A typical Food4Less… I came here for pineapple juice, and left with fish sticks, Italian sweet cream creamer, apple juice, bell peppers, and carrots. Got more than I anticipated. All great items, but the bell peppers, like a majority of the broker peppers looked old. Even when I went home to slice them up, they weren’t very fresh. Prices are inexpensive here, hence why I came here. The store is somewhat organized. The store could be cleaner. Parking is very easy. There’s a hug parking lot, but not very many shoppers in the evening when I went.

I was glad to see that someone else had already posted a 5-​star about TAMMY — that’s what I’m doing here right now because this morning I went to this store for the first time, and I was a little confused at checkout because I didn’t know I had to bag my own stuff, but Tammy helped me feel calm and not rushed from start to finish, even though other customers came up in line behind me. She was friendly, jovial, courteous, and honestly, I think she should be on the Management team here, not just a checker. ;) Thank you, Tammy, for making my morning better! As for the store itself, very clean, well lit, and I appreciated the large displays of special sale items that were easy to get to. Good prices on just about everything — lower than the big W for sure. ;)

I’d like to thank the manager Sarah for allowing us to purchase Tylenol. However, I’d like to express my disappointment in having to plead minutes before 12 o’clock to get in. It’s sad that the employee attending the door had no sympathy for our situation and that the cashier was motioning her to close the doors on our face. To add insult to injury the cashier was bothered in checking me out. I find it sad and depressing that a neighborhood grocery store wouldn’t take compassion on residents that have frequented their store since its opening. We’ve lived in Covina for more than 37 years. This is very sad.

I’ve been going to this food 4 less since I was 7. I used to like going to this place but it’s pretty ghetto now compared to its competitors such as stater bros. I go here sometimes. The thing I don’t like about this place now is that the lines get out of control at times and they seem to be understaffed. Meaning they do not have another associate or two or three to open up a register to help the lines go down. Instead they do nothing and the wait time for the lines is just long and absurd and crazy. On the contrary the some of their things here are cheap. Like their candy.

I come here when I need to run out real quick to pick something up. It’s not our usual shopping spot, but it works in a pinch.
It’s a typical Food 4 Less, a bit disorganized and not super clean like you’d find at other grocery stores. But their prices are decent. Sometimes they have good sales.
I’ve never had an issue with staff, but I’ve also really never asked for any help.

That lady MARTHA! is very rude … Food 4 less especially west Covina plz train youR work with respect and manners to your customer you guys have the worst cashier’s at this store that are so rude.

Only reason im giving this place 5 stars is because of the cashier Tammy M. I shop here frequently and am lucky to get her as my cashier quite often. She is very pleasant and makes me and my daughter feel welcome every time! Rare to find that kind of genuine and courteous person in retail now a days. Overall everyone has been nice, and prices arw great! But thanks to Tammys service i keep coming back.

Bought some hot dog buns, and a day later it was moldy. Don’t even know if my family and I ate any of the mold, and I have a three year old. Tried to bring back to store and was denied because I didnt keep receipt, the lady manager was so rude… Tried to contact the manufacturer by email and they just sent me more questions… I used to shop here all the time, now I guess I need to go farther and shop at another market. I’ll tell all my family, friends and coworker to never shop at food4less or any of their sister stores.

I had the worst experience here Today. I will never go back to this store. I was Harrased by a customer, he threatened me, I told the store Manager Nancy and she did nothing to him because he’s a regular customer! I called corporate and they did nothing for me. Screw you Food for less I hate you.

With the aisles going in the opposite direction.
It’s weird.
Product nicely slopped all over the floor.
I always feel like I’m going to get mugged when I walk into this place.
and then having to bag your own groceries.
I don’t know. I guess a misfit store
