I came to Susan when my daughter was a couple months old. We had already been working with another IBCLC, but we needed someone more experienced. My daughter was nursing but with difficulty and I was in a lot of pain, even after revising my daughter’s tongue and lip ties. Susan was incredibly patient, kind, and comforting. She gave me hope when I felt like I was losing my mind. I wasn’t able to nurse my first child due to latching issues, terrible advice from lactation consultants, and not enough support. I pumped for him for a long time, but I was determined to breastfeed my daughter. Susan worked with us in her office a couple times, giving us great advice and encouragement. She followed up and always responded quickly. I felt so relieved to have met Susan. I felt like I was on the right path even when things were painful and frustrating. The support she gave us is so priceless.
Thanks to Susan’s encouragement, advice, and support, my daughter is still happily exclusively breastfeeding at almost 8 months old. Best of all, no more pain for me! We have an amazing bond, and the freedom of not needing to pump or prepare bottles is a relief. We also get a LOT more sleep! I can’t thank Susan enough for her guidance and support. Her encouragement and knowledge really made a dream come true for me. I highly encourage moms to call Susan for breastfeeding support!

I contacted Susan about 10 days after my second child was born. I was in a lot of pain from breastfeeding and needed some help. She spoke with me at length on the phone and gave me some immediate suggestions to try prior to my appointment. I met with her at her office location. It was warm, welcoming and comfortable. Susan did a thorough assessment of my daughter. I left my appointment with renewed confidence, an action plan and strategies to help my daughter successfully breastfeed. My daughter is now 10 weeks old and the issues have resolved. I highly recommend Susan if you are in need of breastfeeding support.
