T.G.I. Friday’s

We came here at 12:00 we got sat at our table and was looking for our waiter, our waiter never came to get our drinks, finally we asked someone for the unlimited apps menus and he went to get them, out waiter Nick came to help us and we told him we wanted to unlimited apps menu and he got supper defensive talking about how it’s to late and they’re closing and they don’t do that this late when they closed at 2am and it was barely 12 he kept pushing on that we had to order from the regular menu. He was being fake friendly with us and kept pushing for us to get more food hence a bigger tab for him and it just made us feel some type of way, we ended up leaving no tip because the service was not acceptable. Not coming back here again. The one in puente hills is better that’s how I know that he was BSing.

I called in a late night take-​out order and Logan took my order over the phone. He was funny, uplifting, and attentive from the beginning of our interaction. The 5 stars is all for him. Thanks for being so awesome. :)

Had a party of 8 with Logan as our waiter. Boy you talk about a professional. Logan is the man. He got our food and drinks to us so quickly I was very impressed. And I made sure my impression was left as a tip. A very generous tip. Love you Logan thank you for the great graduation dinner.

Was here last night. We had a group of 7. I usually expect service to be slower with a larger group. To my dismay we had the best service ever. Logan was on top of it making sure our every need was taken care of. Thank you Logan for making our night.

Some TGIF’s are hit n miss, but this specific location is how all of the TGIF chains should be.
Great happy hour, good service, and the food is prepared as requested! This may be the only TGIF I can visit going forward!

I haven’t been to this Fridays probably since Unilocal was Unilocal.But i have to say my first visit back was beyond great. The food was so much better than I remember it but most of all the service was actually the best I’ve had in a really long time from a big chain restaurant. I sat at the bar and I was served by a woman named Myra. She had all the great qualities of bartender. Greeted me when I sat down, very attentive on refills and if my food was how I wanted it, did a great job pouring my beer (instead of it being half foam) and she had great conversation without being too talkative. I will defiantly be back again for my next lunch. Thank you guys.

I’ve been coming here for almost a year now since I move close to here. I always get treated like family. Dustin the server is the mann. his services is always on point
Great personality and provides an awesome experience at TGIFs in West Covina. I highly recommend him as your server.

Wow this is ridiculous we waited 10 min just for them to ring up my bill and then they served my refill once I was almost done with all my food

Honestly this is THE worst experience I’ve ever had. My first experience at a TGIFS and it just sucked. Our server «Christina» was so rude, was late on ALL of our orders, and the food was fucking cold. My family and I asked for the endless appetizers and it took them almost an hour to bring out our 2^nd batch. Even from the start when we walked in my cousins had asked to be seated near the bar she places us in the back near the men’s restroom when there were other available tables. Like are you kidding me? Honestly I won’t be coming back. I felt highly discriminated and disrespected.

I got the 2 for $ 20. For $ 3 more I upgraded to the Jack Daniels chicken which was so good. The service was fast, and our waiter was attentive.

Did a paint nite here with a couple of girlfriends on a random Tuesday night & found it to be a decent location.
We only ordered drinks:
— lemon drop (²⁄₅) — this drink was REALLY strong & not enjoyable. My friend who ordered had to use my drink to chase it down, haha.
— raspberry tea (3.5÷5) — there’s free refills on this drink! but I didn’t finish mine because we were so focused on painting away.
— peach sangria (⁴⁄₅) — you really can’t ever go wrong with a sangria! this was delicious & refreshing and even had apple/​strawberries inside it too (=
Overall, the environment was okay. They have heating lamps outside that kept us warm throughout the night. It was just a bit cramped. As for parking, there’s plenty & overall, the service was good too.

Came for some drinks and appetizers on a busy Saturday night. Our server/​bartender Mike did a fantastic job. He was very friendly and attentive despite how busy he was. Food and drinks came to our table very fast. Great job mike! Definitely coming back.

If I could give no stars, I would. The wait time was beautiful but the whole experience was a nightmare. When we got seated, we had to wait 5 min before someone even came to acknowledge us. Finally my husband flagged someone to request for our menus. And we still don’t know who our server would be. … so he finally decided to show up to take our drink order. Our drinks took forever so I knew right then that he wasn’t going to make our experience pleasant. I ordered the endless apps and let me recommend that if you get a server just as forgetful and rude like ours, save yourself the heartache and don’t do it. My theory is… most restaurants are minimum wage so it’s logical to me to think that they would do better at their jobs to compensate their wage. All in all this was the worst visit ever.

Ended up at TGIF not by choice. To start off, they sat is ALL the way in the back & then our waitress took a long time before taking our drink order. My sister ordered the endless appetizers, which tasted awful & as if they had reheated the potatoe skins over & over ahead. The boneless chicken wings were cold on the inside & warm on the outside. My «shrimp dinner» tasted rubbery & the fries were limp & cold. My sisters drink actually had too much vodka. The only good thing was my beer that came in a bottle. TGIF, apparently not good on any day.

Logan is definitely the best waiter we’ve had here at Fridays… will be coming back for him.

We came here for my father in laws birthday we got the best service I have ever had. Logan went above and beyond to make it an exceptional experience!

Always so busy but always so good! Love the happy hour, it is one of the best. The Jack Daniels Sesame Chicken Strips are the best hands down.

Came here for new years. The food was good and so was service so can’t really complain here

Foods decent.
if you sit in/​at the bar just remember. MUST BE A REGULAR TO GET DECENT SERVICE.
Sucks but true. Wont be back.

Endless Appetizers:
We tried almost everything (except mozzarella sticks and maybe a flavor of chicken).
Best to Worst:
Memphis BBQ Rub Chicken (clearly the best chicken)
Tostadas
Flatbread
Pot Stickers
Parmesan Chicken
Sriracha Chicken
Bruschetta
Potato Skins (DO NOT ORDER THIS)
Chicken is a solid choice here. The meat comes good quality and masked with good sauces. It’s good chicken, so all flavors are alright, even the Sriracha one (Sriracha pales in comparison to the other chicken choices). To be honest, it didn’t even taste like Sriracha! Parmasan chicken tasted like they didn’t even add sauce!
Most of the choices are excellent because they are very light. Except potato skins. Those things are heavy as hell. The tostadas are pretty refreshing and the flatbread is savory (CHEEEEEEEESE). Pot stickers are filled with pork and they have a pleasant crunchy exterior.
Tostadas also have a dollop of guac, so that’s a plus, I guess.
The bruschetta was very disappointing. It mainly tasted like vinegar, even with all that tomato. I mean, it had a satisfying crunch, but there’s no way I would order it again.
The potato skins are horrible. It’s fried potato chunks with bacon bits, chives, and sour cream. Sounds good right? Dude, it’s an overload of oil, carbs, and fat. They also give like 2 potatoes worth. It killed the party. We were done after that… okay, maybe we did one more.
The overall experience was excellent. We had a ton of fun and we ended up eating like $ 110 worth of apps for $ 40+tip.
I dunno what the hate for service was about, we were served promptly and politely, no complaints here. The food orders came in hot and in 10 minute succession.
