I found these folks at America’s Baking and Sweets Show held in Schaumburg this past weekend. I was very happy to have found them! I am somewhat of a chocolate covered potato chip addict and I have found that Anna Shea’s are some of my favorites, but Anna Shea charges $ 5.50 for about 7 – 10 chips in a small bag and I picked up a bag about 3 times the size here for $ 7(at the show). I snacked on some today and they were excellent! I also sampled their chocolate covered toffee and totally fell in love. I picked up a few gift boxes of their toffee for Christmas gifts this year for $ 10 per box. That is if they last until Christmas around here. I learned they are only about 15 – 20 minutes from my house and nearby where I often drive, so I WILL be making it a point to visit the store to see what else they have to offer. Love me some chocolatey treats!

Love the chocolate here. I found this place through Unilocal, and I’m glad I did. The place is 5 minutes from my house, and I had no idea they were there for 6 years! They are always friendly and eager to help you. The lady there usually offers you chocolate covered chips or some sort of samples. My favorite is the giant chocolate covered pretzel sticks. They’re about 6 inches long, and about 34 of it is covered in chocolate, caramel, toffee, or whichever kind you want. Prices are more than reasonable especially if you compare with Anna Shea or other shops around. It’s a hidden gem. I recommend this shop.

Great people, great chocolate! Off the main street, but worth the time and your dime freshly made candies, mostly chocolate.

At the Cocoa, Cocoa Cabana For chocolate north of Havana At the Cocoa, Cocoa Caba-a-na! Truffles and ice cream are always outstanding At the Cocooooooa… I fell in love… Sweet tooth? Yeah, me too. I must have driven past this place at least a couple thousand times, but because of the distance from the road, I guess I just never built up the interest to pull over and I wish I knew better, because now that I know what I’m missing, I’ve been there twice in the last 48 hours. This place reminds me of hodge-podge confectionaries you find in Door County or Galena. Actually they serve Cedar Crest ice cream which is based in Cedarburg, and their coffee is Door County brand. No wonder I love this place! They serve coffee, hot cocoa, ice cream, and there are plenty of chocolate treats, e.g. truffles, chocolate covered fruit, chocolate potato chips, chocolate dipped pretzels, our favorite things to get so far have been hazelnut truffles, every flavor of hot cocoa and drumroll please… FROZENHOTCHOCOLATE! Haven’t had a frozen hot chocolate since 2008 at Serendipity in NYC, and I sure am glad I don’t have to drive that far to get it! My next Unilocal review will probably be for Weight Watchers, thanks to Cocoa Cabana.

The best Chocolate covered Toffee around, if not the world. There Toffee melts in your mouth, not all hard like most that sits out too long. We’ve tried quite a few of thier treats & the Dark Chocolate is awesome as well. They even have sugar free gum mi letters for the kids, mine thought it was real. This place is hard to find cause the store front faces south, looking away from the side street that leads to the land of goodness. Hwy 31 is closest main road. It is totally worth the effort to find if u like/love Toffee as much as I do. The owner is way cool and loves talkin candy, shocker! Make this a must stop by on your way or even close to West Dundee, u too shall feel the love

As a chocolate lover I heart Cocoa Cabana! I went there with my coworkers today and this hidden place going to be my top favorite on my list in Dundee area. All the home-make gourmet chocolate really melt my heart, the owner so friendly to give some potato chocolate chips sample for us to try. Wow, it was so good and they have a good variety of chocolates, ice-cream and coffee. I ordered Mocha’ Latte and it tasted so good, better than Starbucks! What a chocolate lover’s paradise!
