Wok N Roll Buffet

The food are mostly frozen and does not taste good. I saw frozen chicken that are served in public schools. The seafood does not taste good. The only thing i thought was decent were the fries. But then again i can get those at mcdonalds.

Excellent service! You serve yourself! The food is great! Out of this world! That means good. I recommend you take friend, family, and co-​workers. All these years, I never knew food could taste this good. They also give you a variety of seafood, chinese, food, American food and deserts. Michelle C.

In One word, tried this place once and will definitely not go back… Desperate and Hungry, my friend and I after shopping at National Liquidators which is actually right next door we decided to give Wok N Roll Buffet a try… What a mistake that was!!! First of all you walk in and no one is there to greet you, second of all when someone finally shows up it is with an attitude, third of all after we sat down and started to consume our food no one came to ask us if it was ok to remove those already used dishes at our table, last but not least the food is not that great .All being said will never go back and will NOT recommend Wok N Roll to anyone.

I have no complaints about this buffet. The food is delicious and the place is clean. I love coming here anytime I’m in Long-​island shopping at Savers or National Liquidators. It’s conveniently located on Hempstead turnpike and has a parking lot. They have a lot of seating which can accommodate you if you want to have a meeting or something here. Service isn’t over the top but it’s do-​able. Food is nice and hot and always tastes fresh. I wouldn’t say that it’s better than the buffet on Merrick/​Valley Stream but it’s pretty good. Give it a try!

Only gave it one star because you can’t put 0 down. Great place to come if you want to get food poisoning. Tried a whole bunch of stuff and everything tastes horrible. Thought I’d finish the night off with some fruit because you can’t mess that up. WRONG. The grapes were frozen and. The bananas were covered in red syrup. Everything else was from the can.

They get the star for the nice and accommodating owner. The food however is a horrible mix of way below average Chinese, sushi, and a strange selection of American food.
Really bad.

The place has seen better days they need new furniture and it has a light stench that just bothers me whenever I go there, the food is just ok but it’s better surprisingly than other buffets not far from there but just slightly. I don’t like when me and my friends are eating there and there just staring at us the whole time almost like they think were gonna start shoving chicken and rice down our pockets and walk out or something. Anywho it’s kinda dirty in there too most of the time they never turnover the food so it’s not fresh all the time but it’s not stale either. It does have a nice size dine in for large parties though so that’s a plus.

Me and my mom went to eat at this place, we sat down and ordered drinks. i went to Go get food with her at the buffet, full plate i sat down with my Her. As She went to take a sip of her drink she started «COUGHING» and «CHOKING «on something! she just took a small sip! i looked at her in concern as the waiter came over and said it was fresh brewed… Despite the tobacco that I found in my unsweetened ice tea, they claimed they never smoked in the restarunt, yet they hang out smoking in front of it. They tried to reassure me it was a tea leaf, and gave her a free drink. WTF! We both smelled it … and it made us nauseas. When does «One» actually «Look» and «Examine» every detail in your drink? We Had to rush home and «YACK» up everything She ate !!! Still tasting a tobacco chunk stuck in her throat!!!

Whenever I come here, I always leave unsatisfied. The food is very bland, everything tastes the same to me. The turnover rate for the food doesn’t appear to be very high because a lot of the oil and food particles in the dishes seem to coagulate near the surface. Blehcck! Also, the supposed «fresh salad and fruits bar“is full of fruits that look like they have been out for a while. I wouldn’t go near the shrimp over ice. The salad dressing bottles are never capped so they are open to the air and everything in the air. Everything is just questionable. Nothing ever strikes me as «fresh» or «mouth-​watering.»
The whole environment is just as unappetizing as the food. The tabletops are always sticky. The hot sauce bottle never has a cap and is also always sticky. The seat cushions are falling apart. The red rug is more of a darker red now because it hasn’t been properly cleaned. There are questionable stains all over the rug. Even worse was that the last (and final) time I went there a few weeks back, the waitress brought over a pitcher of water and four cups of ice. I poured water for my family, then myself and just as I was about to take a sip, I noticed something floating in my ice. IT WAS A DEAD COCKROACH! I was beyond disgusted. But wait, aside from that, all the cups my family was given had this mysterious white substance on it which could be easily scraped off with your fingernail. We suspected that it was some sort of batter. That means that someone is either not washing the cups correctly (or at all) or the same people making the food are touching the cups. Either way, my family had enough. We lost our appetite, reported these problems to the manager who still had the nerve to charge us for the 4 plates of food we barely touched. He only offered to take off 10%, which is just a little more than the tax. It is safe to say, that we are NEVER coming back. They are lucky that we have not reported them to the Department of Health yet.

It’s a cheap, halfway-​decent buffet in the middle of a slightly dicey neighborhood. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there, but if I’m in the area and hungry, I’d give it a go again. The wife, however, hated it.
