I decided to give this place a try after calling several local massage parlors for a last minute service. Came across Touch of Europe’s website… prices weren’t outrageous so I decided why not? Well I definitely will not be returning. Let’s start with pros. I have to give the place credit for A. Getting me in at the last minute and B. A clean, friendly environment. The receptionist and the woman who took me back for my services were very personable. However… I saw on their website that they offer a mud bath. It’s 60 $ and the picture on the website gave me the idea that id be lounging in a large, luxurious tub relaxing during my mud bath. Wrong. I was taken back into one of the«bath» rooms and seriously thought the lady was joking when she pointed to the tub my mud bath would be taking place in. The tub was significantly smaller than my standard sized tub at home. I’m 5’8 and thought, «how in the hell is this going to work?» The staff left the room, explained that she’d leave me and allow me to soak for 15 minutes.(I didn’t realize it would be so short, but in the spa’s defense I’ve never had a mud bath before so maybe this is typical.) Anyway, I strip down, step into the tub and it is SCORCHING hot. Like unbearable hot. I turn on the cold water for a few minutes to try and help the situation. Before I’m done cooking down the water, staff comes back, knocks on the door and says I have 5 minutes left. I wasn’t even in the tub yet. I explained this and she said she’d come back in 10 – 15 mins. Ok so I’m laying in the tub, barely submerged in this«bath» thinking there is absolutely no way this is worth 60 $… Very, very disappointing. Next was my massage…60 minute Swedish. I explained I like a pressure somewhere between a Swedish and deep tissue to the masseuse. She proceeded to give me the weakest massage in the history of massages. It was literally just having someone rubbing lotion on my skin for an hour. I told her she could increase the pressure at one point but the massage continued in a disappointing fashion. I would definitely not recommend this facility. Not worth it and there are several other spas in the area that provide excellent services. Very disappointed in my experience here, especially since a spa day is a real luxury for me.

My husband and I just left from a couples massage and I’m happy to share that we were both very happy with our services by Jayne and Trisha. In the market for a new spa, my hubs and I have been cautiously looking for a new«go to» place. Unfortunately this area has recently been infiltrated with low-end, cheap, crappy massage places with ill-trained therapist … But Touch of Europe is none of these. Although we were a little worried as it is in a strip-mall, our worries quickly dissipated as we were taken in back. The space is much larger than it appeared. The rooms must well built(either sound proofed or well insulated) because there was ZERO outside noise. For the quality of service, the prices are just right. We WILL be back. Eager to try the nails, facials and salt room next!!!

I used the Groupon coupon for what I thought was going to be a great deal on an afternoon of relaxation. Unfortunately my service started 15 minutes late and the woman rushed through it, leaving me with 45 minutes of a 60 minute massage. While everyone was friendly and nice, there was no refund or apology even after I complained. Definitely not going back here.
