Was really disappointed today in this location. They were out of chicken and rice. We were promised«double meat» to make up for it. What we ended up with was about ½ of the normal serving. And no meat what so ever on a salad we ordered. We also ordered a kids meal and was charged for rice even though they were out. When we paid for our order the cashier asked«what kind of meat did you order?» Our response was«the only meat that your not out of» On top of it we ordered mango and cilantro, did not get that either. What a rip off. We won’t return.

The staff here went the extra mile for my daughter with Celiac. I asked the employee if he would change his gloves. He removed his gloves, washed his hands and put fresh gloves on. Everyone that touched her Baja Bowl changed their gloves first. I appreciate their attention to detail and their concern for her health. She loved her meal.

This place is just ok. Kind of expensive for a burrito and drink if you ask me. The steak burrito tasted good but the hot enchilada sauce was bland. Overall probably a safe go to for a basic burrito.

I appreciate Costa Vida. As far as fast food joints go, it’s not bad. It’s extremely similar to Café Rio or Chipotle. They’re all about the same price and quality. I think they’re slightly expensive, but you get a mass amount of food to shove down your double chinned gullet. So it’s all gravy.

Good food, same as the other costa vida’s around the state but the last few times I have come here I have had issues with the employees. They either don’t know what is going on or don’t listen when you place your order. It never used to be like this. It’s more annoying than anything.

Have been here about 5 times. Food also good. Sometimes it gets busy and noisy. I prefer a more quiet atmosphere. I do enjoy their nachos. Small size is enough for one person.

Went here recently with a few coworkers. Most of us were getting a burrito, myself included. I have been to Café Rio multiple times and immediately knew I was being short changed here. The amount of meat I watched them put in my burrito was far less than expected. My buddy in front of me also had a burrito and was taking his turn at the cash register. He got a soft drink and was told his total was nearly $ 13, he glanced over at me with wide eyes, nearly in shock. I about crapped my pants and asked for a water cup when it was my turn at the register. My total was just over $ 10. Yeah, $ 10 for a burrito and nothing else. The burrito tasted mediocre and everyone else basically said the same. We should have gone to Café Rio for a bigger, better tasting and cheaper burrito.

I don’t know why this location has such a bad rep on here? This is the closest location to my house, so I stop in occasionally for a burrito or a salad. The service has always been friendly, and the place always seems to be pretty clean. I like that Costa Vida had refried beans, unlike other Mexican food chains. In my opinion, you aren’t a true Mexican restaurant unless you have refried beans. All of the ingredients seem to be a higher quality, and the portions are bigger as well. It seems to have a bad reputation on here, but I’d say just give it a try yourself and form your own opinion.

I’ve eaten at this location a few times before, definitely nothing memorable. Every time I eat here I remember why I should have just made the drive to Café Rio. Why I even go back every few months is a mixure of convenience, forgetfulness, and hope. Last night my husband picked me up a steak quesadilla. I was so hungry, which makes this all the sadder, the quesadilla was wadded up in piece of tinfoil. It’s deformed shape made it difficult to eat. It got worse from there. The cheese was seriously lacking, and the steak looked like beef jerky. Even someone who likes thier steak well done would take issue. Not only did it look like beef jerky, it’s texture was exactly the same. It took a lot of chewing, and it had no flavor. I had to peel back the wad and break out the salt. They had no sour cream, lucky for me I had it at home. Something had to balance out the dryness of that meat! The one plus was the rice. It’s was the only positive of my meal. But last I checked, I hadn’t paid $ 10 for rice.

I been staying across the street from Jordan Landing since it’s close to the job I’m working on and I’m trying re-build my Hampton Inn points after blowing most on a summer vacation. Lots of food choices across the street, but all are chains. I was in the mood for a fish taco and the GPS showed a Mexican place nearby. I drove over, walked in and looked at the menu and walked out. $ 4.50 for a single fish taco?! $ 5.50 for a small order of nachos?! I left and was trying to decide where else to go but I really wanted a fish taco so went back. Extremely noisy interior(had to ask and repeat everything 2 or 3 times to the order takers and cashier). Got my fish taco and small nachos and went back to my room(did I mention it’s right across the street?) Pretty much the most bland fish taco I have ever had(and it was on a flour tortilla — really?). The nachos had maybe 3 crisp chips. The rest were so mushy I had to use a fork to get the bland salsa and guacamole. If you like REAL Mexican food, well, this aint it.

This location is always dirty. The portions are getting smaller and smaller all the time. I managed to eat my rice in two spoonfuls. Their food is good but if the dining room is always this grungy even when its slow… whats the kitchen like?

I am not a fan!!! Over priced and half the size of Café Rio. I got a chicken salad, it was small had no flavor and not worth the money!!!
