Dog Haus is the Absolute Wurst! Wow what an event! First, I must give a huge thank you to Jessica H. and everyone from Dog Haus for allowing me to leave there with a full and happy belly! We were fortunate enough to be able to sample many of the items on the menu… but here’s the rundown on my faves for the night: –Sooo Cali Dog(a snap dog with spicy basil aioli, tomato, arugula, and crispy onions) –Downtown Dog(a house dog wrapped in smoked bacon, roasted peppers, caramelized onions, mayo, mustard, and ketchup) –The Ringer(angus beef burger with smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, onion rings, and bbq sauce) –Tater Tots(very crispy and oh sooooo delicious) Service was on point from the introduction by the Marketing Director and the Head Chef to the servers stuffing us with their wonderful delights, one after another! I can’t wait to go back and try more of what Dog Haus has to offer!

I have to say this was probably one of my favorite Unilocal Elite Events, just because we were able to interact with the marketing director, creative directors who make the different sausages, the workers — the Dog Haus family basically — and get to know them and see their passion for what they do come alive in the food that they create. The tasting consisted of six different food items, not including the sides or the shakes for dessert. I think I was full by the second one, but I kept going because everything was so good! We were able to taste the sausages on its own, but it definitely was so much better when it was paired with the sauces, garnish, and bread. We tried their popular items: Sooo Cali, Downtown Dog, Bad Mutha Clucka, The Pig and the Fig, The Hangover, and The Ringer. Omgosh, everything lived up to their namesake. I’ve never been to Dog Haus before, but I definitely think this experience will bring me back. Everything was so tasty when eaten together. I can only imagine how amazing the food would be if I were really hungry and only had one individual item in front of me. Overall, I really liked the burgers — The Hangover in particular because of the chili and egg, but the Bad Mutha Clucka(great name!) and The Pig And The Fig were close favorites. We even had sides! Tater tots, French fries, and sweet potato fries … really good and really tasty, but I think everybody was so full that they were hardly touched. We ended the night with some really cool Dog Haus swag along with their organic caramel/chocolate shakes. Seriously a great way to end a Tuesday. Big thanks to Jessica H. for planning this event, and to the staff of Dog Haus for having us! Everybody was so nice and friendly and seemed genuinely interested in hearing the feedback we had. And unlimited beer!
