Meeker J Huey, MD

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life. After my regular PCP closed his office I was/​am forced to find a new PCP. I went to Unilocal to check out reviews as I normally do. I found Huey J. Meeker who’s had fairly good reviews and was somewhat close to my house. The past two years have been pretty rough on me with two spinal surgeries and other medical conditions, so when I went in for my appointment I had a stack of my Medical records to prove /​show my medical condition. I showed up for my appointment and was promptly led to the back room where I waited for the Dr. As he walked in he seemed to be in a hurry, he took one look at my records and saw that I was taking pain medication amongst other medication and said he can’t help me in a very rude manor. He handed me a list of pain doctors and kicked me out. I’m looking for a PCP not a pain Doctor. I need a PCP to refer me to a pain Doctor as dr meeker I’m sure knows. I’m a 33yr old mother of three that has had 2 botched spine surgeries. Very disappointing. I do not recommend him to anyone. Turning away a legit patient who really needed help. Sad.

It’s great to have a local doctor who will make time to see you, even when he’s too busy. Thanks
