There is something there for everyone. The shows are top notch, and there isn’t a bad seat in the theatre.

I was so excited to hear the DSO at the Berman Center for Performing Arts on July 17th. A part if the JCC, it’s very attractive inside and out. The seating in the auditorium, however, is cramped and rickety, probably so it can be removed as needed.? This was tolerable, but the lack of air conditioning was NOTACCEPTABLE! It had to be at least 85 – 90 degrees inside — there was no circulation– and the DSO concert was, sadly, almost unbearable. It was impossible to focus on the exquisite playing because it was so incredibly hot. At intermission, somebody must have complained because there were small wisps of cool air moving. However, it was too little, too late. The place was packed and it barely made a difference. Dear Berman Center– if you’re going to plan to have inside performances in the summer, you need to turn the AC on ½ day BEFORE the event. I probably won’t be back.
