A bike shop is a bike shop is a bike shop. Friendly staff, well set up store, character on the building. I’ve always loved bike shops and I can’t quite explain why, they just have a nice aura. Things for every price range here. Clean. They do repairs. Kinda funky parking situation though — thought it would«U» around the building and pull out but there’s a bar on the other side.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Took a bike in and spent well over $ 200 to get it tuned and some basic replacement parts, including new tires. Got my bike back and it won’t even ride in a straight line and the breaks are rubbing… After the tune-up. It was worse than when I took it in. Took it in and they blamed it on the tires, saying they are bad tires. Then why do you sell them? They replaced one of the tires and basically blamed the wobbly tires on me being picky. Did nothing to fix it. I’m more pissed than usual and am out a couple hundred dollars. Go F yourself Rasmussen. i will never be back. And I will spread the word that you suck. Such a weak effort I really should complain to the BBB too. But this shithole isn’t worth my time. Their bikes are way overpriced too. Would rather wait 3 weeks and get it done right at Bike World. I would recommend you do the same.

Rasmussen is an awesome bike shop! Smart people that provide good advice and care about me as a customer. I also like their clothing lines. I bought my sons birthday present there and he loved the gear. Greg, the owner is a good dude!

My wife and I were in search of road bikes this spring because we rediscovered the joy of biking last summer and decided our bikes we bought when we were in high school weren’t going to cut it anymore. I had not a clue what I wanted in a bike let alone what made one better then the other. I did the typical millennial thing and googled about them and read too many forums/reviews that just made me even more confused. We decide to just go to Rasmussen’s and find an expert to talk to which was easy because the first guy to greet us at the door had all the answers we were in search of. I liked that his first question was«what type of rider are looking to be?», instead of «how much do you want to spend?» He suggested a few bikes for both of us and we gave them a test drive. I found a Specialized brand bike I liked and my wife liked a Raleigh. They also had a great sale going on so we loaded up on accessories for our new bikes. At this point even Mr. Rasmussen himself was helping us while the others were getting our bikes setup and ready for us to ride. Once we left Rasmussen’s we hit the trails! After our ride we were very pleased with our purchases and would recommend Rasmussen Bike Shop to anyone!

Excellent service. First bike since I was a kid — and I love the Bianchi Torino I’m taking home!

I had just flown into DM for my very first RAGBRAI and, at my friend’s house, found that some critical parts were missing from my boxed bike. After a few calls, Rasmussen’s seemed to be my one-stop shop for everything. The guys there couldn’t have been more helpful– I am very lucky that I found them when I was in supreme need.

The person I dealt with there was rude and not helpful. They must have enough customers already because I was ready to buy a bike.

very disappointed when I went into Rasmussen Bike Shop. I wanted to get a lock for my bike, they had a limited selection to choose from. The sales people weren’t that helpful — this store has lots to offer, but for the novice bike rider, I don’t think that this is the store to go to.
