Randazzo’s Clam Bar

Service was good. Bathroom clean. But there was a hair in the baked potato. Wait staff was nice. Food was good other than the potato. One more thing the restaurant was chilly.

This place was the worst. I use to go to the one in bk all the time.
The place was completely empty, the girls cared more about hanging w the boss at the bar than anything else.
The food was utterly horrible. My mussels were cold on the outside and a little warm on inside. They had a special today and it was the Angus burger, seafood spot and get a hamburger, what the heck. Worst mistake ever. The bun it was served on was a mcdonalds bun. I mentioned to them how cheap it was and if they had anything else… Of course they did not. I couldn’t force myself to eat it. I mentioned to the guy taking the money about it and he got nasty, come to find out he is the owner. I said how do i know your the owner?
He never introduced himself knowing there was an issue. He got angry and basically told me he is done talking to me, to leave. I never got nasty, all i said was the buns suck. You have a nice burger and put it on a mcdonalds bun. He said he will not buy anything better.
This place sucks for service, hospitality, professionalism and their food!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food here. However, to compete with all the other great restaurants on the North Shore even Forest Ave for that matter their prices are too high. If they want people to return they need to slash their prices.

The food was great but unfortunately I’m giving this place a 3 star rating for the service. I’ve never been to place that had such inattentive service. I’m not finicky with having high quality service but when you have the waitress come to your table only every 30 minutes, to take your food order, drink order, dessert order. It’s kind of unfortunate. It also didn’t help that she kept smelling like cigarettes every time she returned. The bus boy thankfully was our savior for the night because he gave us plates to eat our family style dinner off of. Overall, this place could have made way more money off of our table because we were willing to have a fun night with drinks flowing. But the lack of service had us itching to leave.
Definitely not going back here again.

First time coming here with the family. Food and service was great– food came out fast. Staff is friendly, attentive and very accommodating. Highly recommend the calamari and steamers– both delish! A lot of options to reach out to whatever you’re craving. Will definitely be returning!

What a great improvement, full house all tables where occupied clam bar was filled. Very nice dinner tonight.
Our food came out on time an very hot.
My Server Samantha is the best she works really hard. Very great server I just want to put her in my bag an bring her home with me. She’s so nice an goes above and beyond to make our dinner time great.
The food improved the service improved the food runners are super fast an on top of everything even if it’s one empty plate they will take it an constantly refill your glass up.

We had New Years Day Dinner here, first time trying Randazzos here in Staten Island. The service was fast and friendly. The calamarra and baked clams were great along with the linguine with white clam sauce! Hoever the portions were smaller. Also the chicken franchase (missing the mushrooms) was very good and a nice sized portion. Prices were in the middle. We spent $ 87 including tip. They need to toast the bread! And not take my clam juices after I’m finished with the clams! LOL But I would go back again.

My family and I visited on New Year’s Day. We were promptly seated and served. The staff was very nice and knowledgable. The fried calamari was good. The cherry stone clams were excellent. For the main entrée, the lobster roll, linguini with clams and tilapia were very good. The only item they did not have (I asked for) was an expresso. They do not have the machine yet.
Overall, my dining experience was very good. I’ll definitely patronize again and try other dishes.

Had high hopes food was ok portions are very small (I got the spaghetti and white clam sauce) bowl was supper small and sauce had no taste literally had to pack on the grated cheese just to make a taste. Servers were very nice prices are very high for the food they are serving

Service and food was excellent, except for the hair in my stuffed shrimp. Waitress was apologetic and only took 10% off. Don’t think I’m going back

I absolutely don’t know which was worse the food or the service. When we walked in automatically the waitress made us feel like we were a burden. We ordered baked clams and fried calamari as appetizers, (I am personally allergic to calms but my friends seemed to enjoy it)… Until we found hair baked into the clam. Fried calamari was fried nicely and not greasy, the sauce served with it had absolutely no taste. The shrimp cocktail tasted like it was sitting in their fridge since earlier this week. For entrees 5 out of the 7 of us ordered the chicken francese because of how delicious it is at their Brooklyn location. They may have the same name but they do not have the same cooks. The sauce on the chicken francese was like water and zero lemon flavor. $ 16 for a prefrozen meal.
Let’s talk about their service:
This waitress has to be a friend of the owner or something because there is no other way I can see anyone keeping a server like this. I can let go the lack of smiling, slightly pretentious attitude but what I don’t understand how an empty restaurant can have the worlds slowest service. She seemed to be doing anything but being present in the dining room. We spent more time waiting for things than actually eating.
This honestly explains why the restaurant was empty on a Sunday night. Next time I’ll pay the toll if I was good food.
Side note: I am currently writing this review with a massive stomach ache. NEVER AGIAN!

Amazing seafood! Awesome sauce. Shrimp Randazzo is a butter wine sauce deliciousness. Neighborhood has a lot of old places, they don’t like competition and write bad reviews. Don’t believe them

This is our third time visiting randazzos and the food is delicious. Every plate we ordered so far has been so tasty. I even called to see if they sell the vodka sauce… it was the best! We will definitely be back

You don’t defrost frozen fish and then charge fresh fish prices– it doesn’t work like that. My waitress was the only good part about our experience. Spent $ 100 for frozen fish and old food. Extremely disappointed.

I had a good experience here. Loved that it was a family place. Went there with my 4 year old son. He loved the calamari. I loved the clams. The mussels were a little dry and sauce a little spicy but I still enjoyed it. The service was good. The waitress was attentive and sweet. Overall I thought the place was fine.

Small portions, big prices. As much as I would have liked a neighborhood location with good seafood I was very disappointed. Baked clams had some with a strong taste, lobster roll could have used more lobster for the$ 21.95 price. New England fish chowder was very good but it really was a clam chowder, Manhatten clam chowder not great, just thick. And that soft shell crab sandwich brought a medium slightly over-​fried crab for 18.00.
I was looking forward to the grilled vegetables which were listed as one of the accompaniments for the sandwich instead of French fries or fried zucchini or baked potato BUT they have already CROSSED IT OUT on the menus. Treating us as second best on this island does not bode well for success for them. Nucci’s has them beat, especially with their flavorful baked clams.
Not going back. Too bad. Rating…½ of 1 star.

Brand new here I. Staten Island, they didn’t have their liquor license yet so they offered me free wine which wasn’t bad.
The food was great, a little pricey, but very good.
The staff was friendly and accommodating,
The Décor was nice except they had the upper bright (hallway) lights on, so I didn’t feel like I was having a romantic dinner with my wife, I felt like I was in a train station.
Aside from that I will return!

Walked in and was greeted by a young disjointed staff
Am very disappointed paid $ 83.00 for a very chewy calamari and a blackened tuna that I was very disappointed with. At least my husband’s salmon was ok .
Don’t know what was worse that it was his birthday or that we had to run home because I got sick He’s on way to drugstore to get me imodium Poor guy what a birthday

Very nicely and enthusiastically greeted … Ordered shrimp cocktail and cherrystone clams as an appetizer … They were on point …

Lobsters were horrific… The stuffing was flaky and tasteless and the lobsters were way overdone and tasteless… The stuffing was flaky and tasteless … The lobsters were over done both my wife and I could not believe that the bill for this place came to 140 bucks …
Would not do it again …

Ok the «lobster roll» smh I just want to say 1 on their website it’s on a split hot dog bun 2 the lobster meat was so DRY! I had to put mayo on it when I got home I’m so disappointed & last I can’t believe I paid $ 22 for this sandwich but more so I am upset in my order I paid a total of $ 63+ dollars & the only thing I can say out of the whole order the only thing I can say is the New England clam chowder was alright but that was it just a huge letdown
