Absolutely mind blowing flavor. I will definitely be back for more! Excellent customer service and relish food.

Staff was nice, but man the food was so bland! Had to order some cayenne pepper on the side just to have any spice on the lamb vindaloo. Also, the naan tasted just like wonder bread. Not my favorite, and probably won’t be back anytime soon.

I love this restaurant! I have eaten Indian food in a lot of places in the U.S. and this is some of the best. The flavors in the food are fantastic and even when there is a high level of heat the flavors still come through. The staff is very good about making recommendations and convinced me to try things that I normally wouldn’t. I was a Chicken Tikka Masala deviotee for many years because I didn’t like too much spice. Now I’m a lover of Chicken Chettinadu. It is HOT and it was incredible. I had a lot to take home and the next day it was even hotter. One of the owners told me that with that amount of spice, I would never been sick again. He provided me with some yogurt sauce to use the next day to tone it down. Perfect. Their naan is very good. Enough crisp to not be soggy, but enough softness to be a bread and not a cracker. Great flavors for all of them. They have a great lunch buffet during the week and on the weekend!

I picked up a special chicken biryani after 9 pm. They close at 9 but the staff was very nice to keep the place open they also helped me with the directions. I am going back there for sure.

Fantastic buffet lunch. Great selection of high quality dishes. Really great combination of flavors and spice… with a little more that the average heat, which was just fine with me. Can’t wait to try the dinner menu.

We heard there was another Indian restaurant in town and we had to add it to the list of Indian places we’ve eaten at in the metro. Before coming here I read reviews and checked their website for food options and saw they had a lunch buffet like most other Indian restaurants do. Obviously we went for the lunch buffet, I feel a buffet line is one of the best ways to gauge the restaurant’s food quality due to the wide variety of options available. Most Indian buffets are pretty identical with very few differences. The buffet line is small like most Indian buffets, but almost every item is flavorful and worth trying. The chicken dishes are tender which is key. The atmosphere nice and quiet, there were several customers but everyone keeps to themselves and enjoys the food. I wouldn’t say this is better than any other Indian buffet we went to, great food and great service!

Have never been disappointed coming here. Great food, friendly staff, good price! All of the different curry flavors are spot on and taste great. The naan is cooked to perfection. I’m not typically a spinach eater, but decided to try the fried spinach dipped in chutney and I was very impressed.

I really liked the atmosphere and the looks of the restaurant. Everything looked nice inside. It definitely didn’t look like your typical Indian restaurant. It was way more upscale. The man who seated us and took our orders was very friendly and seemed like maybe he was the owner. We both ordered the chicken vindaloo. That’s our favorite dish. Our waiter warned us that it was very spicy, but we love spicy so that’s what we wanted. We also ordered some garlic naan to go with it. I have to say the portions of our entrees were pretty big. And the spice level was perfect. But we weren’t expecting the vindaloo to be so red and tomato-y. It didn’t taste like the vindaloo we’ve eaten at many other Indian restaurants. All we could taste was the tomato flavor, not the aromatic spices that bring out the typical vindaloo flavor. Our favorite chicken vindaloo is from India Star. They get it right every time. I have to give them credit for their naan. It was delicious, garlicky and slightly crispy; not soft like the way some other places serve it. But I don’t think that’s enough for me to come back here. Maybe some other dishes are better than their vindaloo, but I don’t care enough to try again. I have my other favorite Indian places like India Star and Taj Mahal.

Just got lunch buffet at this place with my coworkers. Man was it good. The buffet has about 10 – 15 options and they are all amazing. Their Naan bread is delicious. Their difference spices blended chicken dishes are through the roof. I’m not a vegetarian nor a fan of vegan dishes, but boy are their vegetable dishes good as well. I’ve never been an Indian food fan before here. My girlfriend got their food to go once, and that was the first time I tried that place and fell in love. Since then I’ve had the buffet here twice and each time I can’t stop eating and eat till I can’t breathe anymore. So as a non-Indian food fan to becoming an Indian food fan thanks to this place, I have to say that if you like Indian food you should definitely eat here, and if you don’t then still give it a try because it worked on me. The staff was nice. The place was very clean. And the food was fresh and all the trays full. All for $ 10, which is a small price to pay considering I ate 3 full plates and enjoyed every bite!

Really enjoyed my first visit to «Paradise.» They had some unique dishes and were very accommodating and helpful to us vegans. I specified«medium» spice and my spice level upon receipt was good. Others in our group didn’t specify and found theirs too spicy. That and a touch pricier than Namaste(my go to) were the only negatives.

We came to Paradise Biryani Pointe to try a new(to us) Indian restaurant in town. We normally go to Indian Star, Namaste or Taj Mahal. We love the vegetarian and non-dairy options in there buffets due to allergy restrictions and preference. We walked in for a late Sunday lunch and the place was absolutely packed! We were getting even more excited since there were so many patrons in the establishment. The staff and the service was superb but the food was a bit lack luster. There were a lot of dairy filled options but there were a lot of options all around. Come to find out Biryani’s is a chain and some of the food resembled more of a Chinese feel. Of course not all of the food but there were a few that was more on the Kung Pao Chicken feel. The Tandoori chicken was good! Unfortunately, that was the only one that stuck out in my mind. They had a sauce bar and the mint chutney was just ok. I tried one of there peanut sauces on the sauce bar and it really didn’t have a flavor. I had my friend try it and she said the same thing. Ray(whom we thought was the owner) gave us great service. I was super impressed with how friendly he was! He seemed to really care about the restaurant and its success. We got home and unfortunately, all three of us felt horrible the rest of the evening. The food seemed to leave us with gut rot. I don’t know if it was how the food was prepared but we all had upset stomachs. I would say I would come back to try the non-buffet at this restaurant but I don’t want to risk getting sick again. Sorry to be so graphic fellow Unilocalers but I would just stick to local Indian Cuisine.

They have improved. The food has flavor which can excite your taste bud. Don’t order Goat meat. I was satisfied after having a nice crispy naan.

We eat here weekly(at least), and it’s worth the drive from downtown for us. It is always delicious and service is great — even with our 3 year old in tow! The south Indian flavors are authentic and truly complex(home recipes are daunting, if not impossibly time consuming, for me — and I am a decent cook). The lunch buffet is amazing — huge, fresh, and of course delicious. There is a full chutney /sauce bar, which is a treat and(i believe) rare is DSM. It can get pretty crowded, so we always try to go early, especially on the weekends. For anyone new to south Indian fare, this is a great place to try as the atmosphere is great(some others can feel kitchen-y), menu is easy to understand and the food is perfect.

IFYOUHAVE A HEARTORSOUL. PLEASEDON’T EATHERE! Halal meat is the Muslim way of torturing and killing a defenseless animal prior to eating it. What kind of religion allows that … according to the Koran they do. I am a Sikh and I think this restaurant is an outrage to have and serve food to the public that doesn’t even know what you’re doing behind closed doors! Disappointed!!!

Good Indian food is seemingly impossible to find in the Midwest outside of Chicago, which makes this place a gem! I’m from Houston which actually has a Little India, and I haven’t had absolutely decadent high class Indian food since leaving Houston… until I went to Paradise at the recommendation of my doctor who was born and raised in India. It did not disappoint! The naan, the sauces, and the portions are wonderful! It is authentic which does mean spice, so the timid really should dine elsewhere. For the cultured Iowan, this restaurant will be a personal favorite. It isn’t cheap, but I have every intent on driving over for every anniversary and birthday to celebrate with melt in your mouth real Indian food.

This is a really good version of a «neighborhood» Indian Restaurant. What I mean by this is that’s it’s a solid 4-star restaurant because it’s not fancy or overpriced — yet it’s an authentic version of the named cuisine: Indian. I’m not Indian and I haven’t visited India — but I’ve eaten at some very good Indian restaurants on 7th Street in NYC and in Hollywood/North Hollywood in Los Angeles where there are large concentrations of Indian folks congregating this type of place — and I know these folks are looking for authentic representations of their cuisine if they decide to go. At Paradise it was no different in that way — I was pleased to see at least 7 – 8 tables filled with Indian groups who definitely seemed to be enjoying the food. For my part I was happy to order some long-time favorites — Garlic Naan, Butter Naan, Chicken Masala, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Vepudu and Chicken Chettinadu… lotta chicken-lovers at my table! In any case — I tried all of these dishes and they were nicely seasoned and tasty and served timely — can’t ask for more than this — especially while there were at least 8 – 10 other tables being served at the same time. They also had a few beers on draft — one by Exile that I ordered once the spices became apparent — nice! Additionally, the Bismati rice was tasty — although we had to add more as we had ordered more dishes than needed for 5 people(5 dishes and an appetizer is really too much food for 5 diners with the portion size offered). I would recommend this place to anyone! I will be back.

food is very flavorful and meat is tender. very authentic Indian food, recommended by one of our coworker who is on a secondment here from India. highly recommend the lamb masala, a must try! the spices really get into the meat yet the meat is still very tender. the onion naan is really good too, not too salty. Indian beer! get the Taj Mahal one! service is on the slow side, but the waiter is very friendly and attentive

5 stars for the food! It was delicious, and I’ve been to a good number of Indian restaurants. The veggie biryani, eggplant dish, goat curry, and of course chicken tikka masala were highlights. The fruit custard was a new experience. I wish they had a paneer dish! My only complaint would be that the atmosphere was too quiet. It got a little noisier as others came in for linch, but with only there tables filled upon entry, it felt very zen. Other people may like that, but it’s not my thing. Overall, a good place! I would be back.

Was excited to hear of a new Indian place in town. This place is tucked in a strip mall area near Jordan Creek Mall and is kind of hidden. The interior is nice and clean being that it’s very new. As an Indian chain restaurant, I could definitely get that vibe compared to the local places in town. Because of it being a chain restaurant, I was a little hesitant it may not fare as well as the others. I’m impressed they serve halal meat though. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala Naan as the appetizer and it was pretty tasty, although I thought it was a little sparse on the Chicken Tikka Masala part. My group ordered the Paneer Korma, Palak Paneer, and Chicken Tikka Masala. One major thing I really like are the portion sizes and the large chunks of paneer or protein they put in the meals. This place makes it very rich and creamy. However, the downsize is that if you get one of the saucier dishes, you often end up with more sauce then you can finish after the food is gone. In my case, when the paneer and chicken was gone, we had a lot of sauce left. In my opinion, because some of their sauces are really rich and creamy, it’s hard to eat it all. The basmati rice was a little harder than I prefer too. Although I did like my meal here, the reason I gave it three stars is because of how creamy some of my dishes were and its service. It doesn’t compare to local places to me, and also had some issues with customer service(got our requested tamarind sauce AFTER we were done eating) Also, I had asked for a mild Goat Vindaloo dish for my sister who can’t tolerate medium level spicy and I have a high spice tolerance and couldn’t even tolerate it. I’ve seen some customers voice complaints to cooks here which may mean this place needs more work. However, I would still recommend this place to try out and am curious in trying the lunch buffet next. Hopefully as it gets more experience, the food and service will get better.
