This hotel is definitely nothing fancy. However, the room was clean and spacious. If you need a place to rest your head for a night or two, this will do just fine. My only complaints are that our non smoking room still smelled of stale cigarettes and the breakfast was quite sparse.

This place is horrible. The Indian man at the front desk was of no help and refused to give us a room offering a bunch of technical reasons and excuses. The only help he offered was to leave. Terrible service.

Please note: this review is for the Bradley location Buyer beware! Parking is not included in the price, read ALL the fine print. It says«complimentary self parking» but then at the end it also says«$ 5 a day.» Guess what the hotel manager did? He said everyone is confused by it, they understand it’s unclear, but too bad, you’ll need to pay! Why aren’t they trying to make this clear? I even told him how I had called ahead to confirm everything twice, and to confirm parking and at no point did any staff make an effort to clear this up ahead of time. Too bad. negatives: 1.parking included was not included. 2. The rooms were beat up, synthetic blankets on the bed,(the kind that make you sweat and it can’t evaporate), we could have gotten a higher rated park and fly for far less $$ had we known 3. breakfast included was not good: English muffins were hard and stale, no fruit, just sugary cereal, no coffee ready,(had to ask) pretty minimal effort and minimal variety and value. positives: 1.the bathroom was spotlessly clean. 2.The shuttle was on time 3.Wake up call on time All in all I feel it’s extremely irresponsible of management to know that their advertising is misleading, and to not make any effort to correct this. They just don’t seem to care. Id never go back!

Your typical dive hotel. Burns in the sheets and the cigarette smell was very strong. The room would not get warm and very little hot water. Over all a terrible stay

Nothing wrong with this place during our stay, so perhaps we have been incredibly lucky with hotels, as every one of them has exceeded our expectations. If you’re like us and will not drive, please be warned that the location may not be ideal, although it is surprisingly close to bus and train stops. There’s even a Pizza Hut store right down the street! We had loads of fun walking and taking the bus around on our one night stay in the Haven area. Staff at check in were helpful, the room was huge and very clean, with new furniture, and we had an awesome stay with beautiful memories. Oh, and good price and great free wi-fi!

There are extensive cigarette burns in the bedspread… in a non-smoking room. The smell that others mentioned(carpet glue, perhaps?) is definitely present, but it’s possible to get used to it after a couple of minutes. The wifi is nigh-unusable. This is nothing more than an inexpensive($ 70 for a single bed) place for a weary traveler to lay their head.

No nightmare story, the staff did seem pretty friendly, the room was clean enough where there wasn’t anything specifically wrong with it, though it did have an odd smell. However, the internet didn’t work and the TV only had a few channel’s, not what I’d expect from a chain.

I grabbed this place off Priceline for $ 55 a night, and it was barely worth that. The room smelled horrible when I opened it, bathroom door didn’t close properly.. . There were cigarette burns on the curtains, bedding, lamps, etc. And iron burns in the floor. Yes, an iron. Someone took an iron, or dropped it while ironing, or something, and burned a hole in the carpet. Twice. Who does that? Everything did work otherwise, and the staff was at least friendly. If it was a random flophouse, I wouldn’t mind the condition, but I usually expect a little more standards from an actual hotel chain. Good enough if you aren’t going to spend any time in the hotel, save for sleeping and showering(with the door half cocked), but don’t bother if you’re going for an extended period. That said, the staff, the price, and the fact that despite the semi-permanent damage to the room, it was at least acceptably clean(short of the nasty smell), have saved it from the one star treatment. On a side note, it’s convenient to the freeway, but if you’re actually staying here to be near New Haven, the traffic isn’t as nice as you’d want it to be on 95. You’re better off actually trying to stay in New Haven. That’s my experience, anyway.
