Small coffee shop which I’ve frequently mainly since it’s attached to the WeHo Library. The hours are also concurrent with the libraries, ie not open Sundays. Lattes are okay, a little bit dilute tasting. As far as food, they have a case of pastries, occasionally have quiches, and also have tamales on Tuesdays. Baristas are friendly. The shop itself doesn’t have much seating, but is attached to a «public space» which has coffee-shop like seating and wifi that is provided by the city. Attached parking garage validates at the library for 3 hours.

I’m not a crazy Unilocaler, but this place deserved a review. They put lots of work into their coffee drinks and it is delicious! The latte I had tasted delectable and the scone was deliciously fattening in the best way possible. Plus, parking is easy and free for the first hour. I would come back and visit Sarah(one of the baristas) any day of the week as long as she continues to make my latte like she did today.

I’m only giving this a third star for the pastries! I didn’t know this was a corner quick stop next to the library since the way it’s advertised is a cute coffee shop, but it’s a super tiny corner. Ordered a small coffee and it was super mediocre! Tasted watered down and cheap. It was only $ 1.45 so I wasn’t too mad, but I definitely expected more. If you’re looking for good coffee, this isn’t the place. But the pastries were really good!

Tamale Tuesday! To be totally honest, this place is good and my latte was great, but if not for Tamale Tuesday I probably wouldn’t have ended up here because there are a lot of coffee shops/cafes in LA that are a lot cuter, have more ambiance and are more enjoyable in terms of getting some work done. BUT, that was one DAMN good tamale — not overspiced, not too spicy, not too bland, the chicken mole was really perfect. They have outdoor seating, seating inside the café, and an extended room that is closer to the library entrance.

Coffee, coffee, how I do like you in the morning. The lattes here are rich and smooth. I always feel as though I’ve treated myself when I come here for a latte. I haven’t had bad service yet and the music is always interesting and just the right volume. It’s good here. Go!

Amazing coffee, and the atmospherre couldn’t be much better. Conviniently under the library, for a quick Cap and back to work. Will definitely be coming back more frequently. Barista was quite hospitable, coffee had an amazing flavor and the simplicity made it easy to sit back with a little kid’s book and enjoy my cappuccino, forget about all my worries and truly relax.

Snuggled in a corner of the West Hollywood Library, this modern coffee house offers something for every coffee lover and Tamale lover! TAMALETUESDAY! You heard me right, a coffee house that serves tamales. And yummy tamales at that. I recommend the chicken mole version, but they also offer pork tamales, chili chicken with green chili sauce and chili cheese. I have never tasted the pork or cheese, but if they are even half as good as the others then you are in for a major treat.

Was slightly put off by their«cancer» signs posted in the store so I jokingly requested my coffee«cancer free» and they completely seriously came back with«all coffee has carcinogens and that Starbucks pays big bucks in fines each year so that they don’t have to post those warning signs»… Really??? I will not be back.

The Pasadena masters of coffee come to West Hollywood. This is absolutely the best coffee in our region. They are environmentally responsible and even select the best organic milk to accompany their coffee. Please support this business because it is amazing. If you park in the library PUBLIC lot, it’s 1 hour parking free.

The best coffee shop/café! Incredible staff, consistent great service. It’s so nice to have this café attached to the WH library!

This is a much smaller version of the Jones Coffee Roasters I am used to seeing in Pasadena. It also appears that they have a scaled down version of their caffeinated menu from the Pasadena location. It is conveniently located right below the West Hollywood Library where you could purchase a beverage before going to the library. FYI, the library allows you to bring in a beverage with the stipulation that it contain a lid. There seems to be a reasonable amount of seating both in the interior and exterior space. It sports a great view of San Vicente Blvd along with the Pacific Design Center. I do love Jones’ Coffee as their brews are really strong.

I love me some Jones Coffee. It’s such a sweet little spot under the library. It’s never overly crowded and no long queues out the door to get coffee(like Urth — who queues that long for a coffee, really?!) My years living in New Zealand turned me into a total coffee snob and I will say that Jones satisfies these coffee connoisseur tastebuds. I always opt for a double espresso to ensure my addiction is taken care of for the day. Derek, Sarah and Tyler are awesome. Always so friendly. Tip: Leave a dollar tip — Derek has a fish fetish ;)

BESTCOFFEEEVER! I particularly love the Pasadena Blend, but anything from Jones’ is good, I have yet to have a coffee or pastry that I did not enjoy to the fullest at any of their locations.

I cannot begin to say how much I love this place! I normally don’t write reviews but the service and coffee are so exceptional I had to! My favorite is the almond milk pumpkin spice latte– Derek and Sara are my favorite baristas there, always super friendly and they get my drink just right. I’m kind of a coffee snob, I’ve been to Itelligencia, Casbah, Pete’s, Lamill– but so far this is my fav place to hit up, do not pass up the chance to get your daily fix here :)

I was Jones’in for it, now I’m condones’in it, and soon my glutes will be atones’in for it cause I just broke into my new favorite cafeteria! To set the scene, hum to yourself a smooth children’s lullaby like Prodigy’s «Smack My B*** Up»… are you doing it? Domestic abuse remiss, this is the finest mug of Indonesian-draino I’ve chugalugged in Fancytown, yet! I sulked in to find some very attractive people behind the counter and after giving them a rundown of my oft-harangued pick-up limericks… oh… you want to hear one? I once met a saucy barista, and offered to show her my vista, They said in reply, Listen here guy, I’d sooner bed San Juan Batista I don’t know why it didn’t work, maybe I didn’t shout it loud enough, maybe it’s cause I was disrobing; either way don’t let my actions deter you, this California Jones can Raid my Ark any day of the week!

These guys do such nice stuff. Great coffee they roast themselves, and pastries from the nearby and venerable Susina. All in fairly tight quarters. Oh, they also have Tamale Tuesdays and other savories that are prepped by other vendors. It all looks, and tastes lovely. And you can’t beat the lobby adjacent to the WeHo County Library.

Holy smokes! If there ever was a near perfect place to sip coffee and study/do laptop work, this it pretty much it. I write and work remotely, so I am always in search of decent coffee houses to sit at for extended periods of time(hey, I buy stuff!). Coffee Commissary has way better coffee and the Egg Slut truck out front, but it’s way louder/harder to find a good seat/hard to find outlets. Pros: –Lots of tables and chairs(no sofas) = good for studying –Classical music played(softly) –Floor to ceiling glass windows all throughout space, lets in lots of natural light, beautiful, minimalistic architectural quality –Quiet area across the street from Pacific Design Center/next to WeHo Library –Parking available(but it’s a bit tricky, I’ll get to that in a minute) –Quiet atmosphere, most people are here solo reading, etc –Outlets available –They do have musical events at night sometimes so it can be social too. Cons: –Small menu, just a few pastries, quiche, and coffee/tea –Not as good of coffee as the Jones in Pasadena(still decent/passable) –Parking is weird: there is a public lot, which is free for the first hour, second hour free with validation, but I have no idea where to validate b/c it’s not at Jones. There is a library parking lot next to it that is very small, and often full, but if you can, use this because the first 3 hours are free with library validation. Score! Happy coffee-ing!

A great place in the same building as the slick WeHo Library, across from the PDC. I must say, they make fine espresso drinks, although sometimes the drip leaves a little something to be desired(depending on the type of coffee and roast). However, all the drinks taste better to me than Urth and Pain Quotidien around the corner on Melrose. Granted, Jones has a much more limited menu, but you’re not coming here for your usual breakfast of «Moon over My Hammy». BTW: the scones are REALLY good, especially the raspberry polenta. And they let me use my Square app to pay, so I walk out feeling all so digitally urban. Nice people there, too!

What do we have here? A little Pasadena roasted coffee bean staple at the base of the new WeHo library? Finger tap on the nose, indeed. I’m so thrilled that Jones popped up here about a monthish ago and even more thrilled that I happened upon it while arriving at the library an hour before it opened. I ended up never actually making it to the library because the setting at Jones was so conducive to laptopping it up for the day(free wifi complements of West Hollywood, also). There’s only one available outlet(in the foyer of the building, not actually in Jones), but I was able to scoop it up so I was in battery charge heaven. The place is clean and modern with a few orange Ikea looking tables inside and outside. While I only had an iced coffee($ 4), I was intrigued by their food menu that features things like Tamale Tuesdays($ 2.50 each), sandwiches(Mondays and Thursdays) and salads(Wednesdays and Fridays) for a decent price. They also host a book club meeting once a month(or maybe week) in conjunction with the library. I hope everyone who makes a visit to the library stops by Jones for a beverage or a bite.
