El Agave

Went to look for Dona Juana’s. They were closed. Instead I went to El Agave. A 4 star rating on Unilocal.Ordered the Chipotle Chicken Burrito with whole beans. Instead I got the Chicken Enchilada with refried beans. It was smothered with so much cheese I couldn’t taste the food. They never asked me how the food was only if I wanted another Margherita. I guess they figured if I was drunk enough I wouldn’t care about the food. The best thing about the restaurant was the service and the fresh chips and salsa. Arriba!

Great food, drinks and great customer service!!! Me and my friends always have a good time when we go. Definitely recommend to others!

This is our second time here and defiantly not our last. The service is awesome the food is exceptionally tasty. If you’re in Wenatchee make this a must stop…

I live in Quincy where the majority of restaurants are Mexican and I am used to and enjoy the over all atmosphere of Mexican restaurants but at El Agave things were both sloppy and sketchy…
Our server asked me twice what I wanted and still got it wrong. Served my sister an enchilada instead of a burrito thinking she wouldn’t know the difference and then when we went to pay for our food he made the change for my bill out of money he had in his pocket but he rounded up my bill! Like it was nothing he charged me more!
Over all an incredibly untrustworthy place to spend your money! They didn’t serve what we ordered and they rounded up our bill so it would be easier for them to make change! And the food wasn’t even that good… Better places to eat than El Agave!

Dang! I totally didn’t expect anything special as this place was my 2^nd choice for the day but wow was I impressed!.. 1^st test is chips and salsa. A+, 2^nd test is a Cadillac margarita… expensive but worth it A+ and the food as very good and plentiful. Only suggestion would be to reduce the cost of the drinks… $ 16 for a large or jumbo Cadillac is about $ 3 or $ 4 too high but I will be back… over and over again.

Best Mexican food that I’ve had in wenatchee or moses lake. Extremely fast and hassle free. Tastes amazing as well.

Saturday night… table for 8. We had a short wait around 7pm, but they were able to accommodate us. The service was quick and friendly and the margaritas were amazing!

I came in during lunch while I was in town for work, and Agave was recommended to me. The chips, salsa, and pico de gallo were good and the décor was very colorful. I ordered a fajita salad with no meat and it was MASSIVE especially for the price ($ 10)! It came with an extra side of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, I think as a concession to the no-​meat request, which was thoughtful. The fajita salad itself was alright… nothing special, aside from the size (I immediately asked for a box once it came out, hah). It had a lot of mushrooms which I don’t really like and a bit more cheese than I usually like, but that’s more just my personal taste than anything on the part of the restaurant. The service was attentive and not overbearing. All in all it was fine but I would probably check out another Mexican restaurant the next time I am in town just to see what else is out there.

Best Mexican food I’ve had since living in Durango, CO. I will come here again! The salsa is fresh and flavorful and the waitstaff are extremely nice. We enjoyed the combination for 2 and couldn’t finish it. It was so much awesome food.

Amazing! Great service and the food was great. Even though they were pretty busy it didn’t show, the waitress was great and we didn’t have to wait forver for our food.

So disappointing. After reading some great reviews about this place, we decided it would be stop one for our evening out — get a base of good Mexican before heading out for drinks. Well… we didn’t get that base. After being seated in the bar, it took a long time for them to get our drink order. Then the waiter just disappeared. He never returned to take our order, even after we asked one of the staff to send him over. We just sat there in the corner for nearly 30 minutes before finally deciding to throw some cash on the table and take off. The dining room was busy, so I’m guessing the food was good, but we never got that far…

The décor is really nice and colorful. We were impressed by that on the Friday night we ate here but unfortunately little else.
The wait staff was attentive and the restaurant was slow. The food came fast but my girlfriend’s meal arrived about 5 minutes before mine.
There were no napkins or silverware in site until we asked.
The pico de gallo was good and it was nice to have that as an alternative to the salsa which tasted like nail polish remover.
The taco salad had pulverized, gritty beef similar to that which you’d find at taco bell. The seafood burrito was good.
Instead of getting me a new drink with a new straw the waitress refilled the cup I was using.
Finally, we were charged $ 1.50 for adding beans to the taco salad when it was a substitution.
I was really disappointed because of the good reviews here. We won’t be coming back.

I love this restaurant and their food. It’s been a favorite for a long time. Great salsa. Great rice and beans. Wonderful entrees. I am especially a fan of their shredded beef chimichangas and the steak fajitas. Nachos are great too. Large portions so if you clean your plate, you have probably over eaten.

Celebrated a Birthday Dinner with family and friends at El Agave last Thursday 2÷27÷14. Extremely friendly staff. great service and spectacular food! Not to mention a full selection of different tequilas. El Agave has the best Mexican food in all of Wenatchee! AAAA++++

I love this restaurant! Great food I would recommend the molcajete or the carne asada! Great customer service ! My husband and two kids love it aswell ! Wish we could go every weekend! 5 star for sure!

Service was good for our large party, but it was early and the place wasn’t too busy. Salsa was awesome with polenta of heat. Obviously fresh. Had chipotle chicken and was quite satisfied. Unusual reddish sauce on a split breast. Generous portion.

Food was pretty standard. Maybe a little high priced. I felt forgotten by the waiter, though. The bill took forever.

We were promptly seated, and our smiling server, Beto, was quick to bring our delicious Cadillac Margaritas. He didn’t rush us to place our orders from their colorfully illustrated menus; and our flavorful dinners were served without delay. My husband’s favorite Colorado burrito didn’t disappoint, and my Chipotle Chicken was just the right combination of sweet and spicy. All in all, a very good dining experience thanks to Unilocal reviews. Will definitely stop here next time we’re in town.

Tequilas was good but El Agave is great! The food is delicious and they have a wide variety. The décor is vibrant and tasteful. They have a great bar and a fun and easy going atmosphere! Great for group get togethers. Always a good time.

Very tasty Mexican food and great service! The décor and menus are a little nicer than most Mexican cuisine spots. I came here with a group of people and they were very quick to get some tables shoved together for us and quick to deliver some hot chips and salsa to our table. I had a margarita on the rocks and the Vallarta Fajitas (traditional fajita ingredients with some Tilapia filets cooked in Adobo.) The margarita was nice and strong and the fajitas were some of the best I’ve ever had! Our service was very friendly and very attentive to our needs. I will definitely be back!
