Ace Hardware

I love this place. They have what I need consistently, products are easy to find, the prices are competitive and their service is great! I am always greeted promptly upon entering, directed to the right area for my needs and quickly checked out and on my way.
In particular, I appreciate David at this store. His attitude and knowledge make shopping a pleasure. One time I was looking to replace a shower head that was not properly working. Ace did not have an exact replacement that would fit in the mounted holder, and David offered to take a look at it. He found that the gasket (which they did not stock) was not properly seated, and corrected that. Problem solved.
It doesn’t get much better than that.

It is great to have a neighborhood hardware store. I always check locally for my hardware and home repair needs and have not been disappointed. Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Really well staffed and knowledgable. Really clean and stocked well. I would avoid the big box stores and drive a few extra miles to shop here.

Excellent service, employees were very helpful and attentive to my needs. They gave advice for doing my project and provided me with the right supplies. I didn’t know where things were in the store and I asked multiple times and they didn’t seem to mind or get fed up with me. It just has a nice friendly feel when you’re in there and I just had a good experience working with them.

Needed a car license plate frame this morning and so I called to see if they could accommodate me. When I went in to the store Morgan not only sold me the frame and bolts but installed it, too! The folks here seem to bend over backwards to help every time I’ve come in. Very knowledgable. I’m glad to have this hardware store so close to home.

I bought some halogen light bulbs and the clerk gave me a good hint on how its better to hold them in a napkin so the oil off my fingers doesnt make the bulb pop. Hey 5 stars for any good advice!

Here’s to hoping the third time is a charm.
The prior two tenants have been restaurants and it never felt like a good fit for this location. So I was happy to see Ace Hardware & Paint renovate the space and so far it has a good selection and tremendously nice and helpful employees. Having a complete hardware store (rather than the hit or miss Historic General Store) fits a need that was missing in our community.
It turns out I was their first paint customer and I picked up several sample pints of Clark + Kensington Paint ($ 4.99/sample). They also stock Valspar. They have a ‘paint expert’ and a few other employees learning the ropes. I also picked up a few other household items, including a replacement coffee pot and the price was less than Fred Meyer.
The store is bursting with merchandise, so much so that some of their stock is spilling out on the front patio. Although the location is light and bright, especially the floor to ceiling windows along the paint section, it feels a bit cramped with narrow aisles.
It is a nice touch to have a complimentary coffee and soda bar (Pepsi products) for customers and a tool chest filled with candy for the kids.
