Great little coffeeshop. Cool, clean, and rustic atmosphere. We ordered a grass-fed burger on a super-fluffy brioche roll. We are burger snobs and this was fantastic! Top 5 burger. Ginger molasses cookie was great too! We will be back!

We were so excited to go here but when we arrived found out it was cash only so we left without lunch… It’s 2015 — get with it and get a Square!

Stumbled upon this place while biking along Rt 6. Stopped by for a quick bite and was very impressed with the quality of the food. Delicious veggie and pork sandwich, soft bread and nice balance of flavors. Great outdoor seating as well with nice décor and music. A bit off the beaten path but well worth the visit.

Awesome food, cool atmosphere. Currently my favorite place for lunch in Orleans. TRY A CHOCOLATECHIPCOOKIE. Best cookie I think I’ve ever had, just thinking about it makes me want one. Now that they’ve expanded the menu this place is absolutely worth visiting. Especially for the cookies.

The wait is just craziness, but these were the BEST fish tacos I’ve ever had. Substituted the chipotle cream for citrus mayo. Divine. Blown away by how delicious, fresh, mix of savory herby fish taco yum.

This place has been getting a lot of good press lately so I made it a point to stop in for a late lunch on my way into P-town. There were about 8 people in line ahead of me and it took a good long while to place my order, by which time about 75% of the menu was out. No worry, they still had my fav, fish tacos yeah! My anticipation dwindled in the next 45 min that I waited for that one taco. The staff is super friendly and kind, perhaps way too kind to let the«cook» know she can actually work more than one ticket order at a time. Seriously painful to watch. Then at long last I got my taco, yeah! I then spent another several minutes playing hide and go looky for the fishy but there its tiny little self was after all, buried under a mountain of slaw. Mind you the fish was indeed cooked well, the slaw very fresh and crisp but not worth the $ 10.50 and the hour of my life I will never get back. Annoyed to feel annoyed on such a beautiful day.

Limited menu. Occasionally long wait times. Other than that excellent food!!! Fish tacos are great. Even the hot dogs look amazing!!!

So worth the choice! As we Unilocaled for places open for brunch… some were closed and as a family we were hungry! My hubby is all about stars. with 5, we were easily headed here and we all agreed, the stars are definitely accurate! Enjoyed every bite of the bird breakfast, fish tacos, porcetta sandwich and hot dog! Fresh tomato salad with amazing feta and basil was right on and hit the spot on a hot day! Now eating the orange chocolate cookie for dessert. delightful! We’ll be back before we leave this week! Thanks Sunbird for our best meal,.goes to show quality good food is all about fresh ingredients and passion!

Quite possibly the best place to eat in Wellfleet ever(and I’ve been coming here 38 years). Tasty, fresh, inventive, earnest, and lovely. As a celiac sufferer, I was especially grateful to the care they took in making sure my meal was gluten free and delicious. I’ll be going back again soon!

Beautiful shop and a great addition to Orleans. The food is nice and original. It would be great if they could add some Non-Bread items of substance too. But very tasty food. Pricey though. And just too busy in the summer during the mornings. They have a throughput issue on the register and it just takes horribly long if there is a line. They should add another register in the summer.

We were going to wait until we got to the house to get food, but we’re so glad we didn’t! The porchetta sandwich with everything(minus bacon) was delicious. The runny egg added a fun, messy component. The hotdog was ordered with bacon, pickled onions, mustard and ketchup. Full-grain mustard, and ketchup that tasted like tomatoes were refreshing and delicious. My girlfriend hadn’t had a hotdog in about ten years; the hotdog at Sunbird was good enough to break that streak! We split an orange chocolate-chip cookie, and each had a lemonade. The cookie was too good to save until later, which was the original plan. Definitely worth stopping for. Sunbird is cash only, though there is an ATM close by.

As Chip said, «I have never had a better sandwich,» referring to the porchetta sandwich — our server recommended the addition of smoked mozzarella which was amazing. The fish tacos were fresh, flavorful and delicious. Kate(our 8 yo) found her Bird Breakfast sandwich difficult to fit into her mouth, but she loved it. The ciabatta bread, the egg, the thick-sliced bacon were fantastic, even if eaten separately. Yum. The service was friendly and efficient and the setting is truly delightful.

The food at Sunbird is quite good. It’s all fresh and flavorful. Everyone in our party liked their meal(two fish tacos, a hot dog, and grilled sweet corn). I was really digging the grilled sweet corn with a sauce that I think was Sriracha mixed with Greek yogurt. I also liked the homemade mustard. The service isn’t bad, either. It’s quick, and the employees are friendly and polite. The main problem with Sunbird is the portions/prices. The portions are very small considering the price. The hot dogs aren’t really better than store hot dogs. The fish tacos are small and don’t have nearly enough fish. Our total was somewhere around forty, which is a lot for what we ended up getting. Overall, eat here only if you have money to spend.

I’ve just died and gone to porchetta heaven… With an egg on top. This place is awesome. In fact the only thing I hate about them is that they do everything right(jerks). From the brief menu where everything is fantastic to the beautiful design and layout these folks know what’s up. We enjoyed some delicate clean and fresh fish tacos as well as the euphoria inducing porchetta. The sandwich was so boss. I’m still trying to get yolk out of my beard. The only dessert they have is a chocolate chip cookie made with milk and dark chocolate as well as orange zest. It’s soft and tasty but as a chocolate chip cookie purist — it’s good but I wouldn’t order it a second time. I would definitely go out of my way to eat here as often as possible while on the Cape and can’t wait to come back. Two Tweet tweet up!

This is a «don’t miss» in the outer Cape, up there with Black Fish in Truro, Kohi coffee in Ptown and Lobster Pot’s Portugese kale soup. The Porcheta is a tender slow roasted pork shoulder sandwich, perfectly seasoned and balanced by pickled red onions, arugula and a savory sauce. It’s quite possibly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Picnic table seating, small food truck menu, and just blissful all around.

Could this just just be the cutest food truck in the East? I passed it on my way to Head of the Meadow Beach, but it looked so inviting I promised myself to stop by on the return. And boy, am I glad I did! The vibe is super mellow, the staff cute and friendly, and their porchetta sandwich to die for. Of course I added bacon to it, true to my mantra«put bacon on everything», and while I’m sure the sandwich is delicious without it, too, it made it just that bit more artery-clogging divine! The food is freshly made and nicely presented, and the deco of the sitting area surrounding the truck is very chill. I was lucky to get there just before the lunch rush set in, which for those after me led to a bit of a wait time, but hey, it’s a small food truck after all! Nevertheless, it seems that travelers and locals alike enjoy the scrumptious roadside fare.

This place is truly a find on the cape which is filled with fried, overpriced crap for food. We ordered hot dogs and fish tacos and were very happy with both. I really enjoyed the hot dog served on grilled ciabatta bread with arugula and homemade ketchup. It was a delicious gourmet version of pedestrian fast food and totally hit the spot. My husband had the fish taco and said it was very good although I think it wasn’t the best value. Quite small and yes, as another Unilocaler commented, there were no sides, so for $ 10 it may have been a bit overpriced. It really would have been more appropriate to charge $ 7 or to add cole slaw or some rice or something. The best part was the attention to detail that was apparent everywhere you looked. The tiki hut umbrellas, the lovely plants, charming entrance to the bathroom, reggae music, plenty of places to sit in the shade, cleanliness, recyclable utensils and paper goods. A real consciousness was felt that is sorely needed in general, but especially on the Cape where it feels as if you went back in time with all the plastic, styrofoam and junk food around. This is the wave of the future, hopefully and I wish them a long and prosperous run. We will definitely be back!

We had the fish tacos which were very good, although the portions were small for the cost. My family and I stopped by after a hike on Great Island and were starving. The kids got hot dogs and my wife and I each got an order of fish tacos. After drinks we’re over $ 50. I’m ok with spending that much for lunch, but the fish taco order was two small tacos, and nothing else! A little rice and/or beans would have made it worth the $ 10 price tag, but nope just two small tacos… The same with the kids dogs, no chips, slaw, nothing. The food was good, although not with the $$.
