I came here in search for something to bring for a last minute potluck. Overwhelmed with options, a lady named Buena helped me find the perfect dish. From cakes, to cheese rolls, to even siomai(I didn’t know they had siomai) Since most potlucks held at work consist of pastry goods I decided that I’d go with the siomai instead. It was a big hit at the potluck, many of my coworkers enjoyed it and asked where I bought it and gladly informed them where it was from. I will definitely be back!

This place is so much better than the Goldilocks near it. Friendly customer service and reasonable prices for cakes and pastries. I got a walk-in Ube cake for about $ 20 for my wife’s birthday after Goldilocks rudely dismissed me over the phone. They even gave me a free cheese roll for my order and it was delicious! Check-in with the Unilocal app for a nice discount too, which they did honor.

This is at the old goldilocks bakery and this is no goldilocks! Their halo halo is average lacks dulce de leche. The cheese rolls are not as flavorful as goldilocks and they don’t have warm rolls… I miss the old flavor!

Hi Everyone, Just came back from this bakery in West Covina and was so pleased with the service there. Most especially from Tita Marylou Cruz who is the store manager. She was awesome and very efficient and creative in helping select and design a cake for my mom’s birthday. She was very patient and helpful in assuring that I will be satisfied with the cake that I was requesting to be custom made. I was having a hard time deciding exactly how I wanted it to look and she made the process enjoyable and stress free. If any of you need a custom made cake, go to this spot and ask for Marylou, you will not be dissapointed! Thanks Tita Marylou and Leelin bakery for an exceptional customer service. :)

I bought a choco mocha 8 inch cake and I’m disapointed about it. The cake tasted stale, dry and not fresh.

Super expensive for pastries and a total rip off! I got the mocha log roll… the entire middle of it was all the filling and no cake at all!!! Wtf?! Red Ribbon is so much better!

I always enjoyed the fresh pastillas and polvoron. I also ordered the sago’t gulaman, but very disappointed. The tapioca(sago) was not fully cooked/hard in the middle. The unfortunate thing is that this is not the first time. You would have thought that they will make sure to check if it’s cook or not. :(

Okay this is actually Goldilocks Bakery just with a new name. My grandmother found out and bought a mocha cake. Very delicious! So happy that they are actually Goldilocks. There are other yummy items to eat as well. The mocha cake is a little different, but I still love it!

So to be fair, the hubby, kids, and I finally got around to checking out Leelin Bakery and Café on Amar. It is inaccurate to say that this location which totes itself as a bakery and café, is actually just a bakery. We were sorely disappointed when we got there and saw that it was just a small, nay, hole in the wall that sells only baked goods and the occasional frozen dinuguan and embotido. Now the empadas were good, the siopao, amusingly rebranded as sliders, and the cupcakes(ube, red velvet, mocha, etc), were actually«okay». We’ve tried Red Ribbon, we’ve had Goldilocks(which by the way was the former occupant of this location), and I must say, it didn’t really impress. :**(we will try another location in Eagle Rock, and hope that it won’t be as disappointing. On a nice note, the branch manager and the one young clerk were pretty nice and friendly.

Just got back from Leelin Bakery & Café in West Covina who recently just had their soft opening Feb 1. There are a lot of really cool treats in there. Can’t wait for everything to be in place. I was able to chat a bit with the owner, who shared some exciting news about the special coffees that will be arriving soon. The staff was great — helpful to point out some specialty items that I did not want to pass up. I like to décor and can see where they are going with the look and feel. I’ll be back again soon. If you’re in the mood to try something new, I strongly urge you to stop in and check out what they have to offer.

We were looking for Goldilocks Bakery in West Covina, and couldnt find it. We called, and to make a long story short, were looking for it on their soft launch date. Same place, new name. The Leelin family have always owned Goldilocks, I was even at their Pasong Tamo Extension branch in 1972. And the quality is still consistent, yummy mamon rolls, pan de sal, but most of all creamy Philippine cakes(which is more sugary than chinese bakery cakes). The name change should bode well for them, a menu refresh, a site refresh, a sign that they are not taking their position in the Filipino community for granted. Before there was Red Ribbon, Dates and Nuts, though after Rolling Pin, there was and is Goldilocks. Now under a new name, I guess.
