The Gym On Nemo

It is a perfect private, hidden gym. The location is easy to find, parking is never an issue. Unlike most other personal training studios that have the space but lack the amenities, this place has it all… Literally. Showers, skin, body and hair care products and tools. Hey, they even have the D & G Light Blue perfume, there. It’s super clean, has customizable music, latest and greatest fitness toys. A+++ all around.

The Gym On Nemo and working with owner, Fedele De Santis has given me tremendous hope — to finally have control over my weight by losing nearly 100 lbs in six months and to build physical strength. Prior to starting with Fedele, I felt like a victim of my weight– I had been diagnosed with PCOS and was working with a number of nutritionists who had me on controlled calorie counts, medications and work out plans. My weight would never budge… I was desperate and was being encouraged to get weight loss surgery. Furthermore, my immune system was on decline– I was always sick.
I came to Fedele through a friend referral as a last resort. He put me on a strict diet and work out plan that allowed me to shed at least six pounds a week. I couldn’t believe it I had never seen weight loss like that in my entire life. The ongoing weight loss and compliments from my peers propelled me to continue. Fedele pushed me in ways that I didn’t know was possible yet his work outs were not complicated or uncomfortable, they were bolstered with knowledge to allow me to shed nearly 100 lbs. Fedele’s support and care is unmatched. He treats all of his client’s like family and has allowed me to achieve fitness goals that I never knew I had or knew were possible– including wearing a bikini this summer for the first time in my entire life. Thank you Fedele.

The best gym in Los Angeles by far. It’s private, and yes a lot of celebs go there, but it’s not pretentious. It is very comfortable and elegant. It has everything you need. Full Pilates Studio, cardio equipment, weights, and the locker rooms are done with great style: I highly recommend this place!

Over-​rated.
I am a trainer and have 8 yrs experience, working with Hollywood elite. This gym is priced for Beverly Hills with a $ 25per hour fee per client. It is disjointed specially with equipment in random locations (ie different leg machines in different rooms… Why not put them together?) and the ambience is quiet and awkward. Music doesn’t fill the space and trainers can connect their own iPods to play in different rooms.
Staff are friendly and welcoming and te bathrooms are nice and clean towels are provided too. So there is good and bad. for $ 25 p/​h I expect more.

This beautiful private gym tucked away on the corner of Nemo St. and Santa Monica Blvd, just one block east of Doheny, has been my health fitness center for the past five years. The Gym on Nemo is strictly a private training gym meaning you go and work out with a trainer. But you may also go into the gym at any time without a trainer and do cardio for just $ 10.
There are many certified, licensed and insured trainers to choose from to suit your fitness needs whether it is weightlifting, yoga, Pilates or cardio. Depending on the trainer, a one hour session can run $ 85 to $ 175. If you already have your own private trainer and you would like to try the Gym on Nemo, you can do that too.
The owner Fedele DeSantis, also my personal trainer, takes great pride in his facility. You can tell by the way he keeps the gym running in tip, top shape. For example, the equipment is custom and state of the art, there are many televisions to watch and improvements and upgrades are made without you even noticing. It is a very welcoming environment and one feels extremely comfortable here unlike other large gyms where you quite often feel the opposite.
This gym DOES NOT require a yearly or even monthly membership and parking is easy to find on the street or in the private lot.
