Still a great store for your organic & all natural foods. Of course a bit expensive but it’s good to know the meats & other food products are grass fed & antibiotic free. 100% Natural feels good & it’s my way of cleansing all the crappy food out that I tend to eat on a normal basis. 5-7-2016

I still go to wild by nature for the pressed juices(SUJA) and protein shakes(Organic Valley), but I’ve stopped eating from the deli section. I’ve now come home with bad food more times than I can count on one hand. Bad quinoa salad, bad broccoli salad(3 times). This week I picked up Marco Vegetarian Chickpea Masala and it’s terrible. Granted it’s a packaged product that«Wild by» sells but they should sample this stuff before they carry it. There’s nothing masala about this chickpea masala. And then there are the high prices which I’m sure have been commented on at length so I won’t weigh in. While I’m pretty convinced this location is going to close at some point, I’m posting this so maybe they’ll tighten up the ship. Hire some professionals to shape the place up. Until then…

so i usually live in LA where I’m spoiled by having a whole foods or co op or farmer’s market on every block, ridiculously fresh produce, and people who don’t think you’re a snob for eating organic. getting to whole foods from where i currently am(babylon) is kind of a pain in the neck so i was really psyched when the Wild By Nature opened up. they have a great meat selection which is fantastic if you want hormone/grass fed/antibiotic free meat. the produce selection is good but not great, same can be said about the deli selection(too much prepackaged or premade meals vs plain cold cuts made in house) though they have a juice bar which is pretty fantastic. their pricing seems a little arbitrary as some stuff i’ve gotten great deals especially on meat/poultry, while some of the bulk dry stuff seems WAYYYY overpriced. the store is laid out really well, the staff are all super awesome and friendly, and the parking lot isn’t a nightmare. i’d give them 5 stars if they had more in house coldcuts and their pricing was more in line with the organic sections of stop & shop or even whole foods.

One of the biggest highlights of my year is this place opening up(8÷22÷14). I have been anxiously waiting for a Whole Foods or something like that to open up in the Babylon/Islip area. The store is beautifully laid out(of course everything looks new and shiny right now) and it is not as big as usual which makes it easier to get around, in and out. They offer lectures from time to time on health issues mainly. The staff seem to be friendly and helpful. What else? A juice bar, a wok station, full blown deli area with amazingly tasty selections(I’ve tried a bunch already and everything has been delish). They have already packaged food that they make fresh there so this is an excellent spot to grab a bite to eat or if you need to bring something to a party last minute. They are very good with listing ingredients accurately which I greatly appreciate. If you are a fresh produce lover you will not be disappointed, the greens, veggies and fruits all looked very beautiful and crisp — not crusty and wilted. I was REALLY happy with the selection of mushrooms wowza. When I was picking out tomatoes I noticed that next to each variety was a little card that told you how you are supposed to cook/prepare them and also how you are supposed to store them which I found tremendously helpful. I am also very happy that they have a great beer selection all chilling in the fridge on the last isle. Overall prices seem normal for what you would pay for higher quality products. If you have the«Wild Card» store card you will get a nice juicy discount coupon at the end of each 8 week cycle so it makes you want to keep shopping there for everything. Sorry Sherries… you have some serious competition here!
