Very disturbed by the unethical business practices at this store. In early February I purchased a pair of shoes from here. During checkout the cashier was very pushy on getting me to sign up for a «free» subscription to Sports Illustrated. I originally declined but she continued to push the free aspect of it and I finally said«whatever» just to get the transaction over with. Two days ago I noticed a $ 26 charge on my bank account for a subscription to SI. I immediately called them and was told I agreed to a subscription at Finish Line with my purchase there. Luckily they are reversing the charge. I’m assuming Finish Line associates must get some sort of bonus or incentive for selling subscriptions but they should be held to rules where they need to inform the customers that they will eventually be billed. Furthermore I think it’s disturbing that Finish Line furnished my credit card info to SI without my knowledge. BUYERBEWARE! Guess this goes back to the old adage that nothing is free.
