Wouldn’t return and waste my money. Once was enough for me. What can I say, the wings were drowning in sauce but dry underneath. Instead of properly tossing the wings in sauce it seems they placed them in the basket and poured an excessive amount of sauce on top. Servers seemed to not be knowledgable about the menu in both the bar and dining room. My friends order was wrong due to false info from one server saying they had something they didn’t for nachos and just bringing out a different meat instead without informing them first. Go to Buffalo Wild Wings instead and save yourself the trouble.

Christo’s had a 30 minute wait, so we went to Wings etc. because we had some hungry kids. Should have waited at Christo’s. There were maybe three tables taken on this sunny Saturday afternoon. There appeared to be one waitress on duty. She was unable to handle these three tables — everything was slow except the appetizer came out promptly. Meals took forever and Wings etc is basically just fried SYSCO food so I don’t really understand why there was such a delay to get our meals. I presume the kitchen is just horribly understaffed. Food was so-so, which was actually better than I remember, but the service was absolutely terrible. I mean, just horrendous. We got our food 50 minutes after we got there when there was basically no one in the place. Unacceptable. No apology, no nothing. Fast food is a much, much better choice than Wings etc, but if you’re near there and it’s not Sunday, just go to Parthenon across the parking lot.

They have decent prices on daily specials but overall, the food isn’t very good and the service is consistently awful. Most of the servers have a bad attitude in conjunction with providing poor service(incorrect food/bills, neglecting to check up, etc.). Some coworkers of mine enjoy trivia night on Thursdays, otherwise, I would never eat here.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while. Definitely not worth it. The wings were fried to a hard meatless crisp and drowned in sauce. Salad is basically just cold cuts of meat on some lettuce. The service was incredibly slow. One table got up and left because it took so long to get their food. If you’re in the area and looking for great food and you want to get something to drink go to the Greek Restaurant next door.

Every time we order, they always either mess up the order or forget something completely. This time in particular they completely forgot our chicken strips, along with forks and straws. We normally order from the south side location because their staff is very friendly on top of always checking our orders to make sure that they are right. before leaving the store. With messing up our order every time we order at this location, you think they would catch on and start checking to go’s before letting customers leave the building. Always paying for food that we never even end up getting. Jimmy Johns it is from now on.

Pretty dissapointed with their wings. Felt that I paid too much for too little. Drink specials look alright during the week.

Most disgusting cole slaw I have ever eaten… basically a soup of dressing with saggy cabbage. Oh and don’t even try to order delivery through a middle man service, your oder will most likely be incomplete and the problem appears to be on their end. At least that’s what has happened to me 3 out of 3 times.

Wing’s etc. was alright. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice although it would have been packed if the restaurant was crowded. It was also a little strange because there was no music. It was nice because it was only us and one other pair, but if you had a table sitting close to you I imagine you may end up part of a conversation that you’re not interested in hearing. Their Tuesday special was $ 2.50 domestic pints. I probably should have went for that option, because my 3 Floyds Yum Yum was $ 6(although that certainly isn’t off the mark for a pint). Although we pass this place all of the time, I just assumed the restaurant was not vegetarian-friendly based on the name. But I was wrong. They have a veggie pattie that you can have substituted for any burger at no charge. My hubby thought the veggie pattie was pretty good. Side note, they also have a variety of vegetarian app and salads that are well-priced. I got wings and fries. The fries were greasy and gave my stomach a bit of a rumble, but I liked the wings. They have 19 different wing flavors, which are all sauces. I like a dry rub on my wings, so the waitress kindly offered that they could put either cajun spice on them or garlic spice. I’m in the minor-league for spice tolerance. I opted for the cajun and it was probably the maximum spicy I could have handled. While they were good, I didn’t like them as much as Chumley’s dry jerk rub wings, which have a similar flavor. Some of them weren’t quite as crispy. Although this place was only mediocre I’d probably return. Food was prompt(although the restaurant was pretty empty), they had a good drink special, and our server was friendly but not overbearing.

I’d say this was a good place for an informal lunch. Wings was recommended by the person I was hosting for a business lunch. He chose it because it was convenient for him, he enjoyed the menu and was a place that he goes to frequently. Personally, I would not have chosen this site for a business luncheon. The place is intentionally loud. There are games sitting within feet of the table. My lunch was ok, but pretty standard for a strip mall restaurant. Nothing exceptional.

I love the vin of this place and have for a few years. They play good music(my favorite part) and there are plenty of televisions to play all televised sporting events(my husbands favorite part) They also have a few video games for our son. So everyone is happy with Wings etc. I’m especially excited for the veggie burger that they will prepare with the fixings of any other burger on the menu! They also have salads that are dinner size if I need a change up from the veggie burger. The prices are reasonable and actually better than most Sports Bar oriented restaurants. The location is great for us because I feel like there are such few options outside of Campus in West Lafayette. It’s much better than fast food but without the wait and prices of other sit down places. The weight time to get food is under 15 minutes. Although I do miss the free options of peanuts or chips and salsa or bread that a few places offer. Overall a great place for families or couples!

Some menu items are good and some bad. Good: boneless wings with sauce on side. I like miso spicy and blazin Asian. Bbq dipping sauce is too sweet and mild. Bad: burgers are grilled frozen patties despite the claim that they are not. In general, stick to the wings and not the etc.

Went in before a Purdue game, ordered 4 different beers and the waitress came back each time and told me they were out. Then ordered food, 15 minutes later… waitress came back and told me they were out of that also. 4 of us dined, 2 of us received dinner as we waited on the other orders for some reason. Food was horrible, I will never come back again.

Manager was rude and wouldn’t let my graduate student daughter in the bar with her parents. She is 27, No common sense. Their food isn’t that good to turn away customers. Get some common sense.

the service and food is terrible because all of the staff, including managers, are cranky and annoyed Purdue students. If you have a company of college kids thrown into running a business and serving customers, with them have no idea what they are doing considering their average age is 20 years old, this is what you will end up.

Pretty terrible, actually. Food quality and timeliness were well below average. Medium heat buffalo sauce was all oil and wasn’t spicy at all. Boneless wings were somewhat edible amongst the puddles of oil. French fries were among the worst I’ve ever had… limp, cold, undersalted. Pretzel nuggets were clearly microwaved from a frozen bag and placed next to nacho cheese sauce they got from a high school football concession stand. The best thing I have to say about this Wings Etc location is that they have several functional televisions. If someone tells you that they like this exact Wings Etc location more than … anywhere else … then you should immediately stop taking food-related advice from said person.
An update to my last review: I went to the Wings, Etc. location near Avon, IN. The waitress was great, and the wings were tasty and coated in sauce. So it isn’t Wings, Etc. that is the problem, but just the West Lafayette location. Have a look into your management.

The place definitely had the feel of a wings /sports environment. The hamburger I had there was great and everything was priced similar to places like buffalo wild wings. Overall a great place to stop by if your in the area.

Good food. The wings are huge and overall I would say I prefer Wings Etc. over their main competitor, Buffalo Wild Wings.

Wings Etc recently opened up down the road from where I live, which made me excited to have a sports bar where I could catch a game with some(hopefully) tasty food and cold beer. It’s a chain regional to the Midwest and seems to have somewhat of a following, so what the heck. I went with coworkers on two occasions. One, which I will briefly touch on, was to conquer their«Wall of Flame Challenge» which involved eating 16 crazy hot wings with no food or drink. Success! At the sacrifice of all taste for the next day. Worth it? Well, I did get a free t-shirt. Back to Wings. Having worked in restaurants for a decent part of my life, I am critical when it comes to service. I’m not a jerk by any means, and I understand the concept of being busy, but there should be a good line of communication between staff and customer. Wings Etc does not have this. We waited 10 minutes for our waitress, 15 minutes for our drinks, 30 minutes for our food, and then 20 minutes more for her to bring us the check and then run our credit cards. That’s just not acceptable. And the second time I went back, the service was just as bad. Not friendly, and way too long. As for the food, it’s ok. The boneless wings are cooked to death so you get crusty nuggets and the traditional wings are a bit big(because they are jumbo) and have a large skin pocket on them that does not cook very well, leaving you with a flabby, fatty wing to eat. The sauces are ok, much thicker than any other wing place I have been to, and most seem to have a tomato base. So the sauce does not really stick to the wing, meaning the wings are a bit bland. The fries they make are very tasty, but that’s pretty much all I found enjoyable about the experience. So sadly I will have to travel further down the road if I want chicken wings or a football game, because this place is just not working out.
