Have been eating at the El Taconazo truck since 2009. It has always struggled. It’s very popular in College Station when parked on College Main Street every Friday. Short blue truck, one of the rare ones that has beef tongue. If you look at the business next door in the large open lot where restaurants fails over and over again, that’s where they started. In the last two weeks they have located back where they started in the C-Store that they own, Wellborn Grocery, which is slated for demolition. If you want to try one of the original tacos of Aggieland, hurry up and do it now. Sure it will take a short drive to Wellborn but with a companion that’s not so bad. Tacos are HUGE at $ 1.49 My favorite are the pulled pork.
