The Skyline Club

Skyline is not for us but we want it to give it a shot because we are explorers. So the place is really big. They have a big dance floor. They have a live band which impressed us a lot because people dance all the time when the band sing. This is mostly for country music with random hip hop and $ 5 cover charge it’s a waste of money for us but we did enjoyed people watching.

All I’ve got to say is wow! Let me first say I’m from cali so it was a culture shock when I walked through those doors for the first time. Lol .this place is hilarious! I have so much fun every time I go… From the people missing their teeth to the amazing line dancing .to the random women hitting on you. I even saw a couple well in to their 70’s cuttin a rug on the dance floor! and don’t get me started on the mechanical bull! …this place has it all. The lady working the front is super friendly and they play all kinds of music. Drinks are priced accordingly. not expensive at all and you will find the most eclectic crowd ranging from the very young to the very old. This place is a fun country bar with lots of character… there is a cover which is usually pretty cheap, but the people watching alone is worth it!

CASH ONLY! ATM at the door. If you like old country bars then this is the place for you. It looks like a grand olé opery. I was waiting for Bert Reynolds to come walking in. This is a true Honky tonk. If you like cow boy hats and line dancing, then this is the place for you.

Skyline is fun when you make your own fun. They have insane drinks (Four Loko pitchers…) but it’s an ODD venue. Go in a group – this is not the place where you want to go alone. Don your cowboy boots and maybe even a Stetson, because you’ll meet others wearing them. Don’t be afraid to dance on the HUGE dancefloor. It’s pretty dirty and I’ve been told not to order the food, but you can definitely have a fun time.
