Portion sizes were what makes America great! And fat. The waitress we got left something to be desired, she was annoyed every time I asked for anything, like a refill on our drinks or the proper amount of place settings. The corn bread though was devine and the brisket was so tender. The part that depresses me a little is that all the meats don’t really have good flavor without their sauces. I suppose that’s part of their charm, the sauces, but I would have loved to try a naked piece of chicken and not have to dunk it in bbq sauce to make it taste good. The mac n’ cheese is epic, baked beans were just okay. A bit spendy for quality, but what they lack in quality they definitely make up in quantity.

The food here is OK but nothing to rave about its edible I feel the portions are small and overpriced and they really nitpick on everything, everything is extra and cost money I understand and they’re in the business to make money not lose money.. but my gosh FEED up a man lol… tired of the small portions even the fries were small come on! I’m just tired of chain restaurants especially this one. The beef brisket and burnt ends were pretty good. But I was hungry as soon as I finished my meal lol

We love the food at Famous Dave’s. We ate there all the time until we moved to Salt Lake. This location is a joke. We went the first time when they were having their all-you-can-eat shrimp and we’re very disappointed. Not only did my husband get his shrimp well after the rest of our party, but he only got 3 shrimp. He then had to find a waiter to get more shrimp since we never saw ours again after his food was given to him. The waiter then told him that they were not doing that deal anymore. We asked to speak to the manager who also said that the promo had ended so we pointed out that on their signs it said that the promo ended the next day. After this we did not go back for several months. The next time was on a Wednesday and we were told there would be an hour wait. There was no one there! They were understaffed so they only could seat a few tables at a time. Seriously? We left. We gave them one more try this last week. This time we ordered to go. We paid over $ 70 for dried out ribs and burnt chicken. We are never going back.

Best ‘Que in the county as far as I’m concerned. Prices are fair, sides are great(especially the Wilbur’s beans and coleslaw). Nice selection of sauces. Oh! And the Margaritas are some of my faves. Come here more often than I remember to check in for. I’ll try to do better with that!

Birthday dinner today for a large group of all ages. We had appetizers — brisket nachos, traditional and pineapple wings, entrees — burgers, salads, burnt ends, ribs and all the trimmings. The food was great and the service was fantastic.

Dissatisfied. I had the lunch special Beef Brisket Sandwich. The bun was so old it fell apart before I could put sauce on the beef. Tried to eat it anyway but it kept falling apart from being so dry. Not sure but there were 2 spots of mold on the bun. Brisket was dry also. I have eaten here many times but never on the lunch special. Evidently they save the scraps for the cheap lunch. I will not go back unless this evening dinner.

We have never tried eating here before and for the first time it was ok, nothing to be excited for Ribs were a little burnt, had to ask for more sauce just to taste a little better. We were there about 2 months ago. The cost was a little higher but for what we purchased we could go to one of our favorite restaurants and have better food such as Ribs. We ended up leaving about ½ food there and no take home as that is how much we dis tasted, service though was impeccable as server tried to make sure we had plenty to drink and bread or fries something they give you at table. Corn on cob was really good, but overall it was ok. We might try again just to see if maybe it was a bad cook or something at later date. Will edit if that happens

Disgusting! My dad and I were I the mood for ribs. We came here and got seated right away and our drinks right away. My water had floaties in it and settled on the bottom, as did my dads. So I showed the waiter who was very apologetic and said, «the dishwasher here is just horrible.» He brought us new ayers with our iced tea and lemonade and again all the cups were disgustingly gross. How am I supposed to feel good about eating your food when my drinks aren’t even clean? Sadly, we got up and walked out and we won’t be back. Our waiter was very nice but seriously famous dave… You won’t be famous for long if you can’t instal a better dishwasher or hire someone to actually clean your damn dishes!

Again. BBQ isn’t my first choice, but I’ve learned to appreciate it more this last visit! I really enjoyed my meal. Our group of six ventured out for the All-American BBQ Feast which was recommended for 4 – 6 people and the Sweetwater Catfish Fingers for an appetizer. We were a little worried it may not be enough but we decided to see how much food we get first. The feast included spareribs, brisket, chopped pork, fries, beans, corn, and corn bread. We decided to substitute the roasted chicken with rib tips and the coleslaw with Mac and cheese and they had no problem with the request. We asked for the Wilbur’s Revenge BBQ hot sauce and they mentioned they only sell by the bottle. We were willing since it’s something we can bring back home but they came back to tell us they were out, sad day! I was anxious to try it. Spareribs were my favorite of the meat selection. Some of the rib tips were too dry for my liking. Brisket was also flavorful and juicy. I even enjoyed all of the sides. Devil’s spit is my go-to sauce for dipping with Rich & Sassy coming in second. Cornbread is no longer muffin style. It looks like a piece of cake, not as appealing but just as delicious. The Catfish fingers we’re okay. Skinnier pieces than I expected probably wouldn’t recommend. We finished everything but the 2⁄6 corn and a couple of fries so it was enough. Service was okay. She was quick attentive until the end. When the checks finally came out, she took even longer. There was a wait for her to pick them up along with charging but we did have it split 6 ways evenly so maybe that’s why! I forgive her.

We came here to eat as a special favor for our dear friend(We truly love him). It took over an hour for our food to get to us and it was wrong. The waitress was working her first night and struggling through it. The manager is very young and does not have his staff’s back. He continually threw his people under the bus. In the end the food was cold and bad. The waitress will probably quit and her manager well he’s going to college eventually to get an engineering degree… or not.

1 word, BBQ! Chicken was juicy, ribs no meat, pulled pork was mediocre, semi dry. The brisket was also semi dry and juicy. Slow service and not busy at all. Highly priced as many bbq is but not worth the money. This place don’t compare to legit bbq just a chain of bbq that isn’t worth spending top dollar for. Handles big groups but with a 8 or more gets auto gratuity why go for poor service and mediocre food? With many other choices I wouldn’t go back Good décor, good seating, dim lights, depressing environment really.

Famous for slow service. It took forever to get our food. My family finally got there orders but my wife’s salad didn’t show up. Had to ask for water refills. Wait staff came back 10 min after we had our food and said to my wife that they were out of the dressing that goes with the salad. 5 more min for the salad to finally arrive.

Yum, yum, yum! I love that the cornbread is not in the muffin papers that it stuck to and half the bread would be in the paper anymore. I had the brisket and it was so tender and flavorful. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive.

Went in for my brothers birthday because he liked the food. The initial seating service wasn’t bad however after ordering our drinks, it took a while to get our food orders taken. I ordered the lunch special with spare ribs and brisket. The brisket wasn’t bad as well as the corn bread. The ribs seemed over cooked and the Mac and cheese tasted like it was made from the cheese you find at nacho machine in a gas station. We sat there for ten minutes before I went up front to pay the check, the hostess told me she would get our waiter. I paid the bill but I wondered if we were charged for the flies that we’re flying around. This was my second time here and I don’t think I will go back.

Went here for lunch and I ordered a salad with pulled pork. The salad was surprisingly good. I’ve had poor experiences here before with the main meat menu items was the reason I tried the salad, that and to cut some calories. When I ordered my salad I ordered the dinner size salad knowing the lunch salad is very small. When my meal arrived I got the lunch size salad. As mentioned, it was too small but at least I wasn’t charged for the dinner sized salad. However, it was still rather expensive for the lunch size portion.

So, hubby was dying for meaty bbq and we were here Saturday night. We ordered the Feast for One and shared it. A lot of food, and we had a hard time finishing it. The waiter was nice, but seemed a bit put out that we were going to share a meal. We gave a generous tip, so he didn’t have to worry, and he chilled after a bit. It was nothing over inspiring(I miss Tony Romas!). It was good, though the country beans were over spicy… even for hubby’s love of spicy food. The cornbread muffins could use a little butter or something to put on them… fairly dry. I like the variety of sauces available and the steak fries were delicious!

So I work at the only other barbecue restaurant in Jordan landing and when I ate here it was just non stop comparing. Although I did like their cornbread and ribs. Our waiter was pretty awesome too.
