The sales lady I dealt with was very pleasant, an older lady. She helped me through my purchase and got me approved for credit etc etc. it was fairly easy to pick up our sofa which we realized was faux leather. However — faux leather or not it was a good deal so I let that slide. We didn’t have to wait long at the warehouse for pick up and the employees were fairly nice. BUT and I stress BUT, when we got the sofa home and un-packed it was saw a huge bashed in corner of the sofa. I didn’t bother with trying to replace it, I was able to somewhat remedy it myself. And I’m much to lazy for all of that hassle. I will also note that the frets were very difficult to install and we noticed a few other quality issues. Over all this sofa was only 400 $ and it will last as long as we intended to keep it for and the experience was pleasant. 3 stars for service, no stars for quality.

3÷10÷14 Update Spoke with manager and she will let us return the sofa for store credit. But, we couldn’t fit the sofa into our car so keeping it – :/ Found a nice bed frame for $ 39.99…still looking for other bedding supplies for our guestroom. They don’t have too much light or neutral color selection – just very dark wood so felt pretty lucky to score a white headboard! — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Checked out the clearance center and found ½ a sectional for $ 199. Pros: 1. Their clearance section has some deals, but you have to be lucky to find one which works for your home. 2. Large selection and some are good quality Cons: 1. we’ve had the sectional for a week now but unfortunately, it’s not working out for us. Return policy is not as good as other stores e.g. Costco Tip: We received this tips after having bought the furniture. You can always negotiate on price, especially if the clearance furniture has been in the floor for over a week.

There’s something about coming to RC Willey that always makes you leave feeling like you were ripped off. The place is big and sometimes you can find a good deal in the outlet section. Sales people are a bit annoying to have lurking around. But if you find yourself buying something here opt to pick it up yourself instead of paying the 60 dollars for delivery. But beware, they make you go to a completely different place to pick up your stuff.

After tens of years experience with this company, which we now refer to as Are We Silly, I simply cannot support it any longer. The results we’ve endured throughout ions of time and double-digit chances range from consequentially miserable(bordering on litigation) to tolerable at best. There was once a time when our home was furnished primarily of items found here. Thankfully the bleakness of those days have passed, and we have forged out of the analgous monotony of our home being the mirror image of everyone else’s, inside and out, thanks to the prolific cookie cutter communities in Utah. It would require way too much time and effort to detail all of the bad experiences we’ve had throughout the years at RCW. Suffice to say it’s largely a result of disgracefully shoddy sales staff and store management who simply care solely about their commissions and profits rather than true customer satisfaction… which appears sarcastically at the heart of their stated Satisfaction Guarantee. To me, this is a slap in the face of these hard times where every dollar spent is precious. Companies of this type should be eager to provide above-average service, at least. Many of our issues were appropriately brought to management — store level as well as corporate — and, in general, were dealt with no better than what had brought us to the complaint in the first place. Bottom line: considering all of the smaller home furnishing stores ripe with character and style so abundant in Utah, and inarguably on par with the pricing here, I fail to understand RCW’s popularity. Is our society really that dependent on financing xeroxed furniture? For shame.

This location is the RC Willey Outlet, which means you get a mix and match variety of home furnishings, and if you’re willing to poke around a little, you might find some deals. I tend to have a purposed look about me when I shop, so I don’t usually fall prey to the lurking salespeople. There are plenty of them here, with varying levels of annoyance. Some are perfectly helpful and friendly, while others assert their presence a little more clearly. The place is huge, so you can spend some time. There is a main sales floor area with mock rooms that showcase bedroom sets, dining sets, and all the knicky-knacky things that go with them. You’ve also got a large area dedicated to sofas, another for recliners, and then the odd rug and mattress display area. Don’t forget to venture to the scratch-and-dent area. Sweet deals here, but they range from the minor scuff to the major surgical need items. Stuff here is more affordable than those higher-end shops, but you’re going to have to really kick the tires to see what you’re getting. Not as inspirational as a fancy showroom, but if you’re willing to look around you could find something to take home.
