Applebee’s

Clean, warm in the winter, food came fast and staff was attentive. Probably one of the best Applebee’s I’ve been to.

I have been to Applebee’s in other cities previously, so when I walked in tonight I thought I had a fairly good idea of what to expect.
Unfortunately, this location was extremely disappointing. When I came in there was no hostess… So I waited several minutes for a hostess to acknowledge me. She was friendly when she did great me… And seated me promptly. The one bright spot in my experience.
I then waited about 10 minutes for a server to come and take my drink order… And I only was able to give a drink order because I flagged down another server who is walking by, even though it was not her section. I should mention I was one of about 5 diners here– so the restaurant was not busy.
While I was waiting for my order to arrive… I observed another server coughing into her hands repeatedly, and then watched her take my order and carry it over to my table immediately after coughing onto her hands. Gross gross gross!!!
I had to flag down a server again to get my bill… As I left there was again no hostess in sight, so I was not acknowledged as I left. Overall I felt customer service is not a priority here… nor safe and healthy food handling practices.
Needless to say I won’t be returning to this location… And won’t be returning to another Applebee’s location either. Lost a customer for good.

Went to this location on 9÷22÷15 with just my daughter and I. Was greeted promptly and seated, but it took my waitress probably 8 minutes to realize we were there and maybe 16 – 20 other guests in the restaurant so that was a big frustrating! Food was great and hot! Only other problem was is that I was never checked up on again after receiving my food so that was a bit disappointing!

Applebee’s is by far my favorite restaurant. They have an amazing staff and amazing food.
Most people in my family don’t like it but that is just because they think they can get great food for a lower price but I think their prices are fine
I usually get onion rings or boneless buffalo wings for an appetizer and they are both amazing.
For my entrée I get their chicken tenders platter which are amazing and so are the side of fries.
Their desserts are to die for. I have tried almost all of them and my favorite would have to be their pecan blonde brownie.
It is a very family friendly place and the staff is amazing.

Great service. We were seated by asking if we wanted a booth or table.
Were greeted with a smile and asked about a beverage. Fast service.
Placed our order and it came out in great time and exactly what we ordered. Always get great service.
First time there since they added the table top tablets. My wife and I played the couples trivia. Very fun
Would recommend this to anyone

Applebee’s in West Des Moines, IA need to know how to cook a burger well done with no pink on the inside. I went to Applebee’s couple weeks ago, and they send my burger not well done. I will not go back to Applebee’s in West Des Moines. I will go to the Applebee’s in Des Moines by Merle Hall Mall because they cook my burger well done.

Came here for a quick dinner after a day of shopping a year or two ago. Everything was pretty much on par with other Applebees I’ve been to. Quick and friendly service with good priced tasty food.
I have always enjoyed their food here, mainly their half price appetizers after 9pm. It is not uncommon for me to just eat apps late at night here. The atmosphere is always casual without the place getting rowdy from watching the game.

I’ve eaten at this location twice and got sick both times. No prior ailments and no it wasn’t the brown bottle flu.

Love applebees. Margaritas are good, sangria is amazing, and if you want non alcoholic drink you have got to try the frozen strawberry lemonade. AMAZING! Food is always great here and portions could be a tad bigger, but it leaves room for dessert.
Must tries: lunch special– tomatoe basil soup and ceaser salad. Frozen strawberry lemonade. Dinner special– cheese stuffed meatballs on a bed of pasta is delish!

Good reliable food. There were five of us, for dinner. We were seated right away, got what we ordered, and the food and service was good!
