Stopped in at Stones Gastropub today for lunch for the first time and am happy to say I really enjoyed myself. I had the pulled pork sandwich and the dirty fries. The sandwich came on fresh fry-bread. A bit to much to pick up and eat, but who cares that I needed a fork? The meat was dressed with a blueberry bbq sauce and a nice slaw. The flavors worked well together especially once I got over my fear of the preserved lemon peel. The dirty fries however were truly the star of the plate. Shoestring cut fries slathered in duck studded béchamel and bits of Beecher’s cheddar. It was a riot of deliciousness. For dessert my hubby tried the espresso crème brûlée and I had the beignet’s with orange sauce and chocolate-hazelnut drizzle. Hot and delightful and easily enough for 2. The orange sauce was clearly the highlight of a great plate. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen was a bit slow for the number of people being served and parking was(as typical for downtown Wenatchee) challenging. Overall though, a truly pleasant dining experience. We will probably be back.

Nice, but small outdoor seating area. Great burgers and a nice wine list. Was quite hot inside on a 90 degree day.

I returned to Stones, as promised, to enjoy a coffee. Andre recognized me – and my earlier review. He told me that the chef made changes to the menu based on my input and comments from other diners and reviewers. While I haven’t had dinner there again, my original review is old enough that perhaps you should try out Stones and see if it has improved.(My updated star award takes into account the coffee, and the changes based on customer input.)

Wow, what a great place in Wenatchee for great food, wine and service! It is located right across from the convention center, so convenient for that or after skiing. We had ribeye steaks after day of skiing at Mission Ridge… excellent! Also the scallops and flat roasted bread with bleu cheese and garlic were perfect. Andre made great suggestions on wines… reasonable price. Check it out!

Stones is a really great spot, both for food, and for their coffee! My wife and I really enjoy stopping past when we’re downtown for something, or just when we feel like a great cup of coffee. Their Stumptown coffee is darn good, and the food is extremely tasty! Last time I stopped past I had the cheese plate, which was quite excellent. I think their real strength is the combination of good food, good coffee, and the amazingly relaxed and friendly atmosphere they’ve managed to hit. The interior design manages to be both relaxed and classy, and is totally comfortable for any dress level from jeans and a t-shirt through a three-piece suit. Nice and quiet, too, just about the perfect spot to stop past and grab a relaxed evening meal.

Eclectic menu, charismatic waiter(Andre) and great food. Chic look and vibe that would not have been out of place in a major metropolitan city. Loved the lamb chops and lamb burger. Kale salad was delicious too.

When we walked in we were seated right away and our server brought us water. And then our server changed to a male server whom never told us his name or none of us three ever heard him tell us. The server was not familiar with some menu item questions. Do the entrees come with veggies or sides? I do not know that answer either because he did not know what came with the duck. So I opted for the hamburger and the hamburger I ordered was well, I mean, well done. Be sure you tell the server how you want it cooked because obviously he did NOT ask me. Overcooked and dry. The salads that were ordered by my other two companions were satisfactory but its a salad, hard to screw up a salad. We never had our water glasses refilled. Hmmm no refills on water I guess if you do not order beer or wine. Our Server also forgot to put in one of our appetizer orders also. Told us it would be out before the entrees… well it did not make it out until the entrees. He did tell us the Chef/Cook was new and a bit slow as he was getting comfortable with the new place. Well you should never blame the Chef for unsat service. Maybe an off night for our server and the four tables that were filled on a Friday night was unusual but asking others whom were seated near us, the service to their table was not ideal either. Just not a great evening overall. Appears from other reviews that the beer and wine are the reasons to visit Stones not so much the food. Would probably NOT visit this restaurant again in the future.

The service and food were AMAZING! Their roasted flatbread, falafel, fish tacos, lamb chops and stones’ burger were incredibly delicious. Their staff was incredibly attentive and never left a glass dry. The owners were stopping by every table to maintain service was top notch. Can’t wait to go back!

Just there for a pre-wedding event. Really friendly staff and delicious food including flavorful veggie apps and pasta entrees. Expansive selection of local beers on tap(especially IPAs) and nice wine list.

Im glad I found this place. Kind of the Portland vibe. I don’t know what other options are around, but when the Applebee’s gets the best reviews in town, you get a little suspect. Good local beers on tap, very competent service, a variety of seating(communal, small tables, bar stools) and stumptown coffee. The food is pretty tight also. Good amount for the money, in my jaded opinion. I’ve only had a burger and a salad, and both came out fast and were delish. The meat seems a little lean so get it on the more-rare side if you like it juicy. The dirty fries(béchamel, lamb, cheese) will put you to sleep like a tasty lullaby. The other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked great. Their recipients looked happy. Nice.

We went there for a happy hour and we were very happy with our choice. All draught beers are $ 3 and $ 3 off any wine –best bang for the bucks! They also have selected dishes for $ 5 during happy hour. The portion was pretty small which we ended up trying almost every dishes in their happy hour menu.(still great value at $ 5). we liked the food. our order of favorites were per below 1. wings: unique bbq flavor not the usual buffalo(probably the biggest portion of all happy hrs dishes) 2. fish taco: Yum: great flavor & fresh, flaky fish 3. roasted beets & mozarella 4. squash flatbread 5. hummus(made from almond) Happy Hour was definitely a great deal. We would love to go back there again!

Why didn’t I dine here before? I was torn between the fish and chips and a burger. So I asked my waiter Sasha. He said both are awesome. I opted for the fish and chips. It was very tasty if not a tad greasy. But hey, it’s fish and chips right? I’m traditional in that I prefer the thicker chips. These were the shoestring variety. They were also great. But then I decided to dip a small bite of fish in the ketchup provided. It was just about the best condiment I’ve ever had. Holy ketchup batman. House made. I finished off the rest of my fish dipping it. Wow. Now I need to come back just to dip stuff.

Look, I’m not going to go on and on about how good or how bad everything was. Our server, Shaelee(Sp?), was just plain awesome. Speedy, friendly, helpful, and you could tell in a genuinely good mood. She deserves a raise as far as I am concerned! I would recruit her if I could. Food was to die for, PERFECT! Service was PERFECT!(all of it, from every employee) Stones is my new favorite place in town. I will be a regular customer!

Just ate at Stones Gastropub with 6 other friends. We reserved a table which was promptly ready at our arrival. The server was spot on with our drink orders. He was efficient while taking dinner order. The two apps we requested arrived in a timely fashion. The cod was delicate. The flat bread was dry. The roasted garlic needed to be roasted longer. However, we were not displeased. Roughly an hour later with the restaurant less than a quarter full we received our burgers, tacos, and braised short ribs. Not to mention our sides which were fries/dirty fries. The potatoes were cold. Not even slightly warm. The poutine, on the soggy spuds was below par. Big chunks of raw garlic. The burger was also room temp. The short rib was an after thought at this point, considering it trailed behind everything else and we were becoming disgruntled. I must say, the Argentinian Chimichurri was fresh and full of flavor. The server offered to bring out hot fries. Upon arrival it was evident they were not heated properly. Soggy and hot on one side of the plate. Cold on the other half. I don’t want to assume they were done by chef Microwave. The server then failed to check back or clear plates. He did say he was going to bring us desserts. We sat for an over extended time. I got up to let him know we wanted to book it. Leave! At this point another server dropped three desserts on the house. Yet, he pulled zero plates that were pushed to the side from our dinner. I didn’t try the sweet food. My mouth was bitter from the service and poor quality of dinner. On a side note, I don’t believe customers need to hear from their wait staff that they are training people in the kitchen or that so and so isn’t there to manage properly. Its not our problem. We are there to wine and dine without giving a care about what is going on behind the scenes.

Casual but up-scale feel in an intimate setting with amazing food, a good beer(and huge wine) selection and great service. We got the chopped bean salad, heirloom tomato salad, roasted garlic flat bread, mussels and fish tacos and literally everything was delicious. The heirloom tomato salad with the watercress and feta was perfection. The mussels were perfectly cooked and the sauce was to-die-for. The fish tacos were delightful and the cheese served with the roasted garlic flat bread was absolutely fantastic. We will DEFINITELY be back soon!

This place is clean and the food was great. We had the rib eye steak which was good and the duck breast. The duck was good but I couldn’t get past the texture of it, but that was just me, I had never had duck was nice to try something new and it was worth it. Our server was very friendly and we received very good service.
