Walgreens

I love coming here. This is the best Walgreens in all the places I have been. The pharmacy staff is wonderful. I really like Josh he is the best technician ever.
I love it here because most of the staff knows me by name and they are sure to welcome me with a smile. I do t have to say am here for a pick up as soon as they see me they know what am there fore line they have esp
The manager and staff are very friendly and since this Walgreens is bilingual it is easy for those coroners that speak any other language besides English
Five stars for this Walgreens for its service, friendliness and good customer service

This pharmacy is suddenly having some real difficulties. Perhaps a personnel change or ??? In the past I preferred this Walgreen’s which is on my way to and from my workplace. In the past couple of months I’ve noticed that the pharmacy isn’t doing well working with insurers, is having a hard time getting prescriptions filled promptly, and is messing up prescription ordering so that insurers refuse to refill prescriptions. This is not an «Obamacare» thing. It appears that some of the people working in the pharmacy may have communication difficulties and lack understanding of the avenues to follow in getting things processed. Hope they have a quick learning curve!

** EXCEPT FOR CERTAIN SALE ITEMS AND/​OR ‘LITERS’ (and Walgreen’s on occasion DOES have some nice sales), the following applies to this store:
— MOST (and I do mean MOST) of the items in this store are extremely OVERPRICED. From food items to household items to make-​up to snacks to their small section of toys to candy to Band-​aids to even cigarettes (and I do not smoke). Everything here you can find at Wal-​Mart or Target for MUCH LESS. I.e. Can of Easy Cheese at Walgreens: $ 5.79. Wal-​Mart/​Target/​Meijer: $ 3.50
(This «several dollar up-​marking’ on the prices applies to about 90% of the items in this store, UNLESS THE ITEMS ARE ON SALE).
— Pharmacy: Always busy, and lines up the wazoo. Not enough personnel back there to assist the influx of customers.
— Check-​out cash registers: Also usually backed up with long lines. Even though this location has two registers, you never see both lines open.
Overall — Walgreen’s is the type of store where you go if you need certain things in a pinch or an emergency (like if you are out in the middle of nowhere, and there are no other stores around) OR, unless there are certain sales here. Otherwise, there really is no reason to shop here when you can find almost anything here at half a dozen other stores for much cheaper. Walgreen’s overcharges just like gas stations do.

Sketchy characters by the door, but they had what I needed with no line. Meh.

Hey, it’s a Walgreens. They’re all pretty much the same, so nothing special here. I just like that this particular store is never busy. I walk in, get what I need, and I’m outta there in 5 minutes or less.
