GBS Browz West Hartford

This place is nothing fancy but they do an excellent job threading eyebrows. Conveniently located but sometimes parking in the area is an issue. Quick and friendly service, reasonably priced. Highly recommend and I will continue to use the service.

I usually get my eyebrows threaded at another salon in West Hartford. For whatever reason they were closed, and I was in desperate need of taming my wild brows. I was in the center and decided to give this place a try. The salon is very clean and the two ladies working were very nice and professional. The lady who threaded my brows made sure to ask how I liked them shaped which was a plus. However one brow came out perfect and the other one not so much. They weren’t shaped the same, one brow was thicker (what i prefer) and shaped better than the other. It wasn’t obvious at first glance but it became very noticeably over time. Besides that my overall experience was good and I if I return, I will make sure I inform them to please make sure my brows are evenly shaped.

Threading over waxing all day. One of my girlfriends introduced me to GBS and I won’t go anywhere else! The ladies who work there are wonderful and do a flawless job! When I go in I’ll show a picture of what I’d like done and it’s spot on every time. Thanks for always taking good care of my brows ladies!

I usually get threaded by someone in Avon, but she was on vacation over Christmas and I needed my brows done, badly. Stopped into GBS at 12:30 on a weekday during lunch and was seen within 10 minutes. There was a comfortable seating area to wait in, which was a plus. The threading was quick and cheap and cost me about $ 20 plus tip for eyebrows and upper/​lower lip. I still prefer my place in Avon, but this place is great in a pinch and very affordable.

I’ve had two bad times going here. They take too much off my brows. I’ve been growing them out for a while and she took way too much off. Not going back.

Love the way eyebrow threading makes my brows look… so much better than plucking or waxing! That’s all I’ve ever come here for and they always to a great job…

This was my first time getting my eye brows threaded so I didn’t know what to expect. But it wasn’t that painful at all! The whole process only took a few minutes and came out amazing. I will absolutely be going back and highly recommend it!

I always get the best compliments on my eyebrows. Love this place. Never going back to waxing and never going anywhere else for threading.

I’m nervous about writing a good review, because I really don’t want this place packed more than it already is sometimes.
But okay. So I am ethnically Indian, I moved to here from California, right near little India (Artesia, CA). We have the best eyebrow threading on the Western Hemisphere out there, trust me about that. Super cheap too.
My point is, I have eyebrows that grow incredibly fast and seriously thick, and I am used to getting my eyebrows done every two weeks on the dot. I freaked out moving to CT, because no offense, but you guys aren’t exactly the most diverse group of people and WHERE THE HELL DO I GET MY EYEBROWS DONE?!
I found this place within the first few weeks of me moving here in August and I knew that I had to look no further. This place is in a great area and it works. The prices aren’t amazing or anything, but they’re pretty average. They’ll do. It’s about $ 8.50 for each threading– plus tips that leaves you at $ 10; I was getting it for $ 5 total in California.
The threading itself is good too. They always do a pretty good job of making sure my eyebrows are top notch. The only thing I’m SLIGHTLY miffed about is the last time I went (yesterday) the lady forgot to trim my eyebrows at the end, so I went to CVS and spent $ 10 on scissors to trim them myself.
Oh, and parking is obnoxious– if it takes longer than 30 minutes, you’re going to have to pay. That’s why I try to come every Sunday when parking in the square is free.

Finding a good eyebrow place in Hartford was almost impossible. I came here all throughout college and they were great. I only saw Kusum – she works Weds through Sunday. She’s the best and the greatest. They also give you a frequent punch card. Get there early though as this place is busy. And they accept tip on credit card.

Great place in West Hartford for threading! The woman was quick and even though there was a line of about six ladies, she was able to help me quickly.
