I AMOBSESSEDWITHTHISPLACE! They have the best prices for Phở, large portions, and every bite is worth your money. This is a family run business with their son guiding customers to tables. Don’t be so picky with their service — a quick way to go in and out is just to walk in and choose a seat and when you’re done eating and ready to pay just walk to the register and you will be helped right away. Their food is delicious and my favorite thing to order is the rare steak phở and well done brisket phở. Try either one and you will leave happy! I put a ton of Sriracha and the brown sauce on mine and my mouth still waters just writing a review about it.

This was the worse phở restaurant ever! I had the vermicelli special and my husband had the phở with tai with beef balls. They both tasted horrible. We will never be dinning in this restaurant again.

Family owned business who have the kids doing the table serving and mom & dad in the kitchen. It’s all good as foods and services are fine.

I loved being able to order take out. For that reason — and because I’ll want to pick up cakes at Nothing Bundt Cakes next door — I’ll be back for the convenience factor. Otherwise, it’s not the best phở I’ve had in the area. More veggies should be given with the vegetable phở, and more chicken should be given with the chicken phở.

The phở tastes good and the portion is very large. I will definitely be back. The only downside is that they don’t really have anyone who speaks English so there is some communication barrier, making it difficult to clarify orders or policies. However, the owners are so sweet: When I accidentally ordered the wrong drink, they seemed willing to switch or remake it for me if I didn’t like it. Service wasn’t slow, but it was lunch on a weekday, and I was the only one dining in. I THINK credit cards require minimum $ 10 charge, so be prepared with cash. DRINKSORDERED: — Café Frappé($ 2.99). Came in large size. Good flavor, pretty much like a Starbucks. It was blended too well, however, so the texture got watery quickly.(NOTE: Not the same as Vietnamese iced coffee. I accidentally ordered this when I tried to ask for café su da, but I completely butchered it and they couldn’t understand me. I confirmed that I should ask for«Coffee Vietnam» next time.) — Coffee Vietnam($ 3.26 including tax, regular size). Incredibly strong tasting Vietnamese iced coffee! It was good but had a bitter aftertaste. The flavor is almost chocolatey, but may be off-putting for some. It was sweet but offset by the bitterness. I was just alright with it at first, but enjoyed it more after the ice melted faster. PHOORDERED: — Small #2 Beef Noodle($ 5.49). It was a combination of rare steak, cooked brisket, tripe, 1 – 2 pieces of softand gelatinous tendon, and 1 half-slice of beef meatball. The meatball was of the hard Asian variety. I enjoyed the light and non-oily broth. Letting the 3 jalapeño slices steep in the soup was enough to provide a hint of spice throughout. Even though I ordered the small, I still had half to take home and finish for dinner!

Good phở on a cold winters day. The service is a little slow, but if you are not in a hurry the food is very enjoyable.

This is me and my boyfriends go-to spot for phở. Location is convenient for us and the phở is really bomb and affordable. We also get egg rolls which are pretty good.

Loving this place. Mom and pops Vietnamese restaurant. Better than most that I have tried around this area. Only set back is egg rolls, if you like them. But phở was amazing. Soup nice and hot, not much oil as you can tell from pictures. Good prices, they have small, medium, and large bowl for those that have small to large appetites. I wish I found this place sooner. It’s hidden in the Plaza in the back, but we’ll worth the search!

The customer service is BAD! Why is a little boy taking my order and not get it right? isn’t that child labor? I’ve placed a call in the past due to limited time for lunch, i get there its not ready«Fuck! you serious? I would think they would take good care of there repeat customer. I miss the previous phở 7777!

Authentic Vietnamese food in West Covina? This is surprising considering the amount of mediocre American-Vietnamese places located within this area. It’s so authentic that even the workers don’t speak any English, but I digress. What makes this place endearing is the fact that it’s family run. I have a soft spot for unknown mom and pop shops and I was impressed by the level of commitment they have. They’re barely starting out so the they try even harder to keep their customer base. It’s kinda like rooting for the underdog, and safe to say, I’m screaming my loudest for them. Now, onto the food. The prices are decently priced. 1.) Shrimp spring rolls and egg roll combo $ 6.00 2.) Phở Tai $ 5.00 For a total of $ 11.00(not including tip) I was full. The broth is not oily and is comparable to the acclaimed Phở Ha in Rowland Heights. The spring rolls were plump with shrimp, pork meat and other goodies. Eggrolls tasted freshly made. Overall, the food was a solid 8⁄10. Maybe it’s just their family tugging at my heart strings but I’m strangely attracted to this place. For sure, this hole in the wall phở restaurant is something to try.

These are good people here that will take care of you especially your little ones. They will make the food specially made for them. The taste and the quality of the food range from 3 to 5 stars. It’s a typical vietnamese phở setting with an average décor. Overall, 5 stars for a business with a good heart.

Good phở. Did not taste watered down even though it was late in the day. The bunhmi, and rice roll were great too:) Not expensive and helped hit the spot while shopping.

We drop by here after doing some shopping at Petco. When we first walked in, there was no customers, probably because we walked in when they were almost closing. This is a family own restaurant. We were greeted when we first enter, and got our drinks right away. The food was good and fulfilling and the service was great, too. It didn’t take long for the food to come out. The price is affordable and there are some sizes available for how big you want your portion to be. I have no complaints about this place. I was serve by the ‘kid’ too but he just a boy who is working for his family. He isn’t a brat. He is simply trying to help his parents out because their English isn’t good and his parents believe that his English is good enough to help take orders. He got our utensils and drinks, and when we were ready to order, the elder man came and had the boy along on his side in case he couldn’t understand what we wanted. Mistakes are prone to happen and I’m pretty sure no boy, especially at his age, want to work. He is just giving his family a helping hand.

Chicken USA phở was alright, soup was good but noodle a bit overcooked. Hainan chicken rice is great but rice can add a bit chicken flavor since it’s only plain white rice. Service was friendly which is a plus!

Their phở is decent, but it’s great for the price! Was full eating the medium bowl and it was yummy. Nothing wrong with their service or food either. They also gave us some free boba milk tea. It wasn’t bad either. Sweet chewy boba and the milk tea was surprisingly tasty. I will definitely come again while shopping nearby at the West Covina plaza!

Still a good place to eat in West Covina. This time, I tried the Combo Dac Biet Vermicelli and it was delicious. The noodles were soft and the fish sauce was perfection. And the pork and shrimp were well cooked as well.
