Always a long line, they always have one barista making drinks with 2 people on registers &2 making sandwiches. In the busy rush of the morning, that’s not okay. I waited today over 20 minutes for my drink with about 7 people ahead of me. They let a girl who was 3 people behind me get her drink first as she was in a rush(aren’t we all? I had to be at work!) I finally got my drink, tall skinny caramel macchiato, and ran to work. I got to work & took a sip, as dodging the cars on passaic ave is not ideal with coffee, and it’s all skim milk! I’m so mad, after I now have to go back to get a new cup on the house for their mistake, definitely never visiting this location again!

I enjoy coming to this Starbucks out of many others. First off there is additional tables and space unlike most in NYC or metro areas. The staff is pretty friendly and actually remember your orders. I like coming here every once in a while and catching up on some work. The parking lot is a bit of a pain in the ass and some park in the shoprite lot instead. Don’t forget free refills if you are gold members with the app.

Nice staff! Clean and great customer service! Best thing about it is a private parking lot! But would have loved more if this place has a drive thru! Overall good experience

Literally, the slowest Starbucks of all time. I’m a regular at Starbucks all over the United States. This is by far the slowest location I’ve been to and that’s including my frequent visits in southern California.#getnewmanagement

I usually get the chia tea or green tea. So delicious, highly recommend if you are a tea drinker! Awesome staff. I also order through the app, so easy and staff is always accurate with my order!

I work near this location so I chose to visit on lunch using the mobile order. The barista didn’t seem too excited about being on bar because his facial expressions and body movement said enough. He wasn’t announcing names nor was he announcing the beverage he was handing off. I waited 10 minutes in the store for a latte that wasn’t made correctly and was supposed to be ready by the time I arrived. The store wasn’t busy otherwise I would’ve understood having to wait. A woman(I didn’t catch her name) remade my drink and apologized for the inconvenience. I appreciated her effort but I’ve never experienced a barista with such attitude.

Very disappointed. Poor service rude baristas. Poor food handling. Not the standard I’m use at Starbucks. Please make improvements

I didn’t ask to review Starbucks, it was in my feed when I went to Unilocal.Starbucks is awesome when there are no other choices, for example, if you are in certain cities. But Philly has lots of excellent coffee houses and roasters, e.g., Green Street, La Colombe, Old City coffee. Next to those, Starbucks is third rate.

The store is very spacious. Seems like people come here to hang out, but you can easily study or work there. Plenty of seating spaces along with lounge chairs. there plenty of outlets, so you charge your devices. Baristas are not super quick but very friendly!

Clean comfortable environment-long wait for a simple iced tea– staff socializing amongst themselves instead of focusing on customers

This is a beautiful, large store with lots of space, comfy seating, and some great, well stocked bookshelves. The drinks and food are as good as any Starbucks. However, it has got to be the slowest store I have ever been in. After a few weeks of visiting consistently, I have never waited less than 5 minutes for a very simple espresso drink. It’s not that they’re understaffed because there have never been fewer than 4 baristas. I can only conclude they must have very poor management and/or training. If you’re in a rush, go elsewhere.

This was my first time at this Starbucks in a long while, and the firm has done a very nice job of updating the furniture in here — making this truly a comfortable spot in which to hang out while sipping your Café Mocha, and maybe doing a little work, or «swiping» on Tinder. The staff here was very friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic. Someone did a very good job of hiring and training here. This location typifies why Starbucks has become such a phenomenal success. 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon, and the place is completely packed, with a line at the counter at least 6 people long. My only gripe is that with all the folks on their laptops here, the WiFi seems a it overloaded(#whyIdon’tuseAT&T). Comfy leather couches & tables perfect for working or reading. Nice!

3 stars for Starbucks products etc. 2 stars for the service here. Staff is nice and pleasant but shows little urgency or attention to moving customers through quickly. They spend too much time chatting with the locals. Plus, it is not as clean as most Starbucks frequent. you are in the area, pass this one, and go to the Starbucks in Roseland. they are on top of their game there.

The atmosphere is nice though it always seems crowded because of the small size and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit. I tried studying there on a week night after the library closed and the music was a little loud so it was hard to concentrate. though arguably most people don’t go there to study. The service was a little slow though the staff was friendly. I personally prefer DD because I get a bigger coffee for a lower price and it’s more«in and out» if you’re on the go!

Been here a few dozen times but am not regular. I like the conveinent location and can get a typical Starbuck coffee fix. –Pros…usual fare. Good coffee, relatively quick service. –Cons…My husband gets the Frappucinos and they are inconsistently preppared(Chocolate Chip). Parking is hit or miss.

This location went through renovations which was a major upgrade. They added some lounge chairs, a sofa, and some wood table high tops. On weekday nights and weekends however, there’s still not enough room to chill out here even though I know the layout would allow better space planning to accommodate more people. This location is kept very clean and the self-serve area is stocked. The staff likes to go above and beyond for their«regulars»…i.e. have their orders ready for them as soon as they see them walk through the door. This has pros and cons. One con which I experienced this morning. I stood at the front of the line for a couple of minutes(which can seem like an hour in a Starbucks) waiting for someone to take my order. I realized that three employees were getting drinks ready for guys that walked in after me. If I was running late I would’ve been a bit annoyed but I took a patient yogi breath and waited for my turn to feed my coffee addiction.

This is one busy Starbucks! I’d even put it head to head with some of the NYC locations. That being said, it’s got some nice couches, tables, and chairs. The highlight has to be the three bookshelves they have, where you can«take a book, leave a book.» I’ve done it more than a few times! As others have mentioned, cons include possible long lines, hard to find a seat sometimes, and parking. Parking in Shop Rite as David G. suggested is a good idea. I haven’t really experienced any bad staff or management yet, but maybe I’ve been lucky.

It’s a Starbucks. Puppies like belly rubs. Now Drew is a fan of D&D he is a gnome with an archery ability. I think this Starbucks may flip him to the dark side. I love the staff. Very nice. Also Starbucks seems to find new odd things to sell. Cheese balls from space. I like the Gouda ones myself.

I feel like the recent updated remodel of this location deserves my first updated review! In the last 6 months, this Starbucks has overtaken all others as my favorite go-to location. It’s my home base. The baristas are delightfully friendly, always smiling & oh-so-good at making my(embarrassingly) complicated drink of choice. Last month, I noticed the beginnings of their remodel. Today, I stepped into a calm coffee oasis! Seriously, my stress level dropped 3 points when I walked through those glass doors. The highlight is three new raised tables, built into three bookcases along the wall, and fitted with comfortable metal chairs. The old comfy leather couch was replaced by a new couch with sleek modern lines, across from a pair of matching lounge chairs. Overall, the seating has at least doubled — if not more — yet the space feels more open. Even the main bar area has been updated and refreshed. The back wall has a new splash of wallpaper, and the counter looks more earthy with wood accents. When I complimented the barista on the new look, she said, «Isn’t it beautiful? It feels so fresh in here.» I couldn’t agree more.
