Went there tonight; the food and drinks were great, but man… there was the most obnoxious bar tender/worker there. He was having a conversation right next to the bar that so many patrons could hear. Literally the most vomit-inducing conversation with a girl(with the most obnoxious laugh) that used to work there? He was talking about his drug benders and how many women he’s slept with and that he uses a Dr. at Cedars Sinai(dr Paul) to give him free STD checks? Like wtf you are working and behind the bar and ppl that are eating and drinking can hear you. This dude was so nasty. All that aside, like I said the food and drinks were great but don’t get close to the bar staff… maybe they need a lesson in professionalism.

«It was a stormy night,…You know the kind where the lightning strike(s). And I was hangin’ out wit some of my „artsy“ friends — Ooh wee ooh wee ooh… The night was long,… the night went on,… people coolin’ out until the break of dawn. Incense was burnin’ so I’m feelin right — aight’…» #erykah-badu-appletree ^ ________________________ Yea, I’d say — that finger snappin’, bass hittin’ melodic tone by Miss Badu, is pretty much on point to adequately capture the essence derived at WeHo’s «Belmont». This chic, industrially inspired, upscale, restaurant/bar/gastropub located on La Cienega just after the Beverly Center when trekking into WeHo…(but before reaching both Willoughby and Santa Monica Blvd.) was just enough to give us our lives this past weekend. Sauntered in on a Saturday morning and as most have mentioned, parking is a bit of a challenge. We managed to score a meter that we reserved no hesitation in feeding simply because WeHo does NOT discriminate when issuing parking citations. #parking-warzzzz Walking in to the relatively quaint outdoor seating area, it’s easy to fall in love with this place. Saturday, having been somewhat on the misty side — the patio was aligned with befitted heat lamps. This made for quite the cozy experience as we requested our«Bloody’s» and«Mimi’s»… For what it’s worth and while the ambiance at this joint is perfect for a date night or even more so, to bring your mistress to, people watching while downing poison from the patio is what affords this place their FIFTH star! We literally saw RuPaul(not really), Lenny Kravitz(quite possibly his distant cousin) and Lindsay Lohan(or rather, her just as «tossed» alter ego) within FIVE minutes of being seated. I was too tossed to be star struck but having dined among these wanna’ be celebs’, the experience alone was duly as noteworthy! […Back to our scheduled programming…] Provided you’re in the vicinity, famished or just in search of something to do altogether, «The Belmont» has pretty much got your calendar covered. ________________________________ *** Monday’s — The 1st Monday of each month is designated to be «Rock Monday» and while the music conveyed is «rock and roll» — PBR’s are all of $ 3 and whiskey shots hit you up for no mas’ than $ 5.00. *** Tuesday’s — offer a «Trivia Night» whereas prizes of some sort are issued. *** Wednesday’s — are delegated towards $ 6.00 wine and beer. — NEED I SAYMORE??? *** Thursday’s — convey some sort of «Lip Syncing» fiasco. — I’ve been rehearsing my Donna Summers especially for this event. *** Friday’s — dish out another«rock and roll» escapade. — Guess one night a month isn’t enough. *** …and Weekends — feature brunch — offered from 10a — 3p, and need I say, there’s a HAPPYHOUR, from 4−7pm, M-Friday??? Yazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! Damn, I really do have issues. _________________________________ Customer service is at its finest and while the bartenders have all emphatically perfected their craft, the food here is next to sex; okay,… well maybe it just comes close. Having ordered the«Chicken and Waffles»($ 14.00), once again, because we’re black and that’s what we do — please believe that this place gives Roscoe’s a serious RUNFORTHEIRMONEY! I can’t state that I’d ever have infused gravy with maple syrup but bay-behhhhh, this place shuts it down like foe’ flat tires! Add on a few sides, i.e.: bacon(doesn’t bacon make EVERYTHING better?) tater tots and eggs and I knew we’d been dropped off in WeHo Heaven leading me to fervently place«The Belmont» at the VERYFOREFRONT of my list in brunch options. Job well done guys! —— Ooh wee ooh wee ooh…

Great happy hour! Indoor/outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Parking isn’t the greatest, but we’re in LA. Parking is never easy.

They don’t serve tea. As in a plain old tea bag and hot water — don’t have it. And my eggs were cold.

Arguably the best bar in the area. Nice open air outdoor patio and a dark mahogany interior that feels comfortable and welcoming. Plenty of TVs and a projector screen for game days. If you come on Sunday nights for karaōke you’re bound to make a few new lifelong friends, it’s just that kind of place. And the staff is exceptional. Everyone from the managers to the bus boys are approachable and friendly. Food. For bar food? Pretty damn good. I’d even go so far to call it elevated bar food. I’m pretty much addicted to their Brussels sprouts but you really can’t go wrong with their truffle garlic gator tots, especially late night!

Had dinner with my friend yesterday here. Sat inside and we both loved the food. The buff chicken sandwich is really good. It was a little bit noisy with the music, but everything else was great. It is the place that I always recommend my brides-to-be and their families to grab lunch after trying on their wedding dresses. Perfect spot to be!

I came here for a brunch meeting, as suggested by the other person. The service was kind of careless but the food was delicious(I had the breakfast avocado toast for $ 10) and the Bloody Marys were pretty solid, with a bar inside to add some pickled veg and horseradish, celery, hot sauce, etc. The prices are fair and the vibe is OK. It was easy to find something I liked on the menu. I wouldn’t mind coming back to give it another shot.

Friendly and attentive staff. They have an ample amount of TVs for watching sports and events. I didn’t have a chance to try the food however, everything that I saw coming from the kitchen looked appetizing. Their happy hour special is pretty good. I just wish they had a larger selection of local beers.

Pretty clean American bar. The bartender was super friendly and helpful. Sat at the communal high top and it was pretty nice. — Brussels sprouts were the bomb. Missing them all the way in HK. — Tater tots here will be the largest plate of tots you’ll ever see in your life. Tater tots are always good, but they’re even better when paired with truffle mayo.

Yum! Came here and ordered off the shared menu: crispy chicken sliders & brussels sprouts: both awesome! Chicken sliders were indeed crispy and had an excellent, somewhat sweet slaw(not overbearing) that made it delicious. Can’t forget the soft milky bun! :) Reminded me of a spin of the famous chicken sandwich at honor bar! Brussel sprouts, perfectly cooked, with savory goat cheese that melted just a teeny bit. Every bite was delicious. Didn’t order much, but loved what I got!

Can’t say much in terms of food since we only stopped by for a couple drinks on a Thursday. Our server was very helpful and patient as we struggled to make up our mind from the menu. There is a big Jenga game on the patio which will provide loads of fun. I will definitely come back to try something from the kitchen

I walked in and was greeted Promptly. I was asked if I wanted to sit inside or outside on the patio but inside there tv’s playing march madness games(Indiana vs Kentucky to be exact), so I opted for inside. It was packed inside but somehow I found a booth inside. Oddly enough Victor Cruz(of the NY Giants) was seated at the bar next to me– cool. The waiter was very courteous and quickly took my drink order as I went through the menu. I opted for spicy mac & cheese, sriracha wings, and fish & chips. I was excited when the food came out because I was hungry and the atmosphere of March madness seemed to amplify everything. I soon realized that was due to the ambiance created by The Belmont. The food was great. The wings were a perfect mix between crips and soft, the spicy Mac and cheese was soft yet smooth, creamy, and cheesy, and the fish(from my fish and chips) were perfectly battered with just the right amount of butter and batter. It was cooked to a golden brown and the matching«chips» we’re solid also. The servers and hostesses were all nice and matching the great food. When the Kentucky vs Indiana game ended they started playing music«day party» style then I noticed a an area for a DJ booth set-up which makes The Belmont even more awesome! I can guarantee I WILL be back here at some point and some day soon!

We had lunch here. It’s in a nice location and the weather was beautiful outside. We started off with the spicy mac and cheese, and then i had an iced tea with my Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. Yes, I know… I should have gone with the salad. :-(Not a fan of the Mac & Cheese, but the Chicken Sandwich & Fries are quite amazing. Not to mention the serving sizes are huge here. I was stuffed after finishing everything. The menu has a nice variety of items to choose from. Our waiter was great with bringing everything out quickly and refilling our iced teas. There were a team of them working their way around the tables. The weather was so nice that everyone was sitting outside on the patio. I think this place is pretty busy during the evenings and nights, because it smelled just like a bar or night club inside… like spilled alcohol. I don’t belive they have a designated parking area. We parked at a meter on the street. Check this place out!

I recognize the Belmont may not be a unique establishment as there are many gastropubs located in the city of angels but I enjoy these types of places on a Friday evening. Last night was my first visit. Happy hour was terrific with a less than crowded and comfortable environment. A live band played a mix of American pop, rock, and soul classics at a volume that allowed for conversation at the bar. The bar maintained a decent selection of draft beers and the barmaid, Akari was friendly and attentive. Given it was a Friday during lent I opted for the fish and chips which was prepared at the appropriate crispness and properly portioned at a reasonable price. If the Belmont was located within walking distance of my apartment, I’d probably visit every Friday night. I’ll be back.

Checked this place out after I couldn’t find parking at another restaurant down the street and I was not disappointed! I’m not a huge brussel sprout fan, but my friend was very high on these so we got them as an appetizer. Love these! They’re so tasty you almost forget you’re eating brussel sprouts. They’re topped with bacon though, which probably helps a lot. Had the short rib grilled cheese as an entrée. It’s got gouda, mozzarella, and arugula. Definitely worth checking out!

Me and my friends decided to come here last night for some late night drinks. Considering it was a Saturday night in West Hollywood, it wasn’t that busy. I like this place because you have an option to be seated inside with a loud music and dance next to your table or lounge in the patio and could still enjoy the music but in a lower volume. The DJ was playing good house songs but at the same time, he was annoying for adding extra beats. If you arrive at late hours(10pm onwards), there’s no attendant to seat you basically have to find a table and go to the bar to get drinks. The bartenders are cool and friendly. I got the humble bee cocktail and was not pleased. My friend got the watermelon mojito, which is pretty good. Prices for the drinks are not that expensive but neither cheap. It just depends on what you order. I might come back to this place to try out their food. It only has 3 stars, which I think is kind of low for this restaurant. However, I only had drinks and, possibly, the reviews are based on their full dining experience.

Great place to go on the weekends and sit outside. I took went there with my 9year old son & a friend of mine. My son had a blast checking out all the Luxury sports cars zoom down the street while we ate. The food was great and I had a cocktail that had jalapenos in it… So good! Highly recommend it if you like a little spice in your life!! n ;) It is a little pricey… but then again not for the area… If you’re on a budget & hungry, may not be the best place for you.

My review may be biased because my girls and I came into this joint hung over and HUNGRY, maybe even a bit hangry, as our first restaurant choice was closed. It’s all good because we found this precious pub. Day: Sunday Seating: There is indoor seating and bar inside, and a covered patio out in the front. TVs everywhere, so it’s a good place to watch a game. People were watching football and I believe one team was a green team, and they were kicking ass. Obviously, I don’t know anything about football, but I digress. Food: They serve brunch until 4:00 pm on Sundays. Thank goodness because we arrived around 3:45 pm, and we were able to dabble in some breakfast food and lunch food. Nutella Bacon French Toast:(5⁄5) yummmmm. Just one bite, and you will forget all the calories that this dish has. I was full from the other five dishes that we ordered, but I just couldn’t resist finishing off this plate. The crunchy crust, the salty bacon slathered in nutella, sprinkled with powdered sugar = foodgasm. Truffle Garlic Tots =(4⁄5) A bit salty, but nonetheless good. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Warning: may burn the roof of your mouth if eating in haste like I did. Sweet Potato Fries(5⁄5) Yummyyyy! Breakfast potatoes(5⁄5) Flavorful, crunchy, but soft on the inside. Belmont Burger:(5⁄5) applewood bacon, gruyère, onion marmalade, arugula, pickle, mayo. Juicy, good burger. Eat it while it’s hot or the cheese will harden. Spicy Turkey Scramble(4⁄5) roasted Serrano pepper, turkey sausage, feta cheese, red onion, sour cream, chips. Had a nice kick to it. Biscuits and Gravy Benedict(3⁄5) turkey sausage, poached egg, bacon gravy, buttermilk biscuits. This was the least favorite out of all the dishes, but my friends liked it. Service: Attentive Bonus: The chef hooked it up, and gave us free chocolate bread pudding with ice cream on the house. It fit perfectly because it was actually my best friend and my birthday lunch. SCORE! Parking: Found metered parking right next to the restaurant, and my friends found parking right across the street. Just one note for the owners of this pub: Fix the toilets. The bathroom for women was out of order.
