Food good, wifi good, but they were so busy getting their work done they forgot to be friendly sometimes. Wifi is asked to be limited to 30 minutes. Wish they had community table where the TIME pressure was not on you and computer people could come and go. Oh well… Eat and go… Maybe word it «when people are waiting for tables»? Until I can sit for at least an hour, I do not think I would go back but then I am not there just for food. I am there for food while I get work done while on the road.

DELICIOUS! I’m so sad I didn’t discover this place earlier! The staff is super friendly and vibe is very colorful and cozy. I ordered the pancakes with hash browns, eggs over medium and extra crispy bacon and I devoured it. The hash browns are SOGOOD! I don’t know how they make them or what they do to them but I just couldn’t get enough. My boyfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy and I was sneaking bites from his plate too. Will definitely be back again and will be telling everyone!

The reviews are absolutely accurate about this place. Read the reviews and you will know what to expect… we left absolutely unsurprised and unalarmed about our experience vs. the reviews we previously read. This is a breakfast pit-stop, located in a strip-mall, with mediocre food, decent staff, a «fairly» clean environment, poor décor, no ambiance and you will leave with nothing much to say. We had a lovely waitress with all the personality in the world! She made the experience most enjoyable. The lady at the register — not so much — volume! We should learn to use our«inside voices». Obnoxious staff do not ever impress anyone trying to dine in peace. DONOT yell across the restaurant at another staff member. Geeze. The food was just food. There are no «turkey-sausage /bacon» options, which really limits for those who don’t eat beef or pork — that was a bit disappointing. Getting protein can be a challenge without those options… HOWEVER, they can cook an egg perfectly. The eggs, although cooked perfectly, were obviously not farm-to-table… the yolks were tiny and tasteless. Obviously from a big-box food distributor. Bread was good-‘olé Wonder Bread and the hash browns were fresh out of the freezer. Is this a place to visit? Eh, if you must. Will we be back? Nah, we decided a drive-thru would suffice vs. this place. READTHEREVIEWS.

This is a small breakfast/lunch spot tucked away in a strip mall. I walked inside to a clean and well lit diner, and was promptly seated. I ordered coffee, browsed the menu, and decided on the breakfast wrap. It came by itself with eggs, onions, mushroom and cheese, and I added bacon to it. Came out fairly quick and tasted delicious, as the veggies were fresh and the eggs fluffy. Prices were reasonable as well for the quality offered. The owner was very friendly and struck up some conversation with this newcomer, which is always welcome.

Stopped by here for lunch on a cold Feb afternoon. The food is diner type food but not very inventive or special. Ordered the patty melt and while it was decent it really didn’t stand out much. The macaroni salad it was served with was meh as well. The clientèle here are the same type of people that eat at Ryan’s or old Country buffet. I wouldn’t come back unless I had to choose between this and KFC. Even then i may pick KFC…

The breakfast was very good and we’d go back for that reason. There was no atmosphere as it felt like we were in an airport dining room. Two minor issues they need to fix are the cheap silverware and they don’t take American Express.

Decided to branch out and try a new breakfast place over the weekend. This place is a hidden gem! Breakfast was tasty — I had the ‘kick it up’ omelette — so good w their revenge sauce — and a homemade biscuit! Staff were all very friendly. Seemed as though each of the patrons knew one another! Very much a ‘Cheers’ like environment. We’ll be back!

For some reason good breakfast places are hard to find in the Des Moines area(outside of eating at grocery stores…). This place –short and sweet– is great! Friendly staff, really good food and coffee, easy and plentiful parking is hopefully a recipe for success. Please all you locals and visitors, give this place a try and keep it in business! You won’t be disappointed. And no, I am not at all affiliated with the restaurant. It was word of mouth to me and I’m passing it on :)

I love that they don’t serve straws with their drinks! Yay for reducing waste one step at a time! I debated between giving them three or four stars… The food is pretty good, but a tad pricy for what you get. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, so you’ll have your standard eggs, pancakes, and French toast options on the menu and for lunch, hot sandwiches or burgers. We all had breakfast food(plus the chicken citrus salad) and were all happy with it, but not blown away. The service was outstanding, our server was so friendly! They have very cute and colorful coffee mugs.

If you walk up and decide you’d really like to get yourself mentally and physically ready for a nap, you’ve come to the right place. Good food and quality services. I recommend the killer revenge sauce on everything. Stretch pants not required, but highly encouraged.

The food is fine, regular breakfast food. Nothing special. I find some of their«amazing!» reviews to be very fishy, if you catch my drift. The service was awful. Waitress immediately asked if we knew what we wanted as soon as we got the menus, so she came off a little pushy. Then after we received our meals she never came back! We finished eating, pushed our plates to the end of the table so that they could see we were done. My mom wanted a soda refill and never got one. She tried to get another waiter’s attention and he didn’t notice/hear her. I believe the two people acting as servers are the son/daughter of the owner? Not sure but I heard our waitress refer to the woman acting as ‘host’ as mom. And I saw them all sitting at a table together at one point, just chilling. And yet we couldn’t even get a refill! And it wasn’t even busy.

Great place for breakfast! They have the best mochas, seriously. The Paige sandwich is awesome, all of the flavors meld together well with the killer revenge sauce, yum! Definitely recommend any dish with that sauce. French Toast was good too, with the perfect crispness on the outside while soft in the middle. Don’t miss this place!

Best bacon in the entire state of Iowa! This restaurant has an affordable menu full of delicious options. I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, and they were all top quality. The food was served quickly, waitress was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had a cute style.
