Attracted by rows upon rows of chocolatey looking things, i stumble inside the shop. greeted by two friendly employees, they asked if i would like a sample. I declined and one of them handed me a random one anyway… delicious. It may seem expensive at first, but think about it. it’s as much as you pay for froyo or a cup of boba, fancy cupcakes, and just a bit more than starbucks and ect. The ice cream selection. dulce de leche, lemon, pistachio, mascarpone and berry, vanilla, raspberry, chocolate, and more! They had an amazing array of ice cream bars… i wanted to try them all… They give out samples freely and one pair of friends came in, looked at stuff and then began to walk out and the guy was like«you’re not leaving without trying a sample!» so yeah. friendly employees! I tried the pistachio, raspberry, and mascarpone. all were terrific. the mascarpone was amazingly creamy. the pistachio had a rough texture, grounded up pistachios not too sweet just perfect. The raspberry was good but i didn’t like it as much. you have to check this place out… best gelato i’ve had so far… friendly service and a great product. i’ll be back.

I walked by here thinking that I’m finally going to commit myself to trying it, since i see it at the santa anita mall all of the time. parking: its the mall so unless its the holidays. you’ll have no problems locating a parking spot. likes: free samples for the gelato only! cute designs on the ice cream bars they have flavors that most places doesn’t [i.e. key lime, strawberry cheesecake, coffee, cookies and cream, etc.] dislikes: expensive prices no seats to just enjoy the gelato & ice cream bars limited options. –i honestly wouldn’t come back. it was really overpriced in my opinion. the ice cream bars weren’t even that big! i’m assuming that it’s expensive because of it’s design and the chocolate that they use. they charge as much as they do because their aren’t any other competitions in the mall quite like theirs. –my bf and i went xmas shopping so we had a bunch of bags lugging around. it wasn’t very convenient trying to make sure we don’t lose our belongings and trying to indulge in ice cream comfortably. staff were okay in customer service. ordered: 1) the strawberry cheesecake bar [$ 5.45]- verdict: it tastes like a layer of strawberry ice cream and vanilla with a small layer of graham cracker in between. didn’t really taste like strawberry cheesecake in my POV. the chocolate on the outside took away from strawberry cheesecake taste/flavor as well. 2) coffee bar [$ 5.45]- verdict: had coffee beans in them. tasted better than the strawberry cheesecake! still the chocolate took away the deliciousness of the coffee flavor. tip: cash and credit accepted. you can also purchase some bottled drinks. i ate it. i took pictures of it and i still felt unsatisfied and i’m still craving good ice cream. i say, if you have extra money and just like to try new things. then go for it! other than that, i rather get a good haagen dazs bar or take a trip to coldstone creamery.
