Shopko

This store reminds me a lot of Target but without the crowds. Lol Its convenient to my house and easier for me to get to than Target. Maybe not as well stocked but I usually find what I’m looking for at a fair price.
The store is clean and well lit inside and appears to be taken care of.
The staff have been helpful and friendly when I’ve needed assistance, very much different than my target experience.
Some folks may find it convenient to have a Payless shoe source inside Shopko. I don’t buy shoes here but I’m sure others will find that useful.
I would like to see a larger selection of higher quality clothes and especially in larger men’s sizes. I ain’t no buttercup, dearie. Lol

Went here today for the first time. It reminds me of an expensive Kmart. It’s okay and they have a lot stuff including a payless shoes, but I think their gimmick is price high then have sales. Seems like there are good deals to be had but I would only shop their sales. I noticed $ 119 for a dinnerware set that’s $ 30 at big lots. Some were on «sale» for $ 49.99. But then there were cute clearance items and some good sale deals that were better than target or Walmart. I got a really nice lamp shade for $ 6. The aisles are clean and wide, everything was in its place. The staff was not very friendly at all. In fact I heard one of them belittling the other of an end cap display. Very unprofessional. Not once did anyone ask if I needed help or if I was finding everything okay and I passed several staff and there were almost no shoppers it was a ghost town. The cashier was equally unfriendly not a smile and seemed inconvinenced when I asked her the date so I could fill out the rewards application for their club. Beings I just moved here I spelled wenatchee wrong at first (I caught it) but she kinda scoffed when I was writing. Don’t know if that was my assumption or she was just to tired to be polite. Overall I’d go again but likely just for retail therapy and hunt the sales. Not for anything specific.

Used to be one of our staple suppliers as a store. However, with the full-​serve Walmart and the Target stores very close, I am surprised this place hasn’t close. Though no fault of their own. The goods are ok. We stil come here from time-​to-​time.
