Cousins Subs

I have driven past this place for years and today I thought I have not had a Cousins sub in a long time. Cousins was my favorite chain sub for a long time until they got moved to second place by another entry into the sub market. Today was like visiting an old friend that you have not see in a while.
I will admit I have not been to a Cousins in a long time but I found the place to be very nice looking for a fast food chain. The walls had color and texture with aluminum trim and dark wood floors. There was dark rich color wood tables and chairs with decent looking comfy booths. A nice stone accent wall complemented the cool aluminum light fixtures. To be honest I liked this place and I don’t remember Cousins subs ever looking this clean and having an upper scale look for a fast food place.
As for the sub that has dropped to second on my chain list, Cousins has a unique creamy flavor that starts in the bread and when all the other meats, cheese, oil, seasonings, and vegetables come together it makes for a tasty sub for my taste. My favorite is the Italian special which today’s review is based on. My Italian today was on point as usual with the fresh bread and tasty fillings, I got exactly what I expected and why they are still in the number 2 spot for a chain.
I do like the chain but I will admit that I don’t get to them much these days but I will never have a problem choosing a Cousins because I like the product.

I am not a big fan of Fast food anymore but we had nothing to eat in the house so we decided to order out. The ordering was easy, I got there at the stated time, and the food was ready. Got to love them cheese stakes.

Got there at 9:58. They saw me outside but didn’t want to open 2 minutes early. Fine. Waited 2 minutes and tried the door again. Still locked. They waited until I got in my car to leave to come unlock the door. Never again.

Don’t bother to call your order in ahead of time. They will never have it ready. I call it in every time and still wait 10 minutes for my food. Imagine if I didn’t call it in. Slow, inefficient service!

Had a craving for the unique flavor of Cousins so I went to pick up some dinner. I decided to try the «Click and Eat» online ordering, and I’m a fan. I sent in the order about 6:52 and paid for it online. They said it would be ready at 7:22, I got there at 7:19, told the lady I was there for my pickup and at 7:20 she was handing me my bag.
The food here is always great, the employees are nice and the store is clean. My only real complaint about this location is the parking lot always seems to be full and packed tight, but it usually doesn’t take long for a spot to open up in this strip mall. Overall a very pleasant and convenient visit.

This place is close to work and when the bread craving comes it’s our place to go. The restaurant is always clean, staff is always friendly and THEY ALWAYS GET OUR SPECIAL ORDERS RIGHT! That is HUGE for me! Nothing irritates me more than getting back to the office with lunch and having it wrong. Lately with the combo meals a free cookie is included which is nice… I can never get enough peanut butter cookies!
Cousins in general I have found does not take Discover card.

I was first introduced to Cousin’s subs in 1995ish. The first thing I noticed about their subs was the flavor and ingredients seemed to be quite a bit more tasty than other sub franchises.
I have frequented this particular location quite often — finding the same to be true. The subs have great flavor, they are timely in preparing the food, and the staff always seems to have an upbeat attitude and ready to get your food to you quickly!
When it comes to subs, you have a lot of choices these days. All things being equal, I would eat here more often than the other places.
