The donuts are the best in the morning when they are fresh… isn’t that all bakeries haha. But in all seriousness, my favorite donut from this small shop are the maple bars and chocolate bars. These donuts do not have extra glazing on them and when fresh, melts in your mouth. The frosting has the perfect sweetness and flavors. The dough is so fluffy and is just a mouthful of goodness. These donuts are hand made individually and Mr. Lapster has a sense of humor you won’t forget. If he doesn’t seem happy, it is only because he works often by himself and multi-tasks like a champ. The shop only has traditional donuts and has been serving the local community for almost 15 years. If you need anything customized he is able to bake it for you, as well as ordering large quantities and delivery services. Stop by in the morning and try something out. BTW, CASHONLY but there is a ATM machine available.

Acceptable donut shop right of Citrus on the 10 fwy. Location is tough cause it’s next to 85C Bakery. The selection seemed limited, but I tried the cake and glaze donuts, and both were average at best. I probably won’t come back, unless I happen to be in the area.

Best donuts in town. Definitely try it, they are unique. Support your local donut store!!! Mom and pop shop and they don’t speak good English but they are sweet, kind, and friendly

My friend took me to this place and raved on about the ice coffee, apparently the best on the West Coast. Being a Starbucks fan(once a day coffee drinker), I was skeptical of her opinion especially since the store was a mom and pop«donut» store. But after my first sip, I was surprised with the flavor, aroma, and smoothness of the liquid goodness. It changed my perspective of what coffee is supposed to taste like. I decided to eat lunch there and get donuts as dessert also. I got a tuna sandwich and donut holes. The sandwich was so tasty and the bread that they used was freshly baked. The donut holes were delicious and not overly sweetened like some of the donuts made by the corporate chains. Overall, my experience was exceptional especially with the excellent customer service at the store. I wish there was a Sunrise Donuts near my area, but I’ll be sure to return when I’m back in Long Beach.

Donuts are okay nothing special but they are pretty dry compared to any other decent donut shop. I couldn’t understand what they were saying at times. I bought a small cup of coffee and they forgot to put a lid on it and it spilled, I asked if I could get another and they refused. Really bad customer service. Needless to say, I’ll be going to crispy crème from now on…

Horrible customer service. Workers/owners barely speak English and when I complained about a donut being dry, they simply laughed and said basically ‘too bad’ then he spoke to the lady probably his wife on another language. I was so offended by this, I walked out and threw the donut in the trash. Very rude people with no experience in running a business. I will not return anytime soon.

Love these! Big, soft, fluffy, just the right amount of sweet, and the icing is always good. Someone at work brings these every once in awhile and I CANNOT pass up eating one(or two). They’re really great.

Nice donut shop with friendly service. I wanted a custard filled chocolate bar, but they had run out. So they went in the back to cut it open and fill it up. Just for me. D’awww. So nice. They give you free donut holes if you come often or order a few. One of the more convenient donut shops in the West Covina area.

Such a nice little donut shop. When we walked in it was completely empty and the lady was watching tv but quickly got up and helped us and the donuts are good nothing too special about them but the prices are really good in my opinion
