Great home style food. Huge portions. Come when you feel like some of «mom’s cooking» but mom isn’t around! We left very full and are taking home enough for dinner tomorrow. We enjoyed the boxty appetizer(delicious and huge!) and the meatloaf dinner. Local beef, 100% grass fed, mashed potatoes, total comfort food! Haymakers is BYOB for dinner, beer/wine only. Great service too!

So apparently«Masons» is another name for Haymakers?(According to another review here) I’m a little confused, but what in the sleepy town of West Brookfield, Mass is not confusing? Haymakers is a lovely little place for breakfast. I believe their hours are limited, so watch out for that. We stayed in this town for a few days for a wedding and found ourselves at Haymakers on a couple occasions. There’s not much else around for a non-fast food breakfast, but the service and food are both great. The restaurant is very no frills and things seem on the older side(I am under the impression they hand wash all of their dishes) but they’ll make pretty much any breakfast food you want and serve it with a smile. Portions are large.

First The take-out menu has them calling the place Haymaker’s Grille, so beware of the name issue. This is a dive, but one well worth jumping off the board for! On my first experience I almost left, seriously I almost said I wasn’t hngry and left because it’s so much of a dive! I am soooooo glad i didn’t, I’ve been back 5 – 6 times and each time it gets better! Best«no frills» breakfast hands down with huge portions and a great eclectic selection that will surprise the living hell outta ya. Various types of benedict, pancakes & French toast. Hold on to your pants because after you walk outta Mason’s you’ll have a button or two to loosen! excellent … i wish I could give it 5 stars but it’s a dive, and one of the best ever! very friendly staff too! cash only! and breakfst/lunch as they close at 1:30−2 pm depending on how busy they are.

I’m surprised there aren’t other reviews of this place. Must be because the locals who eat there have no reason to Unilocal about it. I’ve stopped here, twice with the same friend, while riding through town on our bikes and we’ve been very satisfied both times. No frills but it’s a good bathroom stop, good coffee and the food is good. I had a turkey club a couple of Sundays ago and it, along with the fresh French fries, was delicious. Nice woman workin’ the counter and tables, too.
