Bad service and bad attitude. The server Mary Ann spent 25 minutes shooting the shit with the last customer. Then when she finally got to me, she insisted that there is no such thing as a 2-item combo. So she charged me $ 17 for what would have been a dinner with two entrees because she charged me $ 7 for 1-piece chicken and rice meal and $ 9 for half a fish with rice meal. SHERIPPEDMEOFF. I am never going back there again.

Grill City is okay. It isn’t cook-to-order place. The food sits there, so it is best to come when it is freshly made. I come here, because the food isn’t processed. It is a better alternative than surrounding fast food joints. Nothing looks like it comes out of a can or packaged. Unlike, The nearby McDonald’s, Jack in the Box, and Carl’s Jr. Service: You get what you pay for. They are fast and respectful, but they aren’t going to be personable and sometimes they are not very friendly. Food: It’s okay.

This is one of my lowest rated reviews in awhile. I was frustrated. Came here for their BBQ Pork Skewers 4 for $ 10 deal as advertised on their huge menu boards. Let me tell you, the BBQ Pork Skewers are the fattiest, yet tastiest meat morsels in the Seafood City arena. It’s 60% jiggly fat, 30% meat, and 10% marinade sludge lol. Anyway, I’d give their skewers 4 stars but dang, their customer service is the crappiest I’ve seen from here. Generally the customer service is decent at Seafood City, I mean, most of the employees(especially the cashiers) will acknowledge and help you if you needed it. Even the Bubble Street peeps are more welcoming than Grill City. Aye… So this particular day, came in for their skewers, I saw a grill full and 2 left in the ready-to-go pan. I ordered the deal and the employee says there’s only 2 and it’s full price for 1 skewer at about $ 3 each. So then I asked about the ones on the grill and she rudely told me it was for a special order only and that I had to order in advance. Ok, so if all those pork skewers were for special order only, are you not going to refill the ones for the public at 2pm?! Apparently not because she kept telling me that each skewer was full price and the ones on the grill was a special order, all while rolling her eyes. Then, after seeing how upset my face was, she offered me the chicken ones. But, who wants chicken?! And the chicken skewer is cheaper than the pork skewer too, so how is the deal even relevant at this point? I was so upset, I just gave her the stank eye and left. That woman was so horrid, I hoped the skewers splatter her with grease and stank. What she should’ve done was offer me the last 2 skewers at deal price, apologize for the inconvenience, leave her ugly attitude in the breakroom, and resign from the foodservice industry and find a job as the Grinch who stole them pork skewers! HAHA, just kidding, but for reals… so not happy! –___–

Tried their isaw-isaw today… not worth it. They gotta do better than that. I rather drive to LA. Other bbqs are bleh too. They only thing I liked that I bought before was the bopis. The pork isaw still smells like, well, pork isaw but fresh.

It took a while for me to write this review. I have to think very hard on this as I really do not want to put anybody in trouble, just in case, they were only following orders. My first feel of this place was the food are somewhat expensive. And I know of someone/s who worked in Seafood City and was told that the BBQ was good. And they were right! BBQ were good, even it is a bit expensive, I think its worth it. But the other thing that I like in there — was the grilled squid. When I first taste it, it was good too and the innards of tomato/onions were ok in terms of how much was in it. But I was noticing that it seems the grilled squid were getting flatter and flatter and the innards were lesser and lesser as times goes on. Mind you, the grilled squid was not cheap too($ 7.95 a la carte) On 08/29/2014 Friday after work, I have this cravings for the grilled squid so I went to grill city. I asked the girl who was helping me to give me more innards(tomoto/onions…etc,) I can see on the side that there were some there). She told me — NO! BAWAL! I was smiling with disbelief! I ask here again, are you serious? I just can’t believe it. I was not asking for another piece as «dagdag» but just for some more of the kamatis sibuyas. Specially it was so few as I can see that the squid was very flat. I was just told its BAWAL! TOTHEMANAGEMENT!!! you really think that some additional tomato/onions will cost you that much??? you have those ingredients in your store. in my estimate, the«dagdag» that I was asking may cost about 10¢ or no more than 25¢. And never in my food shopping around this neighborhood, that my simple asking of «a little bit more of sauce or stuffing» was ever turned down. On another thought… why it was so few in it. If you put enough on it, I won’t be asking for more… The very special on a grill squid was the KamatisSibuyas in it. It adds to the taste and make it more delicious. When your employee told me that was BAWAL — I almost turn around and leave, but then I do not want to put your employee in trouble as she maybe just FOLLOWINGORDERS. You are not the only place that sells this. Though its the most convenient right now in this area. But I will survive not having it. As a matter of fact, I never returned to Grill City after that incident nor did I return and do any grocery shopping in Seafood City. I was fuming when I left Grill City that day to a point I called somebody to vent. And that grilled squid that I bought, did not taste good anymore. Somehow, I threw it away half eaten. Calling Mr. Carlos Go… I hope you read and react on this. We are all Filipinos. We are even Filipino/Chinese who wants to patronize our own… but your people make it very hard…

Oh my GOSH. I work in food service and this place is TERRIBLE with health codes. One of the men was cleaning the front glass of the food, and he completely TOUCHEDALLTHEBARBECUE, and went on as if it was nothing. You have to wear GLOVES. You can get used for causing sickness if someone ate that. If the glass wasn’t so close to the food that would be different. Next time I see that, I’m going to call someone. Also, they work so slow in a fast-paced environment. looks like they don’t wanna work there. They were completely ignoring customers that were trying to give feedback because they didn’t want to hear it. Also, they are completely disorganized. They go back and forth and cause traffic with the customers ordering. If you have rice at the beginning, maybe ask the customers. There’s no suggestions or greetings, had to ask to order. I watched them when they weren’t busy and it was even worse. They just stood around wondering what to do. This place needs some major training. I wish the workers had names so I can list them here. Never coming here again. Also recommending people not to. How disgusting that they touch the food and not care!

One of the best places to grab good grilled Filipino food. I personally love the barbecue(both pork and chicken), squid and sometimes the Chicken Inasal(hit or miss). The party platter is pretty bomb for any occasion!

Eh it’s mediocre Filipino food. I got the llempo(grilled pork belly) plate with some sisig bangus and the the portions are big the flavor isn’t very good. The sisig bangus tasted very dry and salty. The llempo was okay. And the sinigang soup was eh. I don’t think I would come again. Would rather have Toto’s Lechon which is nearby. The people are nice those so only reason why I didn’t give it one star.

Love the grill food here coz its always fresh. Dont ask me about the rest just the grill and you can hear saying positive things, grills only not anything else. Ignore what u see but not the grill. They have packages you can choose from that are quite affordable so when your around the area try to visit Grill City inside Seafood City and do the shopping at the same time. Two in one stop.

Hi guys, this place is an awesome place to go to for asian grills. Their ala carte foods are also delcious. They have catering too. I came here and ordered the: 1) Grilled Pork Satay This one tastes so good! Sweet and juicy. 2) Pork ear + Pork head + blood ala carte This one is good but not for everyone. 3) Kabucha + shrimp ala carte This one I like! 4) Grilled Fish This one is okay. 5) Taro leaves ala carte This one is the bomb too!

Grill City just opened up a few months ago. The food is very affordable and the portions are big. Sadly, the taste is not so great. My wife bought some of their Chicken BBQ and the marinade was nothing but vinegar. The chicken was so sour. The food is also very greasy, but that is expected from most places that sell Filipino food. The servers are polite and very patient.

Four HUGE sticks of Pork BBQ for $ 9 plus an order of rice for $ 1. The portions were so big that had to share it with my girl just to finish. The meat was tender and moist and covered with a sweet marinate and just the right amount of char. It had the perfect balance of meat and fat. It would be very nice if they can sell a BBQ Mix with different sticks of the different meats and garlic rice. Too bad that’s not the case. Credit cards are accepted. The ambience isn’t the nice since it’s located inside a supermarket. But, it is what it is and I enjoy how it satisfies my cravings for bbq without having to fire up a grill.

Grill city is not bad, it taste pretty good. I had breakfast and it was good. The tocino was really good, not too sweet or greasy. I also tried the beef tapa and the longansia, also good. The adobo rice was also good and not salty at all. Only reason why I wouldn’t give them 3 out of 5 stars is cause they take too long to wrap your food to go… Preparation takes way too long.

The service is very bad, I came to pickup a 2PM order and got out at 3PM. People here does not have any idea about time. They don’t even apologize.
