I did the cheap haircut route for years because I was hesitant to make the investment. When a friend recommended Fabian to me just one cut made me realize it was well worth spending more. He has consistently given me really great cuts and always hears and honors my wishes while still guiding me towards what he knows will work best for my hair. Go see him!

This place is awesome. I’ve known Ross for years and he’s one of the nicest coolest people I’ve met in the last 16 years I’ve been in LA. Every single time I get my hair cut there I leave so happy with my hair cut and feeling great. He does your hair EXACTLY how you like it done every time. I’m always so glad I went. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. It’s always so good to see Ross and Fabian and the rest of the staff. And it’s such a beautiful studio — so clean with cool décor and great music. You really feel surrounded by good vibes. If you haven’t been here yet then GO! You will never want to go anywhere else again! :)

I have known the owner Ross for a very long time from the WEHO neighborhood. But I had never gone to him personally to get my hair done… until yesterday. OMG! I have been missing out on him for the last twenty years and I live right behind his shop! I needed my hair blonded (highlighted) and at the last minute he was kind enough to take me. In all the years I’ve been getting my hair blonded I’ve NEVER had a hairdresser get it right the first time… and I am picky picky picky! He is so fast and knows EXACTLY WHAT U WANT and doesn’t keep u sitting there for hours on end. Went to my hosting class right after and my coach said it’s the BEST my hair EVER LOOKED! Shooting my videos for my utube channel Friday and now I know I will look my best! The only negative review he has on Unilocal was written by an ex employee that had to be let go of so take my word people… Ross lujan salon rocks!

This review is for Lindsey, who works upstairs in this studio and does amazing cut and color. The first time I went to her it was with dark brown dyed hair that I was looking to turn blonde. She excitedly went through things we could do with it, and I was impressed by how she was both very attentive to what I wanted and ready to make suggestions when I wasn’t sure. After I decided what I wanted, Lindsey then wound up giving me amazing highlights that varied almost hair by hair and, like the cut she also gave me, grew in beautifully.
Since then she remembers what I got last time perfectly but is ready to do something fun and new each time, and is friendly and funny to boot. Booking an appointment is very easy, and she always encourages me to call afterward if I freak out a week later and want to change something. After moving here from NYC it took me a long time to find a hairdresser I loved, but Lindsey is definitely the best!

I’ve been going to Anthony to get my haircut for around 6 years and I’ve always been happy with his work. Besides being an excellent stylist, Anthony (Tony) is very nice, pleasant and personable. I highly recommend him!

LOVE my haircut with Lindsey! She cut 8″ off and gave me the cutest short hairstyle, exactly what I wanted. It was my first time with her and I was a little nervous. I have thick asian hair and a lot of it. past stylists have mentioned that its difficult to cut. Lindsey is so confident and skillful with her scissors, and she really listens to what you want. She also gave my boyfriend a great haircut and was wonderful with my 6 yr old daughter’s hair as well!

Could not recommend higher! Fabian’s been cutting my hair for over five years and nails it every time. Ever since he moved to the Ross Lujan Studio, every visit has been fun, welcoming and even more high-​quality than before. :) I love coming here and every visit feels like a return to family!

Great salon! If you need a good haircut definitely see Anthony Markeith. He has been cutting my hair for over a year now. Does an amazing job! If you need a hair stylist you will not go wrong with him.

Let me start by saying that I normally HATE going to get my hair cut. So much so that I had been doing it myself for most of the past 8 years or so. A friend of mine I trust who has been going to him for years recommended Ross and so one day when I was too busy and really sick of the hit or miss results I always get cutting my own hair I finally made an appointment. Boy, am I glad I did. Ross is not only a really great guy but a master at what he does. I haven’t liked any stylist enough to want to go back in nearly 20 years, now I go to see Ross at least once a month. I also REALLY appreciate the fact that the salon is beautiful, clean, and at a comfortable temperature. It takes all the stress out of something that normally stresses me out. Combined with the fact that my hair looks better than it has in years, this was a great discovery. My highest recommendation. OH, and btw, I see as many women there as men and they always look freaking AMAZING so definitely recommended for women as well.

Had a great experience with Dina! I’ve had my hair cut by many hair dressers and I can honestly say that Dina is by far the best. I’m very meticulous about how I like my hair and Dina was able to incorporate what I’m comfortable with as well as make great suggestions that I ended up really liking. Definitely going back!!!

Dina is amazing!!! I had long boring hair before I went to see Dina. I told her I wanted something fun and sexy and that’s EXACTLY what I got! She did a great job. I received so many compliments afterwards. Besides the fact that she made my hair look awesome she was really friendly and easy to get along with. I definitely found my new hair dresser!!!

Fabian is amazing! If you have Jewish, Mexican, textured hair or curls and have a hard time finding someone who can deal with all that than look no further. After I was done none of my friends or coworkers recognized me. Total transformation and perfect. Thank you for helping me look amazing!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Ross for about 8 years now and he always does a fantastic job whether it’s color, highlights, or just a cut. Ross and his staff are awesome and make everyone feel like a rockstar! The prices are extremely fair as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Thank God I finally found Ross! For any guy in LA who is looking to find a great hair stylist– Ross is the guy to see. I’ve lived in the area for a few months and have had a hard time finding someone I like to cut my hair. I came to Ross Lujan Studio and told him I didn’t know what to do with my hair, so he just worked some magic and less than an hour later I was getting more compliments on my hair than I’ve had in years.
The guys who work at this salon are hilarious and super easy to talk to. No attitude at all, they make you feel comfortable, look like a million bucks, and the prices are exactly what they should be! I hate going to salons where it costs $ 100 for a so/​so men’s haircut. Ross knows how cut and style guy’s hair, and it won’t break the bank. I highly recommend this place and have already encouraged my buddies to go here as well. You won’t regret it!

I’ve lived in LA for about two and a half years without a haircut; partially, because my split ends suddenly subsided — but mostly because my stylist is up in Corvallis, Oregon. It’s a little far for just a trim, so I’ve put it on hold for a long while now.
The other week, when I was at Stark at the Face Place, I noticed that there was a salon a few doors down. I asked the receptionist what she thought of the salon, or if there was even anything to consider — she told me to run in after my appointment with them and see for myself. What I didn’t know is she went and told the lovely gents at the salon I’d be coming by as well.
From the second I walked into the salon, Fabian made me feel at home and at ease. We talked for only a few moments but he basically had me at ‘Hello’; he’s charming, professional and knows damn well what he’s doing with your tresses. Also, not like it’s of consequence, but he has the most ADORABLE toy poodle (named Doodle!).
When I came back the next day, we hung out a little, talked the talk and then we walked the walk — this is a week later and I’m still basking in the light of my hair trim. Love is an understatement; I feel sexy — it’s great! When you walk away feeling this good, who really cares how much it costs? Well, lots of people — for a hair trim, shape and style it only came out to $ 75. $ 75 for a week (+) of feeling pure bliss? TOTALLY worth it.
