Jama’s Cafe

I am gonna have to bump Jama’s up to a five star review. I’ve tried a lot more of their dishes since my initial review and have never been let down!
curry chicken. Columbian chicken stew. Monte Cristo sandwich with spicy roast pork. huge cold cut sandwiches and wraps (my favorite: the Bronx Bomber, which consists 4 types of Italian pork-​based cold cuts). steak with rice, beans, plantains, and a fried egg. I could go on…
Jay recently expanded the staff, bringing on another cook and a person dedicated to taking orders and running the cashier. they’re all friendly people and they work fast. Jay runs a well-​oiled machine here!
if you’re ever on the demilitarized zone between New York and Connecticut (no joke, over that fence and you’re in CT), Jama’s is the place to grab a meal at. they may have only limited hours, but the food is top-​notch.
