I like this place but do not be fooled by the name. Its not a quiet sit down bar. It gets packed and loud and it can take a while to order. There is a room in the back and I believe at around 11 they start playing dance music and the place becomes«clubby». It is pretty small so when its packed, its gets stuffy. There is also an outside area where you can smoke. I would recommend this place if you want to get a few drinks and go dancing for a bit but not if you’re looking for a quiet night to chill out. The bartenders and the staff in general is really nice. They have a HUGE vodka selection as well.

This place was cool. Came in on a Saturday night and the place was packed! Beer list was weak. No domestics… All around fun atmosphere. They were playing great music. Nothing but 90’s hip hop and R&B. Great change up from the crap you hear at other bars. The front room can get a little tight but if you venture back there is a large open room with couch seating. All in all really neat place. Next time in in Hollywood I’ll be coming back.

Had an amazing time at this joint. A good mix of people and atmosphere. The front bar is a chill area for socializing, and the back room is an energetic dance room.

Very authentic to Russia! Bartenders are great and when it’s not packed, it’s one of the good bars In the area to swing by and get a drink. In the back there’s another bar that transform into a mini club on packed weekends(where you literally can’t move) smoking section is right in the entry, so whether you’re going in or out, cover your nose

One of my favorite spots in West Hollywood. It’s a Russian themed bar, so expect Lenin and expect him everyone. I think all the Soviet artifacts add to the experience. The drinks are nice albeit a little expensive.

This is a great bar… and I am not a bar person, at all! But we went her for a friends birthday and had an absolute blast! It was a fun crowd, the drinks were great, and the service was good too!

If you want to come to a bar with a Russian theme that hires comedians that make fun of Russians while the owner goes Stalin iron curtain on you telling you to hush this is the place to go. No class. I’m embarrassed to be part of a culture they’re «representing». Not in my name.

Cool atmosphere, good prices. I love the scene, in that you can go there to dance, or sit in a booth, or hang out in the less crowded room. However the DJ is literally the worst DJ I have ever heard in my life. I truly mean the worst I have ever heard… He literally will not let a song play longer then 20 seconds… If your lucky. More often for 10 seconds. Love the vibe, love the atmosphere. PLEASEGET A NEWDJ

Bar Lubitsch is a chill, low key bar on week nights and a hopping bar with a packed dance floor on the weekends. Normally I’m not in the mood for a dance floor kind of bar, but Lubitsch is different somehow. It’s not as intense and there aren’t a bunch of creeper guys around. Most people seem to be just having fun with their friends or their date. Not a lot of pretentious vibes here– from the patrons or the bartenders. In keeping with the history and theme of the bar, they offer a huge variety of vodkas here. I like trying out the cocktails any bar I go to, and they’re a little pricey here at $ 12 each. They’ve also got about an assortment of bottled beer like Stella, Peroni, Amstel, etc. They play some good 90s throwbacks and remixes on the weekends. Since there’s a front bar and a back bar by the dj, you can hang on whichever half of the building you’re in the mood for. And there’s a front porch area for anybody out there who still smokes! One weird thing is the way the bathroom stall doors only cover from about your nose to your knees. It’s a random thing to complain about, but it throws me off a little every time I walk in– it’s awkward being able to make eye contact with ppl outside the stall while you’re inside the stall. I DO like the way everything around Lubitsch closes by 8pm, so parking is a breeze. This is usually a struggle in West Hollywood. Overall, great atmosphere! A really fun bar

Loved this casual bar! The drinks were delicious. My favorite was the«taste of lubitsch» and the«Moscow mule». Vodka is their specialty so hopefully you like Russian Standard in everything, Went specifically for the Thursday comedy show with Josh and Josh. The show was free and the quality of the comedians were better than some other shows I’ve paid for. The seating area becomes crowded by 8:30 so get there early!

I love this bar! I came here a couple years ago and I’ve enjoyed it ever since. The crowd is fun and the drinks are phenomenal. I had the Garden of Alla. It’s on their cocktail list it’s one of the BEST cocktails I’ve ever had. It’s flavorful with a hint of sweetness. It is made with pineapple infused vodka, cranberry juice, Cointreau, and lime juice. I would come back here simply to have this drink again. This is a fun place to go with friends if you’re in the mood for a bar vibe that is young and hip.

I have been to this bar only once on a weekend, it was a great party. The bar was crowded, nice music and cool people! What I don’t like though is the music getting low at 1.30am and lights being on :)

Bar Lubitsch is typical, typical LA. I don’t even mean this in a bad way, it just is. The crowd is slightly broish. Hot guys and girls flocking about, sipping on their PBRs and cocktails. The inside is cool, slightly crowded but nothing too bad. Drinks are strong and inexpensive. I appreciate that. People pretty much stick to their crowd. Even though I’ve made plenty of drunk friends hanging out in the entrance with friends sharing a cig. My biggest gripe with this place is their music selection. Sorta sucks. Not that I don’t mind rocking out to Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys, I just don’t want to do that on my Saturday nights when I’m at a bar. Maybe that’s just me though. Top 40 at least man. I don’t know but I can never get down with the music. DJ didn’t even let me make a request either. Boo! Sucks too because their back area is massive with a sizable dance floor. Meh…I don’t ever need to come back here. Better bars in LA that play better jams.

I don’t recommend coming here with a big group of people… The manager was very rude to some of my friends simply for just standing in line to use the restroom and was completely disrespectful. It’s unfortunate that such a cool bar is managed by a such a mean person. Overall, this bar has a cool vibe and a good crowd of people… Just don’t come with a group of friends and stay away from the manager.

Best drinks in town! Just left and will be back for sure! Ask Michael the best bartender for his favorite cucumber drink and thank me later! It’s not often that you see someone that actually put everything in the drink that he makes! Great customer service, great music and they have smoking area which made it even better

I absolutely loved this place. I know, it’s WeHo and allegedly very 22 years old… but I don’t care. IT’S DARLING. It’s a gem. It’s in the weirdest place, but it’s amazing. I loved the vibe. The Moscow Mule is ALLIT’S CRACKEDUPTOBE. Best one that I’ve ever had. Annnd, the bartender was quick and nice! The décor in this place is awesome. I felt like I was no longer living in 2015. I was hitting it up for Sunday Night Sex Talks. The ladies that performed were lovely. Sooo funny. The audience was GREAT. I definitely want to go again. I’d recommend this place for a nice bar, to go to shows, anything! Loved.

It’s a trendy bar, but that doesn’t make it one of my favorites in West Hollywood. The drinks are a tad too expensive and not strong enough for my tastes, which make it an unlikely destination if I’m just catching up with friends during the week. I will give it credit though, the back dancing room can be a great time, even when it’s packed –in and crowded. But it certainly helps to have done your drinking elsewhere beforehand. For smokers(though I am not among them), I am told that the front patio area can be a little hard to carve out a space to grab a quick smoke before reentering the bar. It’s not a problem for me, but with long lines on the weekends, it could make reentry a little bit complicated.

One of my favorite places to go to. Seriously pretty fun if you like to dance dance with your party pants pants. Errrr not really a loungey place. Yeah there are some tables but honestly you should just go to the back of the bar where the floor is at! It’s great!!! There’s a small area in front with a bar, and then go to the back where a bigger dance floor area is with another bar. It can get crowded-ish but the music is pretty fun from old school stuff to top 40’s.

First time being at this bar. We came here on a Saturday so we were expecting a big crowd. Parking around there sucks but they have a valet service right in front for $ 6. We probably got there a little early because it wasn’t super packed until about 12am. The DJ was playing random throwbacks and current music as well. When you first walk in there’s a crowded bar and as you walk in you’ll pass the bathrooms and into the next room will be the dance floor as well as another bar. All in all, it was pretty fun. I liked the vibe.

it’s Friday night, and I am ready to party!(Well, as ready as a grandma can be. Yep, I just hit my late 20s, and I can’t party as hard anymore. The sad life…) Bar Lubitsch is a trendy Russian themed bar that is pretty awesome in my book! In the front, there is a huge bar and quite a bit of booth seating. My group chilled there for a few beers before heading to the back… which was an epic dance party room! They played pretty great music to dance to. I love a bar that has a lounge and dance floor. $ 6 – 7 beers and $ 10 – 12 cocktails(Moscow Mule, anyone?) will keep you alchy-happy for the night.
