First visit, was good though, but still not sure about the place, I’ve tried a lot of indian places and each one has its own touch, so if you didn’t like it here you could like it in other places, and same thing if you like it here it could be different in other places, Bryani was good, samosa wasn’t Chicken Tikka Masala was good too and don’t remember other stuff but anyways I should try it again to make sure

Loved the Shahi Paneer over here, as well as the papad and chutney they give at the start.

Best India food in LA! I always order from here. The Saag is amazing! The chicken tikka masala is so flavorful and delicious.

I get take out from here at least once a week– love it! My favorite is the makhni paneer with basmati rice, naan, and a mango lassi. Take out can definitely take awhile to arrive, but it’s worth it.

Curry chicken tasted like dirty dishwater. The meat was cheap and stringy, not to mention it tasted gamy and questionable. Oh, and no curry flavor either. Disgusting. Sent it back. Brought me Chicken Tikka Masala – sauce tasted like a can of Spaghetti’O’s with a little bit of spice mixed in there. I guess since Dolly Parton likes it, it’s supposed to taste good? She must be a basic lady who likes her Chef Boyardee. Based on the appalling food I had there today, this place gets a big old«What-The-F**k-Is-This??» from me. Definitely NOT the caliber of delicious Indian food I know and love.

Lamb biryani was very delicious(although i had a strange moment of tasting beef but after looking at the meat under light I’m sure it’s lamb, just a funny moment). Lamb kabob, spot on, and no doubts about what it was. Finishing with a mango lassi which was delicious

Stopped by this cute little corner restaurant last night. We were seated immediately. The restaurant is nicely decorated. We ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb curry. Both had amazing flavor. The garlic naan went perfectly with both dishes. The waiter was attentive and the employees were very nice. We will definitely be back!

Wow! Being Indian myself I don’t ever order from an Indian takeaway or go to an Indian restaurant as the food is never as good as I can cook at home myself. Gave this a go as I was outnumbered by my friends on what kind of takeaway to get one night. I am so glad I did try it as the food was delicious! Almost as good as my mums cooking! The paneer was delicious! The only reason I took stars away was because the delivery took 2 hours the first time I ordered and the second time-just now the delivery guy dropped my food off and was really rude! Also the Biriyani was dry with no sauce. Everything else was spot on though! Would love to go and visit the restaurant and take some friends next time! Looks very cute ;) *UPDATE Just opened the tub of paneer and there are only 6 tiny pieces of Paneer in the curry!!! What a rip off! I think the delivery guys must have ate it ok the way here :(

My friends and I scheduled a lunch on Sunday at 1130am, the time the restaurant is supposed to open. We waited outside until 1145am and then knocked on the door. An employee comes out and notified us that the restaurant would open an hour late because they didn’t clean the kitchen. I repeat, they were opening an hour late cause the kitchen WASN’T CLEAN!

One of my favorite late-night dinner spots in LA. Whenever I’m craving Indian food(which is very often), this is one of the first places that come to mind. It’s right on the corner, and although parking is hard to find, the valet is inexpensive and helpful, even bringing our keys in to us while we were seated at the restaurant. The menu is easy to navigate and the food comes out in good time. One of my favorite dishes is the Butter Chicken and the Chicken Pakora. My friend’s favorite dish is the Chicken Biryani, which is made to his spice preference and always impresses him. The ambiance of the place is also soothing and beautiful, you can sit on the elevated platform or underneath the lights. Excited for my next trip there!

I came with a group of 3 for dinner and the restaurant was pretty much empty except for another table. We were sitting for 10 min and had no one come by to serve us our drinks or take our order. I could understand if the restaurant was busy, but it was completely empty! After we flagged down a waiter we ordered some bhel puri, it arrived promptly, but tasted terrible. I still have no idea what chutneys they tried to incorporate, but it tasted nothing like bhel puri should. It was way too spicy and inedible. After that we wanted to try one more item on the menu to decide if we should stay for dinner or not. We ordered vegetarian pakora, and for some reason received bhajia instead(not even listed on the menu). It tasted good, but it definitely wasn’t what I ordered. We asked for the bill right after that and went to a different Indian restaurant. This restaurant was completely inauthentic, which is ironic since it’s owned by Indians. It also has very poor customer service.

Wonderful atmosphere. Came here on a double date, didn’t know what to expect. We ended up sitting at a corner table on tiny cushion benches w pillows and candle lit. It was so wonderful and romantic. Wonderful food as well. We will come back!

Had early dinner with my friend. Food was delicious. Service on point. Location and vibe is great as well. Plus there is a pretty good Unilocal deal.

Horrible POS service, and overpriced to boot. A friend suggested I try this place, as I have tried and loved many Indian restaurants in LA. I ordered entrees and some apps online through GrubHub, but they arrived with no rice and the«chutney side» I ordered was just one tamarind chutney – which had already come with my samosas. The guy over the phone tried to tell me that no rice included with entrees was«standard» at Indian restaurants. Nice try, but I’m no noob. He asked me if I had specified which chutney I wanted – which I hadn’t, because there was no place to select a choice of chutney, so I had assumed(perhaps foolishly?) that paying extra would mean I would receive extra multiple chutneys. You know, those things that generally come included free of charge when you order Indian food, especially samosas and bread. He then tried to charge me $ 10 and told me it would take 30 minutes for delivery of rice and chutney. I told him no thanks and asked to speak with a manager, at which point he hung up on me. First and last time I spend money on this joint. Not worth the overpriced headache.

Found this place a little up north from the new neighborhood and it seriously could not get any better! We’re a bit further from our usual spots(and dosas!), but this place really makes up for it. Looks like we found our new go-to Indian spot in the neighborhood! :) My friend and I saw they had this vegetarian meal for two that included: drinks, samosas, salad, two curries, naan, and a dessert. All for a great price of about $ 23 /person after tax and tip. We’ve been here twice and every time we are delighted with the meal and extremely full. I usually get the mango lassi for drinks and the pistachio kulfi for dessert(to share). We always get the paneer masala and switch up the second curry.(First time, we got the Aloo Matter; second time, we got the Dal of the day.) Every time has been wonderful. The portions are great. The curries taste wonderful. One thing to note — I wish they gave an extra basket of naan since this meal is technically for two! But other than that, I have nothing to complain about. The deal on Unilocal!is also a great thing to use. On top of that, the staff is super friendly. The place is a great location with beautiful lights and a nice covered patio section. I personally love the back area with the comfy ‘couch’ seats. It makes the setting more intimate and fun! Some people mention to me that the prices are a bit too high, but I personally think the prices are great!(Compared to all the other Indian places I have been to, they are comparable!) I can’t wait to come back to this place and try the frankie — my friends got it last time and it was gigantic! Would love to take that to-go and have it for work the next day! I also heard the have the masala dosa(which is my favorite!). I can’t wait to come back and try their dosas… super excited :) Or even try their take-out menu one day! Definitely check Flavor of India out! It is great for late night eating, large parties, date-night, etc. If you don’t want to deal with parking, bring some extra cash(I believe $ 5⁄6) for valet parking.

This review is for their garlic naan, samosa, and their chicken tikka masala… The absolute worst tikka masala I have ever had. It was just spicy tomato sauce. It literally tasted like spicy spaghetti sauce. My foodie expert friends were soooo disappointed in this dish. The chicken was so dry that it was inedible. Their garlic naan was okay but it was super brittle and dry, naan should be full, and fluffy. Their samosas were confusing, it reminded me of a deep fried French fry in a cone shaped with vegetables. Overall I won’t be back. They do have super fast delivery though
