Went here for dinner with a girlfriend recently. Hard to find a healthy-low cholesterol– choice, but I settled on the black bean burger with avocado, no cheese, no sauce. It was good. This place seems to offer high caloric content for the money. Not my cup of tea, in general.

We were looking for a later night bite on a Sunday and the only place we could find open after 10pm was TGI’s. Hadnt been to one in ages so tried it out. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and the waiter was great about keeping the refills coming. We both ordered the new Stack burgers. I had the smoke and he had the all american. Both we good and pretty large. My only complaint is I was very surprised at the lack of french fries that came with it. VERY small portion for the price. Otherwise place was clean, service was good. Just your run of the mill chain restaurant.

Had one of my best Friday’s experiences ever Monday evening(Labor Day) Ironically, it started out a little sour. It wasn’t busy. We were seated promptly and our drink order taken. Then… nothing happened for about 20 minutes. I’m a very good judge of time. We certainly were not in a hurry, but many people would have gotten up and left at this point. My wife even remarked(but probably wasn’t overheard) that maybe we should leave and go across the road to Fricker’s for some 35 cent wings. Finally another server came and apologized for the lengthy delay and took our order, explaining that another party had tied up our server in the back for some reason I don’t recall. We each elected to get the 12.00 revolving appetizer special(you can get a different app with each round.) I ordered the sriracha potato skins, wife got the boneless wings. A few minutes later, our original server(Christy) came and apologized profusely for the delay. Then we were told that the kitchen couldn’t make any pulled chicken, so I decided on the loaded potato skins. Our apps arrived a few minutes later and were great. Server told us that because of the delay and the lack of pulled chicken, we would only be charged for one Endless App – cool ! We had 3 more plates, 5 appetizers altogether(dumplings, tostadas and garlic/basil flatbread), and all were good(dumplings were my favorite.) Then, another nice surprise. Because we were so nice and patient with them, the manager agreed to comp both of us with a free dessert-I had the whiskey cake and wife had caramel cake. We were both pretty stuffed at this point. So the bill for everything, instead of about 45.00, was under 20.00. I applaud the servers and management for going the extra mile here to make us happy. We will certainly be back.

This location has always been hit or miss in past visits(burnt soup, cold food, other issues) but today really ticked me off! Ordered off the ‘2 for $ 16′ menu and my wife got a bowl of soup(White Cheddar Broccoli Cheese). Mine was Spinach Tuscan Dip, for us to share, and the Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta. Pasta is normally $ 13.90 so the $ 9 Dip was just $ 2. Pretty good deal! Got the dip and by the time we finished it, both of us were wondering why the main entrees were taking so long. So the pasta and soup come out… First glance, I tell my wife that the pasta had been done, cooled off, and run back through the heater(shrimp burnt and a crusty sauce over the top of the dish). Waiter comes to ask how thing are, I mention this and he admits that is what happened! So he takes it away to have it remade. Comes out and, complete honesty, it’s really good. As far as I’m concerned, if there’s a problem, and you fix it, then no harm, no foul. Then the crap started happening. On duty manager comes over to say my meal is on the house AND gave us a $ 10 card for our next visit. Wouldn’t have asked for anything because they fixed it but OK! The bill arrives and my meal is NOT reversed off. I mention it to the waiter and he goes to talk with the manager. She took off the ‘bad’ meal but hadn’t reversed the second charge for remaking the meal. Fine, I understand how IT systems work and can fully understand the necessity for re-entering the order. The second entry gets reversed and I get the new bill. As expected, my pasta is reversed for $ 13.90. HOWEVER, the $ 2 Dip(because of the special) is now $ 9!!!(which she had discounted $ 3). I went to talk with the manager. I said that I would pay the bill but it was complete crap to pull a bait-and-switch like that! I told her that I would never have ordered the dip for either $ 9OR $ 6. She asked me to wait and she would take it off but I cut her off to say that I told her I would pay it but this was crap and I would NEVER return to the restaurant again. BEWARE if you go to this location…

All you can eat apps … So full. You’re not allowed to mix up which apps you want, so if you get cheese sticks you’re stuck eating a boat load of cheese sticks. But you will be waiting ages in between your orders, whatever. The cheese sticks are actually really good. Service was decent and they made a lot of good dad jokes.

Very disappointing. This restaurant used to be pretty good but the last three times I have been I have received bad service and the last time I came, food poisoning. I also ordered bruschetta pasta and got spaghetti with no tomatoes. The food and service has gone downhill lately and I’m sad to say we will not be back.

Whenever we go to this this TGIF we are treated so well, like a neighborhood regular, whether it’s been a long time between visits or not. The wait staff is friendly and thorough in their service, especially Clare. Whenever we are seated in her area, she is professional, attentive and sweet. The food is fabulous. I have special dietary needs and those needs are always accommodated. Great job Fridays!

Used to love Friday’a but they’ve really gone down hill. Service is terrible, wait is long and the food is at best mediocre. The server even brought me a blue moon and tried to convince me it was a Sam Adams. I won’t be coming back again.

Yesterday was the best Christmas me and my family have had in 6 years. See, it was the first time in 6 years that we were all together, since some of us have lived out of the country. My sister joined me at my house for Christmas. She is a TGI Fridays server. She asked to have Christmas off so she could spend it with the family. She thought that years of working at Fridays would warrant that. Not only did Fridays deny her request to have off, they fired her when she choose to value family over a work day, when she called them to let them know she would not, under any circumstance miss seeing her family on Christmas. Unfortunately, I will no longer support Fridays with my business since they obviously don’t value family or their hard working employees. My sister has an impeccable work ethic and record with this company. I’m sure I’ll enjoy supporting the new restaurant she will be working at soon, wherever that may be.

Nice chilly evening with a group of 8 at about 7:30 p.m. Easy to get a table at that time, but near the window, the temperature stayed cold. Appetizers of spinach dip and warm tortilla chips were yummy. Drinks were served and refilled as needed by the waitress. Each of us ordered a variety of american fare such as Jack Daniels chicken, hamburgers fries, mozzarella tomato salad, chicken kabobs with rice and vegetables were excellent. I ordered a cajan pasta that came to me with the rest of the orders, minus any vegetables. Once informed, the waitress took my plate and added the option of multiple vegetables to be added. When the food was finally returned, there were enough vegetables added to my plate that I had 2 days of leftovers. Fattening but yummy cheese sauce with a bit of a kick. The manager was more than gracious and the waitress a delight.

Just a short review… was here after work on Friday. Went straight to the bar. Had the most awesome waitress. First, it wears on me when I hit a bar and the waitstaff is clueless about the available beer. Tonight I was surprised. She, the one for whom I know not her name, had brilliant knowledge of the beer on tap, all of them. I’m talking description of appearance and flavor. And was able to contrast and compare one to another. She won me over for sure with her ability to accurately describe my favorite drink. Or maybe it was her black spectacles. Either way, I’ll go back to TGIF on cox rd. Oh, 4 and not five stars because Fridays doesn’t have a double IPA.

Went there for Dinner on Sunday night. Bad idea. Ordered steak and grilled shrimp. I have never seen a restaurant serve grilled shrimp butterflied with the shell on. Almost impossible to eat since you have to pick the shell off. Also, where does TGI Friday’s get it Caesar salad dressing now days. Taste like lemons with oil. Very disappointing meal.

I needed to get out of the house after a long day at work… so I decided to go here with the wifey for a late night snack and beer. If you live in the West Chester area it’s a great place if you don’t want to go to one of the crowded sports bars. After 10PM they have beer specials at the bar and a $ 5 bar menu with their delicious wings and tasty spinach artichoke dip! There are a few other options too. And since it’s March Madness, they had some late games on their crisp HD flat screens. The service was average and staff friendly. Service was prompt at the bar, even though it was a little busy(but definitely not crowded). As a wing connoisseur, I approve. Granted they probably come frozen from Tyson, they are medium to large, meaty, lacking all the fat you find at some places and the hot sauce was tasty. You get a side of blue cheese or ranch and a few token celery sticks. But for $ 5, it’s definitely a deal. I think I got like 8 – 10. The Spinach artichoke dip was great, but can you really screw this up? We had a little too many crumbled chips, but that wasn’t a bid deal. At least they were not stale! They have three different sets of taps for beer, everything ranging from seasonal beers to the lights. Probably had 12 – 18 different beers on tap. I think the domestics are 2 bucks a pint, imports 3 or so bucks and specialty beers probably about 4? Overall, just what I needed to unwind after a long week at work! I’ll be back soon.
