Fun environment, good friendly service and DELICIOUS seafood! Joes has recently updated their menu again and it is awesome. They have added some new items and are now offering all the steam pots for two. So you still get all the same amount of food for almost TEN bucks less. If like spicy Cajun style food try the Raging Cajun it is BOMB!

First time my husband and i went to joes crab shack. Got the crab dip. Was excellant. I got the redfish with lobster sauce and my husband got the classic steampot. Both were awesome. Service was great. We both left full. We are already planning our next visit there. We drove over an hour to eat there and it was well worth it.

My wife and I went on a date there. The menus had just changed and everything tasted great! Fun drinks and the food was exceptional considering we are land locked. I can’t wait to go back

Just ate here $ 115 for five people. Food was not all that great. My advice skip this place. On a good note the service was good.

Went here last weekend, service was great! Ordered the shark bite which was cute and the bartender did not skimp on the alcohol, which was awesome. But we were super disappointed with the steampot. We ordered the Dungeness crab with garlic& herb seasoning. When it came out, it looked like it was steamed with no seasonings at all. It was still good, but not at all what was advertised. We should’ve sent it back, but we saved our appetite and were hungry. Crab is always good, but for how much we paid, they should have seasoned it better. Sad to say, we will probably not return for a while. Or we will save our seafood cravings for San Francisco or Seattle.

Went on a Wednesday for all you can eat snow crab. I loved how they had a lot of flavors to pick from. My fiancé and I tried all of them. Our favorite one would have to be Joes signature special. It was a BBQ flavor. The only down side was when we wanted more the crab started to feel soft so it was hard to break vs the first time it came out and it was much easier. Definitely coming back to try the other specials they have on other days.

When I come to Joe’s, I’m usually at the bar. Service at the bar is quick: you get your drink and food fast! This time, we hung out in the dining room celebrating a few birthdays for 8 people and service was complete opposite. There were maybe 2 other families of 4 yet, service was extremely slow. Our server blamed it on their machines, but it shouldn’t take 3.5 hours for a dining experience at Joe’s Crab Shack. Back home in CA, staff are always singing and dancing on the hour and half hour while it’s pretty dead here.

Our service was amazing! My only complaint I have about this restaurant is I wish they would have a few more food options for the customers that eat there with a vegetarian guest. My husband loves Cajon food. buy I’m a vegetarian… my only option was mozzarella sticks. The menu option keeps me from wanting to eat there with my husband … but he loves it!

Love this place! I go there every year on my birthday. The daily specials are great and if you have kids they can play on the playground while you enjoy a nice dinner out.

I used to really like this place years ago when they first came out with their steam pots. Now it seems as if they cut back on the quantity and quality of those pots. I have to say, I was impressed that they have added more pots to the menu. It gives the customers more variety in their choices. Although there were more choices, their presentation of the pots have gone down. I realized that there seems to be less portion in the pot. I used to be able to share a pot with another individual and it would be a struggle to finish. The seasoning was barely there, and everything was over cooked(overcooked seafood is no good). This is so disappointing to me because this is the only place that you can really get these kinds of pots(as far as I know). I love seafood and living in Utah, it’s hard to find a good seafood place to take care of my cravings. The drinks are pretty good though, and I believe there’s a special on Tuesdays(I went on a Wednesday). The service was alright. She had a big party to take care of so naturally most of her attention was put there. Also, they have a no need to tip type of policy. We didn’t get to fully understand the whole idea behind this, but I guess you don’t have to tip if you don’t want to? We still left a tip because this is what we do in the food business. I really wanted to like this place again, it just changed so much over the years(and not really for the better).

Not usually a fan of the chains, but Joe’s was great! Seated promptly, and drinks out quickly by a very nice server. The special clam chowder that my sister had looked great with clams still in the shell in it. I just had the crab stuffed mushrooms off the appetizer menu and a salad. I loved the way the salad was tossed with just enough dressing and my generous order of mushrooms was delicious. Hubby enjoyed plenty of coconut shrimp, so many he had to bring some home. When we got our check, there was no line for a tip, so we asked the server. She said that they pay an adequate wage, so it’s a no tipping restaurant. That made our dinner prices seem quite reasonable. I look forward to going back and trying something new.

Drinks are great on Tuesday, cheap and decent apps. Thursday’s are half price cocktails. Staff is attentive at the bar but I’ve never sat anywhere else. Try the surf and turf burger.

Food was good… However our experience was awful! Julie was a decent waitress until her and her arrogant male friend began discussing«lazy» «worthless» BEANERS! That was a little bit disgusting! If this is the type of establishment that supports those views I’ll NEVER come back!!!

Wow. What a great dinner. We had the shared pot of Joes Classic, and it was fabulous. Even the Corn on the Cob was incredibly good. I think our waitress really took it to the next level for us. Her name is Windi and she was not only very attentive but she was a lot of fun also. We drove up from Davis County just to go to Joes. It was well worth it. Thanks Joes! And thanks to Windi.

Me and my husband went to try it out tonight. We thought the service was a bit slow. I had the fish and shrimp, my husband had the Orlean bucket. It wasn’t very filling for us. I hated the fries and the prawns were s small with little meat. I don’t think we’ll ever go back.

I forgot how hungry I leave this place. A bucket of crab isn’t filling– duh me. The potatoes helped fill the space. Corn was awful, tasted hard, and not fresh. Like frozen corn quality. Is it really a detriment to your finances to get fresh corn? The crab was good. Service was good.

Went out to dinner on a Wednesday night. Shared Mahi tacos with my husband. I wasn’t a big fan of them, thought they were rather dry, but my husband really enjoyed them. Also shared the 2 pound spicy shrimp with sausage. Most deff enjoyed that and the patio punch drink. Waiter was attentive to us and provided everything we needed. Décor very«shacky» but also outdated. Still, very clean and pleasant place. Will deff be returning.

Don’t come here expecting class by any means… from the location to the clientele. We stopped in because the sushi place near by wasn’t open until 3:30 and I was hungry NOW and wanted sea food dammit! So I ended up here. I mean, it’s family-ish, and chain-ish, and it’s DECENT priced for what it is I suppose. I still feel like it should be somewhat cheaper considering all it really is, is a Chili’s geared towards seafood. I got the red snapper, and it wasn’t horrible. The muscles in garlic sauce for the appetizer were my favorite part. My girl got a steam pot. Never have I been more attracted than seeing my girlfriend crack open half a steamed lobster with her hands and suck lobster meat out from under her nails. Sexy! And I thought only oysters an aphrodisiac.
