This is a great diner right across the street from the(new) courthouse in West Chester! It has the usual diner offerings like hamburgers, sandwiches, breakfast foods… and for a little twist, some Asian/Thai food as well! The prices are reasonable– The food is very good– The service is very attentive. The portions are ample. It’s clean and attractively decorated. What more do you need? The last time I was there I had the Vietnamese noodle salad. I asked for no bean sprouts on it. It was delicious and I would definitely get it again. The music is soothing, yet if one listens closely, one might get a chuckle out of it:) Our waitress offered to put our ice teas into travel cups and even refilled them! Highly recommended!

What a find! I have been driving by this place almost daily but never bothered to even look at the menu. I found the description a bit strange. I think the sign says Asian American food. I had jury duty across the street so I decided to try it for lunch. For lunch, they have numerous Thai options(one of my favorite cuisines), American style sandwiches and fries and a cute espresso bar. I ordered the pad see ew, it was DELICIOUS! The best I’ve had in a very long time. It was so good I went back 2 days later. I tried the pad Thai and basil rice. Also very, very good. Best Thai by far in this area! My husband tried the chicken sandwich and bbq wrap. Both very good. They also serve breakfast. Prices are reasonable and fair too. Only downside is they close before dinner most days.

sat down at a booth for breakfast and there were about 15 ants on the table. Told our waitress, who didn’t even say sorry, and we moved to another booth. No ants that time. Food was well priced but my first visit was ruined knowing that even by 11 a.m. They don’t clean or look at the tables…

I am obsessed with this place. They offer an array of delicious coffee beverages, teas, and smoothies. With regard to the food, you can get the best of both worlds: breakfast and Asian fusion. Everything is super tasty and flavorful. The atmosphere is charming, and the staff is wonderful!

Good food. Terrible service. Food took 45 minutes to 1 hour for table of 8 to all be served. Only 1 waitress who could not keep up with taking care of the customers. Won’t be wasting my lunch hour here again.

The owner is so nice and always treats me so well. Great food whether it is from the truck or in the restaurant. Only place in WC where you can get bubble tea. Also a great variety of food. Absolutely love this place, a hidden gem.

Easily one of the coolest, most refreshing dining experiences in West Chester. Quaint dining area with an excellent variety and really solid dishes across the board. One of my favorites!

I’ve eaten there 5 times now for both lunch and dinner. Each time they are consistently delicious with attentive and friendly service. Seafood Drunken Noodles I had last night. Wow! All of the appetizers are super! Everything is great. Low key AND it’s a BYOB! Great job, guys!

We’ve been here a number of times now and keep going back because we’ve always enjoyed our meals! Had the Thai Basil Fried Rice, with chicken and it was delicious, and my wife had the Seafood Drunken Noodles, which was delicious as well. The Thai Meatball appetizer is highly recommended and the Summer Roll was great! They’ve got all sorts of coffee, Bubble Tea, and we haven’t between there for breakfast yet but looking forward to it. It’s BYOB, so stop on the way!

Went here with a friend for the first time today, and loved it! The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy. We ordered Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and a soup(which was huge by the way). The bubble teas they have are delicious! It was awesome, and we can’t wait to go back.

Really love this place. They have the best fried rice I have ever tasted. I have eaten at both their food truck location on west Chester university’s campus and their restaurant and both keep up the same high quality of food. Their cheeseburgers are also very good and their cheesesteaks aren’t bad for being outside of Philadelphia. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are in west Chester and looking for somewhere to eat. Also, I have eaten here several times and the service is not that bad as some people have stated in previous reviews.

I enjoyed the experience at Lunchbox. The interior is decorated in a homey, yet trendy style. The main dining area was definitely crowded on a Saturday afternoon, which is generally a good sign. Though our section was not super crowded, the server was a bit slow to our table. Like 5+ minutes. Fortunately I wasn’t in a hurry so this didn’t significantly hinder my enjoyment, though it’s something to note. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken, which I feel is the canary in the goldmine for solid Thai. They do it quite well. This dish had a complex arrangement or herbal, sweet, and savory flavors. It also balanced out the mouthfeel nicely with soft yet firm rice noodles complemented with stringy radish and peanuts for a crisp finish on the palate. I very much enjoyed this meal and I recommend you check these guys out.

It was my first visit and I was there for breakfast. Decided to check out this spot due to high reviews. Casual nice atmosphere. I got an omelette with spinach & feta. It was just OK nothing to write home about. Home fries that came with it so so. My husband got Denver omelette and was underwhelmed as well. Toast was cheap generic one. Service was friendly. I will give them probably another try for lunch to see that it was a «fluke». Will update then.

I have to drop a star for inconsistency. I order take out quite frequently because the food is spectacular. Unfortunately my simple orders have been altered as of late. The portion size tends to differ and quite often an ingredient is missing. Also, I have been for breakfast on a weekend twice and the service left a lot to be desired. Slow and steady only wins with turtles. So my darling lunchbox while I still adore you, I must take one star away.

My husband and I ate here twice, everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. They offer the classic diner options, but they also have their own Thai and Mexican-influenced items as well. Make sure to try the Monte Cristo and the Asian burritos. The service was excellent and the owner is very friendly. It’s a tiny little diner in the borough and has a cozy, laid back feel. It’s not overcrowded and has comfortable seating.

This is my first time writing a review for the Lunchbox. But it is not the first time I enjoy their scrumptious and delicious plates. My friend and I(co-workers) frequently have lunch in the new and trendy spot. The food is always fresh with a nice presentation. Today I ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with a side order of spring rolls. The pineapple gave the dish a burst of sweetness that paired well the saltiness of a typical fried rice dish. The vegetables in the rice are cooked perfectly to the point of a crisp snap when you eat. My co worker ordered the Pad Thai, she too was pleased by here choice. So, the lunchbox is a great option for either breakfast or lunch. It’s a can’t miss…
