it could become our first choice.

We tried this place for the first time tonight(2÷20÷15). It was fine. Not great, but not completely horrible. Lots of little misses on service(there was a hair in the queso, the fajitas were not hot, refills were slow in coming, I could go on). That said, the atmosphere was nice enough. With so many good Mexican choices, won’t likely go back.

Best Margaritas West of Downtown St Louis. The staff is phenomenal and extremely friendly. I highly recommend the chorizo chimichangas and the bean and cheese burrito if you’re a vegetarian. Back to the margaritas, if you go top shelf, you leave loopy.

The BEST Mexican food in the Saint Charles area. We are regulars and eat here on a weekly basis. Great service from everyone especially Jose and Andreas. Love the margaritas and food is always excellent. Recommend this place to all my friends!

Excellent experience. The review for this place is long overdue. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Refills are done before you even ask! The atmosphere is pretty good, just like most Mexican restaurant places for the most part. The chips and salsa are excellent. They serve fresh warm tortilla chips and the salsa is made fresh daily. The food takes about 10 mins to come out so you can enjoy a nice cold beer while you eat the chips and salsa. The food is always fresh and delicious. I got the shrimp fajitas and they were amazing. Big shrimp with delicious side of rice, bean, guacamole, etc. all served fresh and delicious. The tortillas were wrapped in foil and were nice and hot. My wife got their veggie fajitas and she absolutely loved them. Not one thing was wrong or bad, excellent experience. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to try this place since reviews on this place weren’t great but I am extremely happy I gave this joint a shot!!!

They have the best tasting food for the«Mexican» category in the area. The have«el pastor» and a great margurita menu. They will customize the menu for your taste and spice. Forget El Maguey and La Carreta because the there is no passion in the food. Give the cooks at 3 Los and they will deliver. Great food but they do need a full time bar keep to dish out more booze

This place is stuffed into a newer, upscale-appearing strip mall off of one of the major highways in the area. On a personal scale, the people who run this place seem very pleasant and good-natured, based on observed interactions. That aside, the food was mediocre at best. Beware overly stale taco shells and seemingly from-the-can enchilada sauce. Margaritas are good, but unbalanced(one might seem watery, the next will put you under the table). Service was a little off, but nothing worth raising problems about. Price is considered high for the quality of the food. Overall, my experience was not a pleasant one. Unfortunately, what I like at Mexican restaurants was just not up to par. Since the wife enjoyed her meal, advice from this author is to try other things and see what is good. Maybe it will be a different experience for you.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. The staff always remembers me and is super friendly. Not to mention the food is amazing. I try to get something different every time and I’ve been pleased with every meal. The service is a little slower at dinner time but very quick for lunch.

Since this is right by my house I wanted to give it a try. We made it in right before happy hour ended, so we got some margaritas,(which were only a dollar off), and some Jalisco dip(which was basically beans, cheese, and chorizo). The margaritas were good, especially my GFs mango one. The dip was very good too, but very filling so order accordingly. Their fajita chimichanga was very good and fresh. GF ordered some spinich enchalidas, which were also good. So all in all food was pretty tasty. However the service… oh the service… It was about slow as a moving iceberg! I don’t know if this was on purpose so we couldn’t get a 2nd round of drinks for happy hour or what, but it was terrible. Additionally, the pricing of everything on the menu is about 1 or 2 dollars higher per item than most other Mexican places we frequent. So yes, I’ll be back since it is so close, and it is definitely better than La Carretta, but still not in my top 5 of Mexican places in the St. Louis Area.
